Ferris arrived has my aircon wasn’t working. have a few moments he was able to determine the cause. After a service he was able to get my aircon working again and able to cool the house down again.

Called for block drains, once inspection was done it was said a camera and hydro jet were to be used to clear blockage, however didn’t work and cost over $800 .

Ali came to put in a new mixer tap in my kitchen. Very helpful, tidy and quick service!
I was to get an appointment booked in a timely manner. Will use this service again.

Prompt response to call out. Phoned ahead to keep me informed. Stayed until the job was completed (this meant to 9pm on a Sunday night). Cleaned up afterwards as well.

We had a fault with our tank hot water service with solar booster, which was unable to be fixed. Jim's Plumbing quoted $4.6K for a replacement system, being an instantaneous gas hot water service. Having no knowledge in this area, and trusting the quote would have been fair, we paid the price up front and service was completed on same day. HOWEVER, we have since done our homework and realised this service should have cost somewhere between $1400-$2000!!! 125% mark-up, well played Jim's Plumbing! Can't say how happy we are with David's work. Battled rain and wind when outside and was determined to get the job done on a very old replacement of taps. Excellent work

Problem solved with one phone call. Had no hot water ferris arrived and was able to get my hot hot water going again after waiting 3day for another company to arrive. Very happy woth Joms plumbing

Upon noticing a water stain in the the bedroom ceiling, I engaged David from Jim’s Plumbing. David did an excellent job in ascertaining and resolving the issues that I enquired about.

All my problems solved and professional advice given all drains were blocked and overflowing .issues dealt with . David Watson was helpful and explained the problem and was able to fix it

I have a hot old hot water system, which has a header tank in the ceiling, and it was leaking through the ceiling inside my house an overflowing outside, I called Jim's plumbing the young man came out cost me $135 4 call-out fee, he had a look said it was going to cost me thousands of dollars, and left, the next day I called another plumber he came out, and pulled the header tank out soldered it up and put it back all done less than $400 with 4 hours work so what is wrong with Jim's plumbing, very poor worker results never again. Got charged $160 for a call out fee then quoted $790 for a simple dishwasher installation when the guy arrived -Just to attach hoses.I said no and did it myself.This was almost the cost of the d/washer itself. Stay away unless money is no object. Oh and they won’t tell you the cost of the “fixed rates” over the phone. You’ll get a nice surprise when the guy comes around.

We had a blocked drain in our backyard and decided to call Jim's plumbing given the big brand and reputation, however turned out it was the worst decision ever made. They sent 2 junior and very inexperienced plumbers over, who had no idea how to investigate the blockage and find the root causes. One plumber even scratched the inside of our toilet when he used hydrojet down the toilet pipes, which was completely unnecessary. Just needed 2 taps replaced and they quote me $750! Spoke with other plumbers and $200 is the going rate. Please don’t waste your money on this rapacious bunch.

On Saturday following a big storm we discovered that our hot water system was leaking (we’ve only lived here 3 weeks).

We called Jim’s plumbing & their plumber arrived at 8pm, spent under 5 minutes looking at it before telling us it was complete cactus & would need to be replaced.

He quoted $3,739 on top of the call out fee.

Was very happy with the service provided by Junior did an outstanding job locating and repairing a water leak for my elderly parents, working into the night to finish, never complaining.

Had problems getting a tradesman to fix my shower leak. When I called Jim’s plumbing they were able to come straight away within a couple of hours. Excellent service and highly recommended will go back to them again and again.

I required a straight swap over of two toilets. Just an upgrade. Everything in place. House built in 2003 so modern. I wanted to choose my own toilet suites - something more upmarket. Was charged $132 call out fee. Had a blocked kitchen sink and the bath tub tap wasn’t working. The two jobs costed us $1438! We were given the quotes first but the technician didn’t guarantee the cost of the bath tub tap issue. That if he had began the work he might find a bigger issue and it may cost us more. We already spent money on the call out fee so we went ahead and it was less than 30 min work. Was quoted $1000 for a new kitchen sink mixer to fix the leak. We couldn’t afford that as well so did not go ahead with it. Could not believe it costs this much.

$132 to walk in the door. They want to charge $990 for just disconnect the hot water unit! Then I find anther plumber $150 have it done. Do not think of calling them.

I wanted to install 2 handheld bidets and reached out to these guys. They charged me $130 just to visit property and give quote for work. He gave me quote of $3000 just to install 2 bidet. Hopeless people. These guys are just there to loot you.

Absolute rip off. $130 to walk in the door and take a couple of photos, then want to charge $930 to change a bath waste. Also had previous experience with Metropolitan Plumbing to try and get an air conditioner fixed and had the same issue, now i find they are linked companies
