We changed to a Heat Pump Dryer because we use our dryer basically everyday. Massive savings on electricity, so easy to use and super quiet. Great range of programs for all different types of clothes.

Initally we were reluctant in buying this unit as it was a new 2022 model and we couldnt find any reviews but figured we'd give it a go because of the long warranty and so glad we did. We haven't had this dryer for long but so far it has been excellent. I washed a full 9kg load of mixed clothes, jackets, socks, jeans etc and put it straight into the dryer and choose the auto mode. Only 1 sock was a little damp probably because it was folded into a ball. All other items were perfectly dry.
The unit is quiet intuative to use with each mode havin...
Read moreg 3 levels of dryness. Ready to wear, Ready to Iron or for storage. For the money this is an absolute bargain in my opinion, I haven't seen any other unit that has reverse tumble (stops big blankets turning into a ball of fabric), 3 year warranty, drying rack, 9 Star energy rating, 9kg capacity and 5 drying air jets. The inner drum is quite big for a 9kg unit when comparing to my 9kg Bosch washing machine. The closest 2 units we saw was the Electrolux but only had 2 years, 8 Star rating and was $350 more expensive and 3 weeks waiting. Or the Haier which was $100 more but only had 2 years warranty and wasnt in stock for 6+ weeks.Purchased in at Harvey Norman for $1,100.

Dryer performs well - average build quality and program design
I've owned this dryer for a couple of weeks now and used it almost everyday given the wet weather in Sydney at the moment. So it is an initial impressions review.
Firstly the drying performance is very good. Given it is a Heat Pump dryer its a little different than your usual vented dryer. Getting air through the clothes efficiently is the name of the game. So keeping filters and air passage ways clear and clean is critical. If you maintain it well, clothes come out soft, dry and very pleasant. The machine does reverse tumble well. I suspect ...
Read morethat is what the 'Twin Air' feature is about, and perhaps it can blow air in both directions across the drum(?) Build quality is only OK. The buttons and dials feel flimsy, and the way the door shuts I often have to double check as it doesn't have a satisfying 'shut' feel. Another small pet-peeve is the water container cannot be fully emptied. Similar to the way there is always a little bit of Orange Juice left in a carton, you just cannot seem to poor the last little bit out. But that's only a minor thing. The way the programs work is the biggest weakness of this machine. It's confusing and not that intuitive. Extra dry has 3 levels in addition to the dryness level you select in the main program, anti crease has 3 different times, and there are a couple hour glass icons that would take experience to understand what they mean. (1 is for remaining cycle time, and the other delays time) I bought this machine for its energy efficiency at a competitive price, and took a risk given there are not many review out there. Overall I am happy, and thought Slovenian made would be good. But would not recommend this machine to friends and family. In summary - does its job well but is let down by build quality and design. If you are in the market for something similar suggest you spend that little bit more and get something of better quality.Purchased in at 2nds World.
