Fantastic and prompt service
After a postage dilemma (fault of postal service) I never received my goods I had purchased online. After 5 weeks of waiting for the postal service to “investigate”, I spoke to Thory. Not only was he proactive in resolving my problem, but genuine and efficient. He certainly gives hope for the world of customer service representatives in this day and age and I am very excited to finally receive my products! Thanks you.

Great Customer Service
There was a need to contact customer service following the delivery of my order. I spoke to Thory. He took accountability for my issue, addressed it and came up with a solution to rectify the problem. Thank you Thory for amazing Customer Service, you did not drop the ball. It was lovely to speak to a person who was customer focussed.

Excellent Customer Service
After receiving my order from House I discovered a problem with one of the items after first use. Emailed House a photo of the problem then rang and spoke to Thory. What a great representative for House! In one phone call he emailed all the necessary documents for returning the product and arranged a replacement. He was quick, efficient and pleasant to deal with. Very pleased with House.

Amazing customer service!
Thory was incredible! I stated that we were missing a few pieces from our overall order, and within a few hours I received a response saying that the missing goods were on their way! I was so happy and appreciative to have received this news and grateful as well as Thory treated it as an urgent delivery.

Warranty replacement - Baccarat iD3 Hard Anodised Saucepan With Lid
Rang Thory from House, WOW absolutely fantastic Customer Service. I explained what happened my iD3 saucepan base that I approximately brought 8 years ago, I was asked to email in a photo as I did, see pic below. I have been contacted by Thory again to tell me that I will be receiving a brand new replacement free of charge. Absolutely one happy customer with the customer service I received. ''Lifetime Guarantee'' means ''Lifetime Guarantee'' and especially since I didn't keep my receipt after all these years ago. All my cookware is iD3 I will not use anything else. Thank You again Thory for all your help.

I bought 6 Noritake Mugs which were not suitable so spoke to an online consultant called Thory to request a refund . His professionalism and service delivery was made it so easy and his follow up email detailed all appropriate numbers to quote and how exactly go about. All was made so easy in a lovely way, by far the best service I have ever received.

Would give ZERO stars if I could
Horrible consumer experience! Made three separate online orders. Two were fine. One took 6 weeks to get to me. It went from Victoria to Sydney, then back to Victoria, then back to Sydney. Opened the box and there were shards of glass everywhere which went in my hand and under my nails. Have spent over 4/5 hours on the phone to House. First chasing up the product, then trying to get a refund, then again because they refunded the incorrect amount. Hold time on the phone is 20 minutes. Three times it cut out and I had to go back into the queue. Phone staff are incompetent and don't know what they're talking about. Do yourself a favour, shop somewhere else where they care about their customers!

item arrived smashed
Ordered 2 x large 10litre glass drink dispensers and unfortunately one was smashed when we received it. Phoned the helpline straight away. After a 15 minute wait for it to be answered I was assisted by Chloe who was very helpful. While still on the phone to her I received an email from her asking for me to upload a photo of the smashed dispenser. Have done this and it has been processed for a refund. Chloe was very efficient and friendly.

Very Poor response and ability to contact
I purchased an item online last week from House online. It is an expensive electrical item so I thought by purchasing from a company such as House with a strong Australian presence I would protect my purchase. The money was immediately taken out of my Paypal account and an order confirmation emailed. However, that was the last I heard from them. After 3 days I tried to call but couldn't get through. While I understand that it is busy at the moment with Sales, this is unacceptable in this business environment to take over a week to despatch an order and to not provide the ability for customers to easily get in contact with the company. After a week of hearing nothing further from the order confirmation, I rang again and finally got through to someone. I was told that my order is confirmed and it would be despatched the following week - that will be 2 weeks from the time of order. At this stage I will wait until the end of next week and then will be lodging a complaint with Paypal. Very poor response times, very difficult to contact via phone, large delays with email responses and incorrect information on their website with regards to online chat option. Faulty cutlery set.
We ordered and received a Maxwell and Williams cutlery set prior to Christmas. Some pieces were faulty. We now have an incomplete set. We were not offered a replacement as they stated they had no stock. Their webpage showed that they were selling individual pieces but they were not able to replace ours. Still waiting for a partial refund. Extremely disappointed and will never use them again.

Christmas present still not delivered after waiting almost 6 weeks!
So on the 29th November, I ordered my husbands Xmas present and to date it still has not arrived nor have I received a tracking number or one single word about the order from House. The order status on my order when I login says ‘44-Unknown’ which makes me think it’s lost in the system.

Bought a product and paid promptly. It has been 1 month and no tracking number provided. Email and call never answered or replied. Could not ask for a refund as they never got back to me. Had to dispute the transaction with my bank. Do not buy from house.com.au !!!

Warranty replacement
The welds which held the handle on to my approximately 14 year old Baccarat stainless steel frying pan failed. I contacted Joel from House, and after sending him a couple of photos, I received a brand new replacement free of charge within a week or so. I am very happy with the service I received, especially since I didn't have a receipt after all these years.

Best Customer Service Ever
Auspost lost my parcel just two days before Christmas. Shannay was able to act fast and give solutions/answers to a devastated customer. I’m very impressed with her customer service. Do not trust these people
I am currently waiting (and waiting) for a refund. No one answers their phone number - no one replies on their help line.
They quickly take you money then provide no service whatsoever.
Do not use them. Anywhere else is better.

Easy to buy online but still waiting for products to be shipped
Their website is very easy to navigate and buy but that's where it stopped for me. This was my first time buying from House. I ordered and paid for 4 items online last week on 02/12/2019 and the order status still displays "In Progress". I have heard nothing about the items being shipped since completing my purchase. ow or Wednesday latest. But I'm still waiting for House Online to dispatch my order! I have just called their customer service number on 1300 136 936 this morning at 10am several times. Was on hold for up to 15 minutes each time I called and then an automated message saying I have called out of hours! Even though I have been calling since 10am AEST today, Monday 09/12/2019 which is not a public holiday. Their website and the automated message say call between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday which I have! How do I get in contact with their customer service staff? Not very happy that they didn't waste any time taking money but no rush for them to offer any aftersales service. It's no wonder their ratings are so low on Product Review! But instead of going by the poor reviews, I went against that and still bought from them hoping my experience would be better. What a regretful decision that was on my behalf. I had no choice but to email them! Their automated reply email says they'll be in contact with me within the next 5 business days...great! I'm just hoping I'll have what I bought delivered by Christmas and this will most definitely be my first and LAST time I buy anything from House.
