It's very convenient
Everything is good. I bought a seven seater, I'm surprised to see that you can actually fit 7adults, but do not expect to have boot space..lol.... you can probably fit a backpack after all seats are full. And if you fold all seats, you can put a three seater couch too, so it's that big inside too. It's a v6, drinks a bit too much in urban but for long drive it's efficient, comfortable, reliable, worthy. Overall it's good value.

Great Vehicle (apart from) Spontaneous Cracked Windscreen and Erratic Infotainment System.
I bought my Santa Fe Elite in August 2015. Haven't used it a lot. Currently 16000km on odometer. The following is personal opinion re this vehicle.
The Good Features: comfortable spacious interior, good trim, light responsive steering, handles well, engine efficient & responsive, reasonable economy, but I have never matched manufacturers claims. Good speakers.
The Not So Good Features: Infotainment system has intermittent problem of freezing on startup. Restart sometimes helps or it may suddenly work after 5 to 10 minutes driving. Software in...Read more

3/ Quiet cabin with comfortable ride
4/ 5 years free roadside included
5/ Set price Scheduled services which is very decent pricing
6/ Totally Korean Made
Definitely a good buy for me as I also scored$1000 gift card.

Great Car
Love this car. Handles well. Very quiet considering I have the diesel. Economical to run especially as I do long trips to Melbourne regularly. Plenty of legroom for rear seated passengers and for small kids in third row. I wish to GPS announced road names and not just “turn left at the next roundabout”.

Excellent Car
This car looks and performs so well. The interior and exterior looks premium. If you take the badge of it would be mistaken for a German Car!
However, the since the car is diesel, accelerating from 0 km/h, it kind of struggles. But on the freeway, overtaking with this car, it is a beast.

Very sturdy and secure car
I had purchased santa fe in 2008 and still is functioning outstandingly. Very powerful and sturdy car which had lasted me 10 years till now and I probably can use it for at least another 5 years. Overall I am very happy with Hyundai products as they are cheaper than some competitive brands but much better quality.

AMAZING CAR
Bought the Hyundai santa Fe Highlander in 2016. Great car which ticks most of the big named cars boxes but the design in this car is great and looks nicer tghan the BMW and the internal space is grea, the drives smoothly and when you need power it has it and Hyunfai have come a long way. Love the full open roof. I got the cream interior which looks great and love the cooling and heating seat options. The only negative comment I have to make is the sound due to being diesl from the outside and also the car does not have park assist to leave a tight spot

OUTSTANDING, EFFICIENT SERVICE DELIVERY
I just brought the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Active MY18 DM5 2.2 CRDi it is the best car I have driven in a long time. I have so far only driven it 70 km however it handles the extremely well and is super comfortable and beats my previous car being a 2013 Holden Cruze Sriv hands down. The customer service that Baker Hyundai Wodonga provided was second to none. This car is amazing!
This car is fantastic. Keyless engine, set seat positions for different drivers, seat warmers, leather seats, it’s all amazing!
The interior is black and the dashboard lights up with a blue light which looks amazing.
Ours is a diesel and can take us from the Central Coast NSW to QLD Sunshine Coast on one tank of petrol.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

What a great vehicle
We have owned the santé fe Diesel for 3months and driven 6000ks and we are astounded at how well it drives on dirt/gravel and sealed roads.Recently went on a week away with loads of luggage and pushbikes over steep and undulating roads in wet and dry conditions and We think its the best drive ever,a very responsive engine with positive steering and plenty of space,we also tow an aluminium boat occasionally which weighs 700kilos .Fuel usage around 7.5 lts per 100k without boat and around 10 lts with, the only slight negative is the road noise on some coarse sealed surfaces.

Door actuator
Door actuator should be separated to the door lock assembly so that it's cheaper to replace you only to replace either one. The model that we have is the Hyundai Santa Fe Trail pack 2002 just recently we have a problem on the passenger door that cannot open both inside and out. It's automatic lock and I believe that is the wear and tear it. it cost a lot just to replace it, I believe Hyundai should fix this problem.

Diesel Santa Fe 7 seated 2008
Excellent to drive on all roads gravel through to freeway. No low range gear which isn't a problem as its not a major off-road car. Good auto. Comfortable. Very economical. Handles very well. Wife loves it as do I. No mechanical or upholstery issues. Has 7 seats on mine used on many occasions. Great vehicle in all departments.
Since purchase and to the present day of April 2022 it has been very reliable.
All warranty issues were dealt with well by the dealership. These mostly were to do with the rear passenger door locks which sometimes locked ...Read more

Will never buy another small car again!!!
I actually bought my 2017 Santa fe Elite to drive back and fourth from Melbourne to Bendigo. It drives absolutely amazing and having diesel, it's fuel efficiency is top notch.
I like everything about the interior and couldn't complain about any of it. Having seat warmers when it's cold and memory adjustable seats theres no turning back. Reliability is extremely exceptional and to run it on a full tank at $70 -$75 it will take you 360klm from Melbourne to Bendigo and then back. Love everything about the car!!!!

My first 4wd and would never go back to a small car!
I've owned my Santa Fe for two years now and I love this car! It's a people mover with 7 seats and have made so many memories with the whole family! So spacious and love the comfort on the driver side. When I get in my husbands hatch back now I feel so odd and uncomfortable compared to mine. Highly recommend!

Brilliant SUV with great comfort and excellent performance
Purchased this SUV to tow our camper trailer and it has been great. When not towing it does well around tow and handles well on country roads. Feels solid and comfortable on long trips. The 6spd auto transmission is we ll mated to the 2.2 diesel and always is in the right gear for the task. It even down shifts as your slowing down. The interior has plenty of space and comfortable seating. The Active and Active X models represent great value. Only down side to the interior is the seats could have been a darker colour and the doors scuff easily...Read more
. So far no issues and is a pleasure to drive. Average around 650-750km out of a 60 litre tank around tow. I havent yet had a chance to see what the Santa Fe will return on a highway stint. Although it has been easily to drop to 6.5 litres on the highway. Purchased from Essendon Hyundai who offered outstanding service and were not pushy with a sale.Similar opinion? Good car ecomony of 9.9L/100 instead of 7.8L/100
I have highlander model. Excellent car but little bit expensive as compared to competitor. It should provide capability to automatically stop vehicle in emergency instead of just reducing speed like Mazda new CX 5.The average 7.8L/100km is impossible to achieve. Its not easy to get into 3rd row and less space in 3rd row and not comfortable in 3rd row.

Good reviews. A few issues.
We we're looking at a 7 seater 4wd on diesel. Having read reviews on the net, we decided on this based on price, warranty and capped servicing. Although happy with the support and the car itself, it's been into the dealer on a number of occasions. Issues included replacing a starter unit, replacing two suspension components & being recalled for a minor manufacturing fault. Although all this didn't cost us a cent as it was covered under warranty, it was the inconvenience. Would probably steer away from Hyundai's in future.

Love this car!
This is a great car for the family. We can put three car seats across the back seat (although it would be nice to be able to put them in the back row, but no anchors). We use both traditional and isofix anchors.
Leg room is fine for a tall family.
We ran out of boot space on holidays, so invested in a pod on roof racks. But for day to day i can throw the pram and multiple scooters in the boot easily.
Mechanically never missed a beat and i was suprised how cheap it is to run on diesel.

Flawed car in the long term
We bought our series 1 DM Highlander new. Initial impressions were very good with a nice diesel drivetrain, standard features and great fuel economy. However, long term issues led to having to get rid of ours.
Ride is fidgety and uncomfortable on typical Australian highways (fixed in the revised models I believe). Ford Territory way better in this regard.
Front suspension has very little adjustment so a good wheel alignment on ours was not possible (no camber or caster adjustment!).
Towing capacity 2000kg but we had trouble towin...Read more
g 1300kg without overheating in summer. Radiator is too small. Rear towball weight is also a misery 100kg without upgraded springs. Useless for anything over a box trailer. Towed OK after upgrading the rear suspension but dangerously insufficient engine braking (almost none). Lots of dash rattles and squeaks.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
