IUM Strata (Independent Unit Management)

My dealings with Melissa have been great. She is efficient and reliable and courteous.I also give this rating because of helpful former strata managers. They were always good to deal with.

[name removed] is great, she is very professional, always responds to me, and is very patient having to deal with so many different personalities in our complex. Keep up the great work [name removed].

My rating was ok and that is more on the IUM processes as they are dated, and also past strata managers. More realistic quotes for work in our complex would be appreciated too.

Strata Manager lacking tolerance at meeting and always want to rush off. Need re-training bearing in mind Australia is a multi-cultural society.

Good management of a property requires on-site knowledge and understanding of the issues. If a minimum number of owners are on the committee, strata managers need to be more in touch.

I feel the workload on strata managers must be very high, I say this because it takes too long to get things done. I would also like minutes of meetings sent out the week after meetings with timelines on items discussed. The Strata managers are all lovely pepole,and very pleasant to talk to.

We have been with IUM for as long as I have lived in the complex. Emails are responded to quite quickly. Phone services can be sometimes a bit hit and miss with responding. Emily is polite and neutral when dealing with complaints. We have had quite a few strata managers, but have found Emily the best by a long shot.

My complaint is the payment options. I have no account with CBA nor internet banking, therefore it is a hussle for me to withdraw funds from my bank account and go and queu up at CBA with the cash in hand. At leastr IUM should cater for a Direct Debit system from a credit card account.
