Still going strong!
We had this vaccum since December 2016.
I will admit that within the first 3 months, we had a break down where a rubber ring came off? We got it repaired as it was still under warranty and have not had an issue with it since. We live in a house with 2 dogs, a cat, and children, it has managed the lot!
Pros:
Great as a daily run around vac
We use it on hard wood floors and hasn't left a scratch either.
The light on it is great as it highlights all the spots that need vacuuming/missed spots! haha.
Cons:
It is not good at sucking up between floor boards or getting a thorough clean like the dysons.
The hand vac is great, but none of the attachments are long enough/slender enough to get into spaces/gaps between and around things.

Shocking waste of time
I bought this about 1 year ago, after 10 months it would just switch off after 5 mins. It had been cleaned and was well taken care of. I took it back and the store sent it to be repaired. 2 weeks later they gave me a brand new one because the other one couldn’t be repaired. After 10 months! - it couldn’t be repaired. I have been using the new one about 1-2 times per week and today while vacuuming the light switched of the suction stopped, brushes in the head stopped rotating- but it was still on! I have only had this new one for about 2 months, if that! I will be asking for a refund. I will now have to go 2 weeks without a vac, it’s a waste of time. Not happy at all.

Totally useless
Not happy. After paying $300 for this stick vacuum its suction is hopeless and just pushes the dirt around the carpet on any selection. I've emptied it, cleaned it all out in every part and it still doesnt suck properly. Taken it back to shop twice in 4 mths. A total waste of money.

No stick vac is actually good, none of them!!
I’ve had three of them, Hoover Ultra Power being the last one and oh boy none of them is good!!! I wonder who invented them ever!! I’ll keep in trying though as if one ever comes good, it will be very useful. Hopefully these makers would one day come out with one thats worth the money you’re paying for it!!

No suction at all after a month.
When i bought it worked okay for almost a month and now it has no suction at all. Container is so small, u have to clean it after 5 min of vacuum everytime. Hairs gets stucked in its brush so have to clean it like after every use. But now i have no use of it because no suction after a month of use like literally used it 5 times in a month.

Good for small areas
I like this vaccum, its light and great ergonomic handle. Great for my home, not suited for bigger homes. Can vaccum upto 45 mins without recharging like some. Has attachments for smaller areas, and a detachable hand held great value.

Wish I had bought this long ago
Very happy with product, it is fairly light, easy to use and manouver around. I have 2 bedroom unit fairly big - carpets and floorboards, I do use it on high and lasts well more than 20 minutes at this level. For me being a senior lady taking it apart to cklean was at fi8rst a little difficult but after couple months I am fine with it. Love it, go get it.

The best Stickvac to buy.
I love vacuuming (I'm a guy) and have and used them all! Dyson (ridiculous, only good for cleaning the car with the powerhead) Volta, Sauber, Meile even K'archer etc.
I needed a stickvac for work, mainly to pick up shredded paper on vinyl and carpet. I took some shredded paper to Godfreys to find a Stickvac that would do the job. Tested lots, starting with cheap and going up in price. Stopped at this one. Wasn't happy with $299 price, but hey - it flaming did the job.
Worked so well I bought one for home! It even lights the way with LED's!

Hoover should be called sweeper that does not suck!
When I first purchased this Hoover the performance was okay, then as you keep using it, the performance declines. I have had this Hoover for 4 months and glad I'm glad I wrote a review after 4 months, it now does not suck anything up only sweeps it around and around the carpet or floors the hand held vac that pops off is useless, sucks nothing. My filters and everything are clean and are not clogged but still will not vacuum, When you vacuum the capacity of the dust/debris holder is so small that you can only vac for 10 minutes then need to ...Read more
empty and attend to the foot brush and clean. Not suitable for pet hair we have a long haired cat and I asked Godfreys as Noosaville for assistance and advised it was for carpets, floors and I have a cat, Godfreys recommended this Vac. The foot of the vac has a prickly brush that gets clogged with human hair, debris, threads etc and you have to used scissors to cut off all this after you have used it otherwise it will not vacuum a thing from your floors. Hopeless stick vacuum. Poor design and poor suction, and poor debris capacity.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Wonderful Vacuum Cleaner
The suction is good. Not too heavy to lift and very easy to plug/unplug. Very ideal for wooden floor and carpet/hard floor and because of its small size it can reach the most difficult part in our house. We bought it for very reasonable price so this product is super worth it. Overall, this product is highly recommended.

Won’t last a year!
We bought this a year ago but has returned it twice as the rotable sweeper stop working. The return and fixing took at least 7 weeks. So in total we only use this vacuum for less than 6 months.
The customer service was quite friendly and helpful tho. Won’t recommend this to anyone unless you looking to purchase vacuum for six months only.

Makes vacuuming enjoyable
Amazing! My mother bought my this after she through my old one out as it didn't stay on longer then 5 minutes, and it become obvious it didn't work properly, because when we used the Hoover the amount of dust that came out of the small amount of carpet we do have was disgusting, the suction is amazing and the battery life is fantastic too. Very happy with this purchase.

Not as happy as I was with the model before this one.
I have to say I’m a little disappointed with my new stick vac. I had the previous model (now discontinued and replaced with this one) for almost 4 years (replaced battery once under warranty) and loved it and even felt it was better than a dyson stick vac which I use at both my parents and in-laws. I thought this one would be just as good or better than the previous version but it seems to fall short. I use this multiple times a day, mainly on wooden floorboards and tiles around kitchen and meal areas.

Very disappointed
Our floors are all tiled and when the cleaner was new it was great but after just 16 months it went to 2 minutes of use. I would suggest to anybody thinking of getting one to be sure of the warranty. If it doesn't last for at least 2 years then think again. This is the second Hoover stick vac' that I have bought and would not recommend to anyone.

Suction Sucks !!..useless on carpets, also the revolving brush continually jams if there is anyone will long hair in your home..very difficult to untangle, same problems to empty the dust container. really wish I had not bought this product, what a waste of money. Not suitable for rugs or carpet.
Suction is OK on hard floors, but there is absolutely no suction on rugs or carpet. I only use it for a daily tidy up and use my Dyson for the big weekly clean. The Hoover has a very small dust collection and needs to be emptied after every use and this is difficult to do if you have a small hand span. Probably should have stuck with my instincts and bought a Dyson stick vacuum.

I love it !!
My first stick vacum which was going to be used just for quick pick ups has now replaced my main vacum. Its so light and easy to manage. Has fantastic suction,, and can be used as a hand vac. The only tiny thing that i don't
Really like is that u need the stand to charge the vacuum, as in the cord has to go into the stand with the vacuum in it. Not in the vacuum itself. But that really is only a minor niggle. I cannot live without it now !!

I love it
Happy with the product. If you have a kid, especially baby, or you'd like to make your life easier and house cleaner - this is an ideal product for doing so. Everyday, give your house a quick 10-15 minutes hoover, which will help to maintain premises clean.
Some people sayin, it's not picking up big chunks of rubbish. Well it wasn't designed to do so. You use Hoover cordless stick only to maintain your place clean and dust free, meanwhile you should also use a "proper, bigger vacuum" for your routine cleaning.

Loving this vaccum so far
Replaced my hoover freejet 19.2v with this vaccum. Was abit skeptical at first as i loved my old vaccum, but this has been great and a really good replacement. Love the light at the front, as it makes it so much easier to see the dirt. And like that you can alter the power of the power brushes. I only have hardwood floors throughout my whole house and a big mat in my lounge. Works great on both surfaces. Would recommend to others :)

Hi Julie,
We would recommend to take the brush out and make sure the bearings are clear.

How do you replace batteries in this product

Godfrey G.Hoover
Hi Anne-Marie,
Unfortunately the batteries in this machine are not sold separately, to replacement the battery you would need to replace the whole handvac assembly.
This part can be ordered through your nearest Godfreys store or over the phone by calling 1300 360 845.
