Rubbish
I bought the Kambrook skillet yesterday and tried to cook bacon and an egg. There is a problem with the thermostat. Eratic temperature. Does not get hot enough to cook an egg! I see other users have had the same problem. I have other Kambrook appliances and they have given outstanding performance and reliability.
Purchased in March 2021 for A$49.00.

Some good, some bad
I bought this some time ago, and have found that it cooks everything really well. My item does not have the same uneven cooking issues that some others have mentioned. What it does have, though, is a problem with the lid. The top handle deteriorated and cracked really quickly, at around 6 months, piece of plastic began falling off. Its still usable but disappointing. I did look at the Kambrook site to see if it was possible to get a replacement but could not find any info relating to parts.
Purchased at The Good Guys Physical store for A$39.00.

No response from Kambrook Customer Care
I purchased this model over a Sunbeam model because I have bought other Kambrook products previously and have been happy with them.
I used this item once and the coating came off when I only used a timber utensil. I emailed Kambrook and they didn't apologise, let alone get back to me. Difficult for me to return to the store due to disabled needs and inconvenience issues. Seems some companies these days just do not care.
Also, it doesn't cook evenly. It seems to only heat in the area where the power 'prong' is inserted / placed. This resu...Read more
lts in you having to pay far too much attention to turn, relocate or stir what you are cooking so it doesn't burn or overcook around that particular area (when the thermostat turns the unit back on to heat). The old frypans had something similar, but at least the heat was spread evenly over a greater area of the cooking surface. Kambrook I am not interested in an exchange of this less than adequate product.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Thank you we ended up buying a Kambrook skillet pad from Good guys but the new model had no lid which is a bit disappointing. Anyway such a good little value product never the less. Cheers Shirley

Disappointed
This skillet doesn't heat evenly. One side cooks very fast while the other side barely cooks at all. Tried to return for exchange, and retailer didn't believe me. Told me to go and do a video showing the problem! Then they said someone had returned one earlier in the day with same problem! Why wont they believe me? Not happy with product or retailer. Now I have to find time to do video and go all the way back to shop!

Omelette supreme
Eggs and omlettes are done to perfection on this....every time!. For cooking breakfast that you can walk away from and be assured it will be done just right. Have also done pancakes with no problems no burnt edges. I would recommend this pan to anyone who needs to cook these items.

What a waste of money
I bought one of these and have used it twice. It doesn't cook at a constant heat. It's a bit like a microwave, if you put it on low it'll blast away for 15 seconds, then nothing for 30 seconds etc, etc rather than a constant low heat. I put it in my rubbish bin today, best place for it.
