Steer clear of Kresta. Six months and counting for Kresta Fyshwick to finally deliver what they promised.

Read moreshop to look at them. She measured up so quickly that none of the blinds ended up fitting but more on that later. We made two separate orders with Kresta. We signed the contract for the first order on 20 January 2022 and made full payment. At this time, we were advised by the sales rep that we could expect to have the blinds installed within 4-6 weeks. After 6 weeks, I contacted the store via email asking for an update. I was told the order was still 2-3 weeks away. Finally, after nearly 11 weeks, our blinds arrived. Of the three sets, not one fit properly. They were all remade and several weeks later, they were installed. One set was installed incorrectly so that it was on an angle and with black scuffs across the bottom rail. The installer later attempted to fix the issue, however his “fix” meant that the transparent and blockout blinds were not aligned and about 1cm of the transparent blind was visible down the left side of the blockout blind. The material was also damaged due to the original incorrect installation. For a second time, this set of blinds had to be remade and we are still waiting for them to arrive nearly six weeks later. We signed the contract for our second order on 10 February 2022 and made full payment. At this time, we were advised by the sales rep that we could expect these blinds to be installed within 3-5 weeks. We were of course later advised that the first order had been delayed, so on 4 March 2022, I sent an email asking when we could expect this second order to arrive. No one bothered to respond. My partner then called up to get an answer and was advised that we had been told incorrect lead times by the sales reps and the lead time for orders was 6-8 weeks. After about 12 weeks, the second order arrived. Once again there were issues as only two of the five sets fit. The chains for each of the two that did fit were installed so high I had to stand on tippy toes to open/close the blinds. When I queried it with the installer, he said “oh yeah I did wonder whether that was going to be an issue.” Seriously?!? The last of the five sets was finally installed about six weeks later and again, was incorrectly installed so that it is on an angle. Despite 3+ attempts to contact Kresta and query when this blind will be fixed, I am still awaiting a response nearly five weeks later. Kresta have been difficult to deal with throughout this process, making no attempt to notify us of delays along the way or offer an apology (until specifically advised of this). In fact, on two occasions when I was speaking to Kresta staff over the phone about the delays, I was laughed at and made to feel silly for expecting they would follow through on what they promised. My dealings with head office have been just as bad to the point where they don’t even bother to respond anymore. I did ask for a full refund so I could engage the services of a more reputable business, however Kresta refused, instead opting to deliver subpar products well outside of their advised timeframes. They did end up begrudgingly refunding the $234 fitting fee due to the blinds not being installed within 14 days due to having to be remade.- Product Quality

All of the blinds have frayed and they are under warranty but no one will confirm replacement after 11 months of telephone calls. They will not return calls, will not confirm if they will replace or reimburse. Disgraceful!

My advise is DON'T use Kresta Blinds they are not worth the stress or time. On the 27th October 2020 I placed and fully paid for a Vernerian blind for my TV area and was told then that there was a waiting period of 6 weeks before the blind would be installed. 7 to 8 weeks had passed and I was still hadn't heard from Kresta Blinds to organise a installation date. Read more Christmas and New Year, great, I finally get my blind. Yes, the blind was installed but it had been measure wrong and was 100 mm to short length wise. Hey as Kresta so happy stated at least I had something up at my window. Another order was placed and again I was advised it would take 6 weeks. It took until the end of March and repeated phone calls and promises from Kresta that the blind would be installed shortly before the blind was installed. Yah! they gave us a rebate but for the stress and phone needed it wasn't worth it. Oh! the blind the cord that changes the angle of the slats is so short you have to stand on the lounge to reach them.

Myself and my real estate agent found it incredibly difficult to contact Kresta to book in repairs. It took over three months for them to send someone just to confirm that the issue was not covered by the warranty. Even this required calling numerous times.

Terrible and worst ever customer service. Please do not go to them as we being an existing Kresta customer.
Worst customer service ever I have seen. Ordered shutter in May 2020 and still haven’t got them installed. Repeatedly called and no actions taken. Full of promises given and nothing happens. They won’t give proper discounts or take accountability of their service but keep delaying the order. Never ever ever go with them. Even if other blind company are expensive please go with them as I have personally seen the orders delivered. We are being treated terrible.

I understand errors can happen but it is how Kresta has dealt with the error that makes me feel disappointed as a customer. It should not have taken the amount of phone calls that have occurred this week to arrange for someone to view my curtains. Hopefully Kresta will fix the problems with the curtains this week.

Didn't turn up for our first scheduled quote. I rang to see what was going on and they eventually returned my voice message to advise the person had quit the day before. I should've gone with my gut and found another company.
2 weeks later we had an appointment for a quote. They quoted for two windows, one window required 2 blinds due to the size. Was happy with quote, paid a 50 % deposit the next day. At first they only offered us two times in a fortnight they could install. Neither worked for us and I explained I didn't feel this was 'priority installation as promised'. Then agreed on a day later that week. Installer arrived 40 mins late. He installed the dining room blind and then advised us that the kitchen blinds he had were the incorrect size. He obviously noticed that when he walked in the door and saw our large window and the small blinds provided. He decided to install the first blind before advising us that the other one was incorrect, therefore starting the job. We had to chase someone from the Canberra office after we hadn't heard from them that morning, I'm sure the installer would have contacted them to advise the blind was incorrect. I left a voice message and followed up with an email a few hours later. They finally contacted me and said they would have the blinds remade and tried to make it the fault of the original measurer - it was a factory mix up. We advised them that we had already waited over 10 weeks for a blind. This window had no coverings and we were desperate for the blind. We insisted we wanted a refund. They said they would come and install a temporary blind while we waited for a replacement. We aren't able to keep taking time off work for appointments - we just want our money back and will go elsewhere (local not China made)- Product Quality

We had a whole household fitted with roller blinds, sheer curtains and drapes just under two years ago. We were happy at the time with the service in terms of the consultant who came over to measure and advise, the delivery (6-8 weeks) and the fitting. Read moreder warranty. I asked for a technician to come over and have a look to figure out the problem. They agreed, but then instead offered to send to me a new track that I would have to fit myself. This was ridiculous as there is no way that I would be able to uninstall the existing system and install a new one. And I wasn't sure that the track itself was the source of the problem. So instead I contacted Kresta head office via the webpage and was diverted to the QLD office. After some more back and forth, they arranged for a fitter, Kevin Butcher, to come over and have a look. Kevin took all of 30 seconds to identify the issue and provide a solution. There was nothing wrong with the track itself, rather the fact that it had draw pulls and extender arms that had warped due to the weight of the drapes. The lesson to be shared is that heavy drapes such as ours are best fitted as hand or stick pulls and without extender arms to overlap. The draw easily by hand or stick, and do not need extenders as the fabric naturally meets in the middle and overlaps. Kevin quickly removed the extender arms and the draw pulls, and lubricated the track with Silicon Spray. The drapes now open and close easier than they have ever done. This was a quick fix and I am very happy with the outcome. My impression of Kresta is that the product is good, and the fitters are generally very good (I rate Kevin as excellent so if you are in the Canberra area, try to request him specifically). The office staff in Canberra seem a bit hit and miss in that they lose clients in their system and don't seem to want to provide any followup. Alisha in the Canberra office in particular was less than helpful in terms of refuting our claim being under warranty and then following up with the suggestion of sending to me a new track to fit myself. Overall - I like the product, the fitters are good, but keep all your receipts and emails in the event that you need to make a claim! Head office is supportive, but the local offices seem to be variable.- Product Quality

Great end products and the price is quite reasonable. The whole process was smooth I had no problem with it. I would highly recommend their curtains they are beautiful and stylish.

I have used Kresta on a number of occasions and on each occasion it took 3-4 months to receive the product. I also usually received 3 different accounts for each purchase. The installers were good but due to the fact that they are manufactured in China will never use Kresta again. The people in the office also need to talk to each other and I usually received 2 calls with different times for installation. Pity they can't make their products in Australia.
