Not a happy camper
The service in Tony Ireland Townsville are not good, I had a recall for wheel bearing 4 years ago they had my car for 5 days end up no car and have to walk to and from my daughter's school, no apologies or complimentary car offered. This time I booked for the Takata airbag recall when drop my car the lady told me that my car was not booked didn't apologise and don't have customer service skills instead telling me that they are fully book and can't do in 2 Weeks time.

Goldy Holden, Midland WA.
Had my VF Redline in for a warranty job. My expectations were that Goldy Holden would treat me equally to a customer buying a new car. I wasn't disappointed ! HSV and V8 Holden owners in my experience treat their vehicle like a first born child. My baby is in safe hands at Goldy Holden. Chatting with another customer over a coffee (good coffee at Goldy too) and interestingly, I was not the only customer to drive from the country to Goldy Holden...that to me, speaks volumes.

genuine vehicle as advertised
the falcon xr6 50th edition ute was more than I was looking for. The whole deal was done over the phone with the help from my cousin who inspected it. Shaun Doran at Alto Holden preowned was on the ball, polite and dedicated to customer satisfaction. the vehicle was trucked to me in Wagga Wagga from the dealership at Chatswood as part of the deal. Happy Chappy !!

Hats off to Port City Holden Hervey Bay Service Dept
Just recently bought a second hand MY15 Cruze. Have bought one SRI-V Cruze new from the dealer and had another one serviced there as well. Have always found their service excellent and have had various warranty issues fixed without problem over the years. This cars battery had gone flat and the RACQ advised that there was a current draw somewhere in the vehicle causing it to go flat. Called into Port City and they asked me to bring it in next week and they would see what they could do. They called me a few days later and said they had found the problem and also the battery had a collapsed cell. Full credit to Adam,Carlin & the technicians for their work.

Customer service is rare to find these days; I have purchased a new 2015 vehicle from Phoenix Holden 2 weeks ago! and Loving it! The whole 2 weeks process was extremely pleasant. onder the investment, he promptly returned all my call and answered my emails over 2 weeks and was a genuine negotiator. poor service dept
we owned two new Holdens over 10yrs . every service done on time. Every service not done as per handbook.eg,brake fluid not changed.major components not checked and replaced,grease in and over car, this is every service, not the odd one. I ask for mechanics to work on car only. I have to return vehicle every time to get redone.

Impressive service.
This is the first review I've ever given any company and the first time I ever cared and wanted the general public to know how great this team of people are...both myself and my partner individually spoke to several of the Eagers Holden Team at different stages of purchasing our new vehicle...my partner Gary Frenchs "words"... I have never come across such a bunch of friendly helpful people, I am really taken back with how kind they all are and professional!
My personal experience with the Eagers Team, from start to finish of the transaction...salesperson-financial department and finally the Delivery Co-ordinator was Impressive service...and Easy.

Disappointed
Be aware when purchasing anything from alto Holden in Chatswood they make promises that they don’t keep if ever finding yourself having to deal with this dealers make sure to have any agreements in writing as they are very quick to go back on there word my car arrives with mechanical issues and half the requests I made were clearly idnored I have contacted [name removed] every day to have this issue sorted ... NO luck yet

and ignorant bunch ; the Melbourne Bank guy in the back room tries so hard to up sell you insurance on top of warranties you have paid for using evocative technical terms about failure of this and that? Sexist, rude car sales consultant
Went to have a look at a new Barina with my infant daughter.
I had conducted a lot of research beforehand to make sure I was happy with the car I was looking at. The sales rep came outside and proceeded to speak over me, didn't address what I was asking. He basically made me feel stupid for asking questions. When I told him I'd come back later in the day and could I have his number to organize a test drive, he shoved the book across the table at me and start clipping his nails (gross) and not even looking in my direction.

Doggy Dealer
Brought the car to dealer to fix engine issue. Cost $3800 ish (including labour) to find out root cause and repair. Then at the first service after that (not done by holden dealer), the mechanic showed me the engine is slowly leaking, and it might be the dealer's staff didn't sealed the engine well after they opened it for repair. Took the car back to dealer, they charged $145 inspection fee at first, and without even flushing the mud under the engine (to tell where the leaking point is), they declared engine wasn't leaking. Now I learned to live with the leaking as I am too busy to go to dealer over and over again, and no more to waste on "inspection fee" too. What a doggy brand!

A doggy dealer and never believe them and never believe of the warranty
I bought a used car from them. It was mentioned that the car has a warranty of 6 years. However, within 3 months of the purchase, my car broke down on the road during the weekend. I have towed the car to their service center and to my surprise, all that they said about the warranty is just fake.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SERVICE/PROFESSIONALISM
Let me start by stating that the following review is about the Holden dealership in Essendon in Keilor road and only Essendon!! apologies for selecting mantello Fawkner as my dealer but Essendon was not on the list.

arge would be $345, it sounded to be a bit expensive but we still agreed to go ahead as I said to myself it’s a major service and it’s probably standard or near standard pricing. I got home I rang the Holden dealership in Preston (Ralph De Silva) just out of curiosity and for comparison I guess, they then quoted me $299 for the same service, was a bit cheaper but a $46 difference although not ideal is something I could live with being only once a year or so, I got a call back later that morning and they said they had completed the service on my car and began to go through the list with me of what needed repaired which included headlight covers, sump gaskets, a radiator, new tyres, AC compressor, brake light. The amount of items they claim to have found seemed extremely excessive, after they went through the whole list they said the total including the service would be $4769!!!!!!!! Never in the 9 years I have owned the car have I ever payed or been asked to pay anything even close to it, the previous most was around $1500 and that was considered a lot and unusual, this was completely unexpected. The guy on the phone proceeded to explain that with all the work needing done that it wasn’t worth putting all this money into the car and within the same breath commenced to give me reasons as to why I should NOT fix it and look to trade it in and put the money towards a new car, I then politely questioned if all these items are actually necessary, he explained that if I am not to get it done then the dealership would be forced to declare the car as un roadworthy as they could be held liable if anything was to happen as it’s all legal now, that was an attempt at an intimidation tactic in my opinion and what I deemed to be somewhat of a threat to attempt to coerce me into agreeing to the fixing costs as their second preference or foremost purchase a new car off them.Similar opinion? Attempting to purchase new 4x2 colorado tray 2018 Ls single cab
Was setting up a test drive in footscray after 3 or 4 phone discussions dealership said it would call me to organise this, they called back an hour later as per discussed only to tell me tray was an added extra, there picture stating drive away no more to pay with ute as a whole only to find out the smallest of fine print saying tray extra when largely enhanced why put a picture stating drive away no more to pay oh sorry picture misleading tray not included. Sorry Alan Mance you lost my business.

Arrogant Staff- crappy experience
I was a serious buyer looking to buy a car, the customer service at Brighton Holden is disgusting and they are ALL arrogant. I was trying to do a deal with a seller and they did not even take my contact details down like all other car dealerships do. They let me walk out on a deal for $1000, as they would not come down to meet half way. I am glad this happened because then i went straight to Booran Holden in Cheltenham and got the exact same car even cheaper and the employees there are great and made us feel so welcome. If i was not set on buying a Holden, Brighton Holden would of turned me off buying any car from this company. I am very satisfied with Booran Holden Cheltenham

SERVICE - IF YOU ARE PREPARED TO WAIT
I contacted service to arrange for my vehicle to be towed there and was advised that it would not be looked at for 2 weeks!!!!! HELP. I made enquiried as to where else I could take it and found Maitland could do it much earlier but when I tried to rearrange where to tow the vehicle I was advised that it had to be taken to the nearest dealership or the towing would be at my expense. NOT HAPPY. I can't be without a car for 2 weeks. How do I shop, attend dr appointment etc. The only reason I put 1 star was because I was unable to get my review to go thru otherwise.

Dangerous repair
Bought a second hand holden. Steering column was loose and bad rattle in front end. They fixed it so i bought the car. 12 months later i removed steering column panel to find they put 4 screws either side of a badly broken bracket so the screws held my steering column in place. Nice. When i rang them i was told they changed their trading name so they were not responsible for work done prior to this. Same staff. Same premises. Same product. Liars...

Caution - Holden Promotions
We purchased our Holden Captiva in 2015 during their promotion "Free service and warranty until 2020". Well think again, read the small print. Just picked our car up from Peter Kittle, Port Adelaide and were informed that we had exceeded our cap offer and were required to pay $339 for service. At no given time during the last 3 years were we informed that due to exceeding the km's cap set at 75k we would have to start to pay for service. I don't understand what part of free service and warranty until 2020, does this not apply, we are in 2018!....Read more
Very disappointed that no communication from the sales or service team at Port Adelaide had decided not to mention this to us, particularly at the last service. This was a misleading promotion and one that should have been explained clearly when the vehicle was purchased given we were open that the line of occupation this car was to be used for was business, we would not have gone down this path. Given the business we are involved in, we will no longer consider using this dealership for our next vehicle purchase, unfortunately you have lost a customer by not being upfront, misleading to obtain a sale and lack of communication during the service process.
