Had problems with an expiring credit card. Took a couple of calls to get good help but Abby in the last call sorted everything out. 5 Stars to Abby and no stars to the previous agent. Been happy with the Lycamobile product for many years now

I recharged once 20 aud it’s get auto recharged every month 2 times. I dont have sim also I’m wondering how to stop it.
Data is too slow so i stoped using the sim and lost sim now but every month it’s getting auto debated i never kept auto debate how could they debate money for the sim which I’m not using only.

the worst!!!
The worst! stay away. the call centre staff have a bad attitude and only change their tone when you give them the same attitude back. they act like they are doing you a favour until you mirror their disgusting attitude. they talk over you, interrupt you, send you around in circles and my phone service still hasn't been connected. these people will only waste your time... the $$ savings advertised are not worth the time lost with these people... go elsewhere.

Terrible customer service.
rude, very unprofessional when i contacted the lyca customer service. and the lycamobile apps is the WORST very hard to use and loading every time when i open the app. i hope they can improve in the customer service and the lycamobile app.

Difficult to start with but then good
Lots of trouble getting it started but then good coverage and no problems until now...they are charging me $10/day as auto top up. Cant get through to CS as it says they have tech issues. Email response took a few days and it still isnt resolved so I will soon speak to ombudsmen

Its a scam they will take money and no sim card would show up.
Its been 2 months that i bought their sim card first it took them 28 days to send one where as there website claims to get you one in 7 days by post but im sure they threw it away with 50 cent post and remarks send it to customer only if you feel like.
And when sim came up it took a whole 24 hours to port my number so it was there system not porting my number and as per their policy one has to activate sim card and then port number after activation you should have credit in your sim...Read more

Overcharged my account. No response or resolution
I bought two sim card with a bundle plan for myself and my spouse. Laycamobile is charging 3 time a months for a monthy bundle. When I tried to call customer care, the customer care number 122 is not working. I tried sending email to their customer care email [email protected], mailbox is full and no response. Sent message on twitter @lycamobile and @lycamobileAUS still no satisfactory response.

Appalling service - both connectivity and customer service
I would give 1 star if I could. My sister bought a new SIM. We spent over 3.5 hours attempting to load a bundle and were then charged double the amount advertised on the website, only to find that the service did not work - despite repeated attempts to follow customer service reps' suggestions of changing different settings. We asked for a refund, were told we had to email, we emailed on 11 April 2020 - and have emailed repeatedly - and have not received any refund or compensation. Abysmal service.

Bad network, hidden exclusions in unlimited plan
I ported in my number thinking that lyca uses same network, didn't realise the internet with them is too poor. It stops working. They promote unlimited plans but exlude the 1800 numbers, how come it's unlimited then? Just waiting my plan money to run out, I swear I would not stay or ever come back to this company. Better off going with Boost or Optus or even Telstra. I they had option to give 0 star I would have given that as well.

terribile i bringed up my number for calls to my country been put on unlimited 20 dol and had bought ten dol extra call overseas croatia line was shocker cutted of charged few times flagfall fee to croatia line was like of all credit of extra money 20 dol gone no able contact family overseas due to covid 19 wrote on messanger to lyca no answers at all will never recomended the company lost money adn unable call and data

Also, coverage was weak in Melbourne suburb & kept dropping out.

Don't buy 50% off deal its a scam.
Recently i bought Lycamobile Unlimited Plan XL and it was 50% so i paid $25 for $50 plan. Sound good so far right? Guess what? They send me the simcard when i activated it. It has nothing on it $0 balance and no unlimited plan is activated on it and now its been a week i am trying to call and email them but all i hear is due high call volume we are unable to answer your call. Never ever never use Lycamobile. They are scammer

Works ok for me
Have had Lyca for about a year now for our second phone and have had no issues with anything. Yeah some outer rural areas get no coverage but neither do many other providers. They offer and deliver a decent cheap service. 10 bucks for unlimited calls and a gig to check a few things I think is good value. Have not had an issue with it in any of the main towns I've used it in Central Vic.

Lycamobile do NOT offer MMS service that all other carriers offer and do not tell you this when you sign with them. They are being extremely misleading with their behaviour.
