Waste of money
Hard to secure with the straps, Velcro is a poor choice as it doesn’t hold when trying to make them tight. Even though I chose specific covers for my vehicle they do not fit correctly
Purchased in May 2021 at Repco for $200.00.

Not worth buying
I purchased a set for my new Rav4, thinking thinking they would be ok. Unfortunately they are very hard to fit and they don't fit properly. Looking at the quality they won't last very long & I will probably be glad to see them go. I would never but these again as they are very average, pay the extra money & get locally made custom fitted seat covers.

Not worth half the money you pay for them!
Purchased the neoprene seat covers hoping they would last longer than the cloth ones, but they are just as bad.
Very poor fit, almost impossible to put enough tension on the tie strings without ripping them off the seat covers.
Went back to the shop where I purchased them from and he said he was aware that they were poor quality fit. Won’t bother with this brand again. Very poor quality for the money they charge!

Fantastic once we fitted them correctly and as they were designed and made to be fitted.
Initially found the base covers hard to secure in place and the base covers seemed baggy and ill-fitting. Contacted Ilana and eventually visited their factory on Hoddle St where the fabulous Lucy showed us that we had it all wrong. Right down to having the driver and passenger covers on the wrong sides. Once Lucy showed us the easy and right way to secure them we headed home and finished the job. We are in love with our covers. They look truely custom made and they are so comfy. Thanks for the fabulous customer experience and wonderful product Ilana and Lucy!

Impossible to fit
I have just spent 1.5 hours trying to fit one seat over to my Hilux SR Ute. The ties meet in the middle of the underneath of the seat and are just about impossible to get to to tie them off. The seat cover itself is ok just the ties need redesigning. Rang Ilana Accessories to give some constructive feedback but they were not really interested. Dont buy these until they redesign them!

Don't waste your money.
Purchased a set for my 2016 Prado and was disappointed that the covers literally fall to bits (see attached pics). If you want a product that you will get more then 12 months out of don't buy these. They also have annoying long strings for tying that get caught on everything. Have tried making a warranty claim (Advertised with a 5-year warranty) with the retailer but have been told this is wear and tear and not covered.
Purchased in May 2021.

Do Not Buy
My covers are just over 12 months old. The driver's seat has warn a hole, as shown in photo. The rear cover never fit correctly around the seat belt, as shown I photo. The stitching split about a week after getting them in the back with very little use. The holes in the back of the rear seat covers where the seat clips when upright, they gold down, do not line up with the clips so they needed a hole cut into them.
They are not custom fit they are just expensive crap!

ILANA tailor made car seat cover for Hyundai Tucson does the job but isn't fantastic
I couldn't justify buying genuine original Hyundai Tucson seat covers made by Hyundai. They cost an eye watering $334.67 for a pair of front seat covers and $487.46 for rear seat cover. That's $822.13 for the set. OMG!
Whilst the rear seat cover does look decent in the picture, I have no clue what material is used on the back, the center fold down armrest / cup holder will no longer fold down. Still it looks decent. The front seat covers however are much worst. They remind me of singlets / gym stringers with wide open sides covering only the ...Read more
middle part of the seat. I totally get that it doesn't want to hinder the airbags in the event of an inflation but I can't see how this idea / design is practical. And this product is advertised as neoprene, waterproof product. Well, it isn't going to be waterproof with such big openings on the sides. The only good thing I see with this front seat covers is perhaps they make leather seat look good creating two tones if you have light colour leather and interior. But then you lose the leather look and I have already been told they move around so that's going to be annoying. I almost sunk my money on the backseat cover given one could get them about $100 off online. But this product is so unpopular that I couldn't find any information / picture on it. And, as far as I can tell, the rear seats are not clipped on like some other Hyundai cars but bolted down making installation difficult. I wasn't going to unbolt the nuts to remove the seats so to properly fit the covers. If I get it from the dealer at RRP price, Hyundai would fit it for me but again, I don't know what the back looks like and it is just too expensive. Therefore, I had to look elsewhere and my eyes landed on this ILANA after market seat covers. Advertised as tailor made cover for Hyundai Tucson 06/2015 to current model although website doesn't spell out it is a ILANA product, just saids tailor made Hyundai Tucson seat covers. It is $169 for the whole set, much more affordable, and free delivery. It is not waterproof but water resistant. Said to be made from micro suede. Yeah, very short micro suede indeed. My old car has suede covers and they are much richer and thicker. The fabric is almost black, darker than original seats and interior colour. Fitting the covers is pretty easy and the instructions are adequate. I didn't have any problem at all. Couldn't fit the ties through under the rear seats of course. Therefore, I'd expect the rear cover to come off requiring refitting from time to time. Will see. I have a towel over the top because my dogs sit there. This is the very reason why I have seat covers, in case they have a toilet accident on the seats. The rear seat covers also have holes in the seat section near the seat belt buckles which do nothing and I feel they may be for older car models.Purchased in April 2021 at FitMyCar for $169.00.

Terrible Quality - Dont Fit
Tried to install these. Instructions some of the worst I've come across and I've put together a lot of flat pack furniture in my day. Covers dont fit properly. Ties on them break when trying to fit.
Returned them same day. What a waste of time. Don't bother with these save your time and your sanity.

A nightmare to fit.....Instructions are not worth the paper written on.
I purchased these in Nov 2016. I know it is ages ago but fitting them is a NIGHTMARE. They are for my Subaru XV, it has leather seats so very hot in summer and the dog just slipped all over the back seat. I fitted the driver one eventually, with a lot of cursing from both myself and my partner - it is hard to get the ties to tie firmly particularly the ones under the seat, stupid idea - also getting the material down the side is nearly impossible. Then eventually did the same with the passenger seat, same process. The driver seat cover keeps sl...Read more
ipping forward so leaving the back of the seat visible; try to tighten it but one strap has now broken. Finally worked out how to do the back - we thought, bench part goes on AFTER removing the seat BUT does not tie very well. As for the covers for the back of the seats, there is no way they can be tied, as the re is nowhere for the ties to go through to meet! The instructions - I use that term very loosely - are totally incomprehensible, and do not tell you what to do or how the ties should go to make a SECURE fit. I purchased these from Stormcovers Australia online, Not their fault BUT if these are tailor made covers ....... Don't bother, goes in the "too Hard box" May be I should have read some reviews first - I usually do! - then I would not have wasted my money.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
will not fit
These covers will not fit my 2014 Colorado total waste of an hour to fit two front seat covers only to find out they will not stay fitted. Do not waste your money on these things. Wont name the store as it is not there fault however they should not stock them. Steve

Don't fit
I bought a set of these seat cover "tailor made" for a Prado. The seat covers are lumpy and loose and don't fit properly ! Don't waste your money on these seat covers, put it towards the proper Toyota made seat covers. Ok, they do cost more, but well worth it.

Does not fit!
Bought a set of off the shelf covers, they were such a bad fit, loose and lumpy, we decided to invest nearly $400 on custom made ones. What a disapointment! They were cheaply made with strips of fabric as tie downs and the front seat covers were too long resulting in lumps sitting above the seat. The back seat, too wide and a strange zip in the arm rest that left a flappy piece of material when the arm rest was in use. Very loose fit, we were lucky enough to have ordered them from a store, they gave us a refund and sent them back to Ilana.
I wish more people had posted reviews as I would not have wasted my time ordering and trying to fit this rubbish.

Tailor Made - to a point.
I bought a set of Fully Tailor Made Car Seat Covers (ILANA brand) from Motoquipe Online to fit a 2016 Honda CR-V VTi-S, they are advertised to suit a Honda CR-V Wagon RM VTI / VTi-S / VTi-L / DTi-S / DTi-L 11/2012 - ON. Upon trying to fit these seat covers it was obvious from just trying to fit the drivers seat cover that these seat covers are "custom made" to suit the 2016 model Honda CR-V VTi-S, the part/s that are not tailor made are the ties for tying off of the seat covers.
First off the Honda CR-V VTi-S 2 x front seats have a flap of m...Read more
aterial (approx. 200mm long) on the bottom rear that extends down behind and under the seat cushion this is attached to the bottom of the seat frame by 2 x elastic straps, in doing so this prevents the tying off of the backrest seat cover straps in the obvious manner and the fitting instructions do not tell you how too either. The fitting instructions only show the location/s of the ties on the front & rear covers. The Fitting Instructions state: Step 1. Remove head rests where possible, fit the Back Rest section over the seat, ease down and cover until you have a snug fit. Feed strips through the back of the seat. Step 2. Pull seat cover down over the seat until you have a snug fit.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
