Good
Overall this has been a good car, had it for nearly 5 years since new. Have driven it pretty hard and done a fair bit of offroad driving. The engine lacks torque and as it needs to pull quite a bit of weight with an auto box (V6 2.7Lt AWD) it drinks like a fish (13lt/100km) If it sniffs a hill or you have a trailer on, it kicks back a gear and revs like a windmill in a hurricane. Only had some minor issues with it, worse was a transfer case oil leak which was promptly fixed under warranty and a loan car supplied free of charge.
Value for money, seats all fold flat, separate glass hatch opens in the tailgate, good ride on dirt roads, engine sounds nice
Not much torque at low revs, needs a 5 or 6 speed auto, very thirsty when pushed.

Excellent
Best 4WD look-a-like on the road and best value for money at any price, easy to drive and park.Quality is very good and reliability is great. Would buy another one.
Great look, has prescence on the road, high driving position, has all the extras other brands make you pay more for, good all-round quality vehicle.
Disappointing fuel consumption, even when driven conservatively.

Terrible
Looked at for fleet vehicle but reliability issues forced us to look elsewhere. Will not be looking at this brand for the vehicle fleet in future.
Large SUV
handling poor bordering on wooden and non commmunicative feedback for the driver. Warranty coolant problem not fixed deemed unreliable for sales staff. Very poor fuel consumption.

Find out how Hyundai Tucson JM compares to other Midsize / Medium SUVs
Know better, choose better.
Excellent
For $25K you couldn't find a better equiped car (cruise control, abs, esp, traction control, hand rest, sunglass comparment, alloys, full spare tyre, and more). It behaves like a sedan, visibility is good, looks like an expensive 4 wheel drive, etc. I love the auto gearbox, and when the gas is pushed gearbox does a good job at extractin maximum power
Fuel economy, compact but big inside, smooth drive, suspension, practical, sound system
I wish it had 5 speed auto trans

I have a 2004 Hyundai Tucson 2.7 V6, over 200,000km on Speedo, it uses about 20.4 lt/100, not sure what to do. Can anyone help.

Time to trade up. V6 will always use more fuel especially with those kms.
Has it been serviced regularly? Timing belt changed?

How many liters of engine oil needs for 2.7 v6 hyundai tucson 2007 model?
2 answers
Wouldn't have a clue. I gave it serviced every 6 months. Great car.
Just under 5 litres.I do all fluid changes on car and if I leave a around 250-300ml in bottom of bottle it will be at correct level, with enough oil to do a filter change in between oil changes. You will lose this amount only when changing filter and can pour the rest of he bottle into the filter and spin back on.
