Not suitable for rugs or carpet.
Suction is OK on hard floors, but there is absolutely no suction on rugs or carpet. I only use it for a daily tidy up and use my Dyson for the big weekly clean. The Hoover has a very small dust collection and needs to be emptied after every use and this is difficult to do if you have a small hand span. Probably should have stuck with my instincts and bought a Dyson stick vacuum.

I love it !!
My first stick vacum which was going to be used just for quick pick ups has now replaced my main vacum. Its so light and easy to manage. Has fantastic suction,, and can be used as a hand vac. The only tiny thing that i don't
Really like is that u need the stand to charge the vacuum, as in the cord has to go into the stand with the vacuum in it. Not in the vacuum itself. But that really is only a minor niggle. I cannot live without it now !!

Happy with the product. If you have a kid, especially baby, or you'd like to make your life easier and house cleaner - this is an ideal product for doing so. Everyday, give your house a quick 10-15 minutes hoover, which will help to maintain premises clean.
Some people sayin, it's not picking up big chunks of rubbish. Well it wasn't designed to do so. You use Hoover cordless stick only to maintain your place clean and dust free, meanwhile you should also use a "proper, bigger vacuum" for your routine cleaning.

Loving this vaccum so far
Replaced my hoover freejet 19.2v with this vaccum. Was abit skeptical at first as i loved my old vaccum, but this has been great and a really good replacement. Love the light at the front, as it makes it so much easier to see the dirt. And like that you can alter the power of the power brushes. I only have hardwood floors throughout my whole house and a big mat in my lounge. Works great on both surfaces. Would recommend to others :)

Great service
I'm very happy with my buy, the guys at Godfreys were so helpful, the vacuum cleaner has been been exactly what I needed. The price was reasonable and they were right with their recommendations. I was also pleased with the way they showed me how to get the best of my purchase.

Great Vac, easy to use.
Good vacuum it is easy to use. Light weight, can do a large house easily. Good on Both tiles and carpet. We have had for nearly a year now and we would never go back to having a normal vacumn I will always go for a stick vacumn. Neg it can get a bit clogged.

Convenient, but poor suction
Very easy to use and battery life OK for a 40 sqm area a couple of times a week. Works ok on lino and when you flip to carpet mode it does ok here too, it Lacks suction though and you really have to push down on the vac in order to get tit to lift even small deposits. The brush gets tangled up with hair/dust pretty quick and its a fiddly operation to untangle it. All in all does the job but could be improved

Hopeless vacuum
I bought this stick vac the end of November 2016. It's a nice looking, light weight and convenient sized unit, but if you want to pick up anything except dust, it's absolutely hopeless. If you move it slowly over the debris it picks up some stuff (eg like flakes of paint or little solid items, you then move the machine back all the stuff falls out again. You can do this 5 or 6++ times and the stuff just goes round and round in the chamber but doesn't hold it, what a useless machine. It won't pick up stuff right near skirting boards I have to...Read more
use the hand held attachment and even then the stuff falls out. I tried it out in the shop before buying but it's set up to work well. UPDATE: August 2017 I had to take the vac back to Godfrey's a few months ago, apparently the cylinder that holds the dust etc. in the hand-held unit wasn't put back properly and that's when all the trouble started with everything falling out. they fixed it at Godfreys but now it's started again with all the rubbish falling out, whatever I do it doesn't help so I'm taking it back again. I want a vacuum that works this is a piece of junk.1 comment

Dont agree with other reviews
It works well, no it is not a Dyson but you get a 2 in 1 and a for a good price. Would have liked it Cheaper. My wife uses this one most of the time now. We don't have a lot of carpet. It is very good for timber floors-it wont scratch them and picks up dog hair very easy. It has a lot of good points and no real negatives.
August 14th 2022 Update: Quite a good vacuum cleaner

from. Apart from that, the machine has been effortless to use. My wife loves it as it is lightweight, easy to use/push and charges up in good time. We have a wooden floor and it picks up rubbish with ease and we also use it on our bedroom carpets. It does not have the power of our bigger vacuum cleaner which is a big strong beast but it can be used anywhere and the beauty of it is that it can be stored away out of sight without taking up a lot of room. I use the hand held piece to clean the car and it just takes some light thumb pressure to release it from the main frame. It has easy to see lights which let you know the level of charge in it. it is easy to fit back in to its charging socket. All in all a good lightweight machine for domestic use.Similar opinion? Doesn't perform.
Same as other review. Dirt falls out when going over uneven surfaces and when switched off. Doest clean anywhere near walls. Disappointed as I paid 299.00 from Godfreys who advertised another brand however they didnt have in stock so was sold this dud. Wouldn't recommend it at all, ineffective plus.

Poor performance
A big disappointment after using a Dyson. Poor suction, it would have been much faster to get out a broom to sweep my small laundry which has crystal cat litters on the floor. It would not suck up crystals along the cupboard. Need to hold the vacuum over the bin to switch it off as dirt & crystals fall back out of the machine when it is switched off. It's difficult to empty & re-assemble the machine.
The detachable handheld vacuum is heavy to hold, the attachments are flimsy & do not fit well. Tried to vacuum my car once and gave up.
Completely frustrated as it was not cheap.
Positive: Has a good light & long battery life and looks good.

Good but not quite what the sales pitch said
Excellent length of charge time, I have been able to zip through the whole house on 1 charge due to the lithium battery.
Love the lights on the front for ease of under bed, under sofa and behind cupboard cleaning.
The fact that the main part of the cleaner pops out easily to become a hand held vac is super convenient and it easily slots back in without drama as well, it also includes 2 small attachments to get to the fiddly corners.
The battery charge lights are clear and easy to see, ulta easy to empty and a dream to manoeuvre around the ho...Read more

My brush roller had lots of cotton on it, and started screaming. Stopped machine, removed cotton and restarted. Still screaming and not rolling. I clean my filter and roller regularly, but had been sewing

Hi Julie,
We would recommend to take the brush out and make sure the bearings are clear.
If you are still experiencing issues we would recommend taking the machine into your nearest Godfreys store for further inspection.

Hi Anne-Marie,
Unfortunately the batteries in this machine are not sold separately, to replacement the battery you would need to replace the whole handvac assembly.
This part can be ordered through your nearest Godfreys store or over the phone by calling 1300 360 845.

as the brushes are clear in the foot part. The staff at Godfreys were helpful when I told them I found it hard to remove the cylinder to empty it and the chap said he could modify it and it did help considerably.
