Heaps of room and the kids can use the ice and water dispenser and no more water spills all over the bench from trying to fill from a jug. It's a good stainless as well. Cleans well with a stainless cleaner solution. With the 5 doors you can have a lot of variety for where to store different items as well as adjustable shelves.

I love this fridge! Maintains great temperature in all compartments. Best part is it is super quiet and there's room for everything. I love that the freezer is two doors with drawers inside and not just two giant drawers that you find these days. Makes finding what you're looking for so much easier.

Love the French door fridge. It has lots of compartments.
The settings are very easy to use including the water and ice maker.
The fridge is very quiet and maintains a good temperature throughout.
The freezer compartments are the perfect size. And are very smooth to pull out and back in.

Wanted to replace ablack Kleenmaid French door fridge no longer available so got the black stainless. Looks gorgeous when clean but won't lie.... finger marks show but easy to clean up. Polished surface so fine scratch alreafy from something on my cloth when wiping it over. Love the wide shelves and half door for milks and frequent use stuff. Not much height inside fridge though...half of one side can slide back which is enough for us but a big family??
Freezer drawers are great...Very spacious and easy access to all shelves. Good size door ...

We bought this fridge from Costco mainly to satisfy my American partner's burning desire to have ice and cold water on tap. It is quiet and powerful and the freezer configuration with two doors and pull out drawers is very functional. Makes ice and cold water well and has an easily changed water filter. The plastic and fittings feel solid and made of thicker plastic so I expect them to be durable over time. It is also very well lit so there are no dark corners. Overall I like this fridge however I have a few areas where I think there's room for...
Read more improvement. It has may good features you can read about on the LG site so I'll just focus on the annoying things for other buyers to consider. 1. I'm not a big fan of fat doors but that seems to be part of the deal with fridge door ice makers. As a result the doors are quite heavy and have a tendency to slam if you don't carry them shut. I would like to see a soft close mechanism built into the door hinges to help with this. 2. LG like many manufacturers don't fill me with confidence that they have ever tried to fill their fridge with Australian stuff. The right door has a second small door in it which you can open to take out your milk without having to open the whole door. Problem is, more often than not I open the whole door anyway as I'm usually taking out the milk and the jam or eggs for breakky etc. The door shelves in the right hand side are partially enclosed from the inside so if you try to take out your 3l milk bottle from the inside is it very awkward as the hole seems not much bigger than the bottle and if you have three bottles of anything to fill that shelf its practically impossible to easily take out one container without wrestling with everything in the compartment. Its just too tight and small and unfortunately its the only place in the fridge for a tall bottle. It's like they don't really want you to remove stuff from the inside so you might have to open the main door then make another trip though the little door!?? 3. Fridge height. The trade off for that great freezer is a fridge that isn't actually that useful. The thick door mean you have to reach deep in to grab things on the main shelves. Also due to the height of the freezer (and the knock on effect of shortening the fridge space) the three main shelves are all quite short and there is basically no room for anything tall. LG have made a small and clever concession by making the right side of the middle shelf split so you can push the front half of it back over the rear half to effectively create an area on the bottom shelf (about 3 x 1.125l soft drink bottles) where you can sit tall bottles. But now its hard to use the rest of the shelf behind the bottles without having to move the bottles. With regards to moving the shelves, say, to make one area taller, LG have chosen to limit the shelf adjustment somewhat. 4. Door handle position. This is just a personal thing but I find the handles are not that natural to use. From an aesthetic viewpoint they look great as you really cant see them looking at the fridge. The pull handles are ONLY on the underside of the main fridge doors (and the top of the freezer doors which is ok). You have to hook your hand underneath to open. For a tall person, there is not similar handles on the tops of the doors. Also, DONT hold the vertical part of the door as you close them as the gap is perfect for crushing your fingers or thumb and it hurts ALOT. I think I prefer one of the Samsung designs there they have recessed the handles into the vertical centreline of the doors. That is a much more natural action and no chance of jamming your finger when you naturally grab the middle of the door to close it. In truth I would have happily looked at other 4 door fridges such as the Hisense, Sharp, or Samsung but this one was a run-out deal, reduced price at Costco for approx $2000 so we grabbed it.- Date Purchased

Love this fridge, my partner and I looked for months to find the right fridge for us and this one ticked all the boxes. we loved the fact that we can have chilled filtered water all the time, and the fact you have open both doors and have so much room for everything in your fridge. The freezer is awesome I love the pull out drawers. ONLY thing I do not like is that we have to replace the water filter after 6 months

We had an lg fridge /freezer for 16 years no problems ever, it is still working perfectly and dispensed cold water continuously .
This one doesn't dispense cold water after first glass
we live in hot area and the main reason for getting this was the water
I'm finding it hard keeping it pristine, continuously wiping prints off, any hints ?
The left door does slam and we have to check that the fifth door shuts properly, I think the latch might become a problem
I do love the easy access of all areas, especially the drawers in the freeze...

We only just purchase this fridge but so far so good. It looks stunning, and the water/ice machine is great. I prefer having the freezer section down lower. It’s very quiet, occasionally you hear the ice but not often or loud. We adjusted the freezer temperature as it seemed a bit less frozen than desired, but no issues after that. You do get the occasional mark on the front but it’s easy to clean and doesn’t show up a heap of finger prints.
We got it from Harvey Norman and had them price match a better deal before it was delivered- it’s great they offer this even if you’ve already purchased, just has to be before they deliver it.

I am very happy with this purchase. I find it to be consistent in temperature both in the freezer and fridge. It is quiet except for when the ice machine refill it makes a little noise but otherwise you wouldn't even know it is running. I love the ice and water dispenser, use it everyday maybe this is why the filters have only lasted just under a year.
Pros:
Maintains temperature.
Utilizes every space for storage.
Good size just fit into our space.
The quick access door is handy.
Looks great.
Easy to adjust temperature.
Ice and water dispenser is amazing.

We've purchased this french door fridge recently since an old samsung fridge was totally out of order. Definitely much better than samsung one in the fact that ice maker is much slimmer. It gives more space foods can be stored. And also 2 divided freezer is excellent. Draws are very efficient to stack up stuff. Just one thing I don't like about is the left side door is a tad heavy due to an ice maker compartment. It makes the door slammed a bit when I close it.

Hi all, my opinion on this model is that it's bloody awesome ha ha ha. Roomy, chills amazingly, freezes even better. Keeps food lasting longer I've noticed ever since I purchased it. Apples and oranges, veggies etc last week's with blemish to them. Saves you throwing out UN eating foods and saves you space by its wide door shelves. Extra room means extra drinks to add :)

Very Quiet and only makes sound when making Ice Cubes.
Lot of space and can dissect the fridge into many areas. Good Temperature maintained.
Lot of compartments and to clean the whole fridge will take long. Overall a good fridge and stylish one with modern stainless steel look. Power Rating moderate.

The fridge itself is great. Love the wide open spaces, love the freezer drawers. However.... what you are paying the big bucks for in this fridge is basically the cold water and ice machine, and that doesn't represent good value. The chilled water only chills enough for one glass at a time, so is absolutely useless in hot weather. And it takes an age to fill your glass - very very very slow flow rate. Better off going with the cheaper version that doesn't have the chilled water.

This fridge has provided ample room for all the food my family of 6 could possibly want. There is space, space and more space. The door in door functionality is actually very useful for accessing things quickly and not just a fancy gimmick. Temperatures are always very well kept and adjustable shelves etc have made life very easy!

Fridge is really well lit and a great size. Door shelves are deep and can hold a lot.
Freezer is perfect. Shelves that slide out are great to get to the back of the freezer.
Only issues is the door panels. Regularly have to clean it for the kids finger prints and the doors are very thin panels and can dent quite easily as I found out on the first day of owning it.
Overall a great fridge, only owned for 2months, but been great so far.

I did a lot of research before purchasing and we're very happy with this LG fridge. The door-in-door was the main feature that drew us to this model and it works really well for us for drinks access. We've had no problems with temperature and don't find it noisy. Love the water and ice feature (plumbed in), don't have any issue with it spilling (some reviewers seemed not to be happy with it) just need to place your glass properly under water hose/ice shute. Find the french fridge doors and long shelves ideal for platters of food for parties....
Read more Also the freezer double doors are great for easy access and bins/shelves are ample and it has good lighting (our last freezer had no light)....my mum has similar fridge but drawers for the freezer part and they are really painful, feels like you're doing a double action having to open the drawer and then another drawer inside to access whereas the double doors are far better. Yes the stainless steel outside shows finger marks a lot but I've found using a microfibre glass cloth, "White Magic" brand, does the trick. All in all we are very happy.- Date Purchased

Fridge and freezer seem to keep the required temperatures well. We haven't needed to altered the setting from factory. The unit is quiet except when dumping ice which is to be expected. Cold water is a bit slow to fill but about how I expect after seeing the diameter of the water supply tube. The alignment of one fridge door was out but easily adjusted as per the instructions with the supplied spanners. We removed one left hand half shelf to give more tall bottles storage that works well for us. There is no egg holder as per every other ...
Read morefridge I have seen. Looking at the instruction book, they suggest using the bottom of fridge storage compartments with glass lids. I actually like the eggs stored here as there is no possibility of breakage and easy to see how many eggs are left. Love the door in door feature (one of the selling features we used to decide) Overall very happy with our choice.- Date Purchased

The temperature is perfect and easy to change on the digital display on the front door.
It’s quieter than most ice fridges.
The ice fills back up pretty quickly too.
The slim ice box design gives more space inside the fridge itself
Easy to wipe down and clean - most parts are removable

The fridge is great, the lighting inside is terrific and the storage is perfect.
I am a little dissapointed with how long it takes for water to cool down in the internal water dispenser. It seems to hold only 3 glasses of water and then the water comes out tap warm.

Best purchase ever made. The plumbing makes it so much easier to get ice or cold water. It’s rather spacious and there’s enough and more room in the freezer section for all meat and dairy products. The milk door is actually fantastic to grab milk or juice without having to open the entire door.

We got this fridge because we were worried about fingerprints as the stainless model was always a mess when we looked at it in the shops.
After less than one year the black stainless finish started rubbing off on the edges.
Food always freezes in one of our crisper drawers and the crushed ice spills out everywhere- not into the cup so we can’t use it.
I miss having a meat drawer but not many of the modern designs have them.
It took ages for me to get used to the weight of the door with the panel door - which is the only place for storage of large bottles (behind it).
