pressure issues maybe with hydrotherm

Hi there I have only got water issues after installing this unit on the 8th May 2020,not to sure if it’s the unit ? Low hot water pressure in whole house, cold water pressure is great any help would be great

The tempering valve that mixes hot and cold water to provide a maximum 50C water temperature at the home. Tempering valves have filters which sometimes block up after a new install, as sediments in the pipes are disturbed. If the filter blocks the pressure will be low on the hot side but fine on the cold side. The second issue maybe a pressure reduction valve has been installed on the hot water line in order to comply with current plumbing standards. If your previous system was older than 10 Years it is possible that a pressure reduction valve was not previously installed. Our recommendation would be to talk to the plumber that installed your HYDROTHERM so they can check these two valves. If you have any further issue or can not arrange inspection by your installing plumber please contact our office on 1300 769 904 and we will see how we can assist with a recommend plumber.
