Best fridge I've had. Only drawback is the freezer is a bit small but that's similar to other models of this type. I love the french doors and one of the shelves slides back to make way for taller things. I haven't noticed any inconsistency in temperatures and it's easy to clean. It's fairly quiet- not noticeable in our open plan area. Love ice and water on demand!

After so many year of using Westinghouse etc I finally took a plunge and bought LG side by side refrigerator my first LG. At first It was okay and worked fine and I was happy. But only after one year the Ice crusher started playing up and would not dispense Ice. LG sent the repairer twice already where they have replaced the part. It worked fine for couple of weeks and same problem again. First of all I think if the new fridge breaks down within warranty period it should be replaced or maybe after one repair job. I have gone back to The good guys to see if I can get my money back. I will write back again to see what sort of outcome I will have from this matter.
The design.
Ice dispenser does not work

We bought this fridge just over a year ago and love the double door feature with the large storage available as we entertain quite often and have large platters that fit perfectly across the shelves. With the left door it doesn't always shut properly, but once you are aware you just make sure it shuts properly each time and you won't have any problem with the icebox then, as the icebox only freezes up if the door is left slightly ajar. The double drawer freezer function is absolutely fantastic for our family and entertaining needs.

Very disapointed with our new lg fridge freezer. After 4 weeks from new ice box doesn't work properly and ice building up in one side of vegie bin which has continuously ruined vegies because they are freezing and this is inside the fridge. Also on back plate ice is building up more and more weekly. very little point in ringing lg direct as they will not talk to you, maybe if fair go or campbell Live were to ring them they would talk to them.

We originally loved this fridge particularly the easy two door access and the draws for frozen foods and ease of access but then the problem happened after about 6 months the fridge suddenly started making a loud clicking noise like a fan hitting something but not sure what it is. Looks like it was too good to be true the noise is very annoying and we cannot live with it.
