Perfect great tasting healthy food
I love the taste of these meals, they take the guess work out of counting my macros and make it super easy to track my diet while enjoying the food
Getting me back on track, deliciously!
Absolutely loving this service! The food is so fresh and delicious, great serving sizes and they reheat super well. The balance in the meals are great and I’m not left feeling hungry. Coming out of lockdown and back to work, my routine got a bit lost so this has been a good kick start to get me back on track. Very happy!

The gold standard for all companies
Perfect portions, even better macro ratios, fantastic flexibility in meals and meal styles (eg. plant based, keto, etc), possibly the absolute best delivery standard; taking multiple pictures of the delivery at the door, driveway, and from the street this should be the gold standard for how deliveries should be done. Got the whole family on it and everyone has never felt better on the clean and wholefood meals. We’ve never had a problem with anything at all. Price is similar to competitors however after trying other companies before this, we are much more satisfied with this than any other.

Really good food!
My daughter is a qualified nutritionist and she recommended this service to me over the one I was considering trying. So glad I took her advice - I am on the weight loss plan and the meals are very filling and tasty. I am already saving money and losing weight. Thank you!

Tasty, healthy, variety, love this food
I've tried a few meal plans but Macros is by far the best, all fresh not frozen, vegetables are not overcooked and soggy like others, individual flavours are exactly as described, doesn't all taste the same, use by dates are a week ahead. Haven't had a meal I didn't enjoy. My only concern is that all the packaging could be reused, seems like a lot of waste.

Worried about my subscription
I've been charged three times for orders I didn't ask for. I bought the first box wanting to try it out on a special. Now orders for two other boxes have occured (over priced) and I'm so worried I can't get a refund for any of it after looking at all the other issues people have had. I don't want the same food over and over and I never got emails prompting me to order. I've cancelled my subscription immediately (tonight) after feeling sick looking at my credit card. I want a refund. I'll engage consumer protection if I have to. I can't believe there is no phone number to discuss direct.

Falls short compared to other services of it's type
My family has been cycling through the different meal services over the last year and a bit. We did a few months of 'YouFoodz', then 'My Muscle Chef' and now 'MACROS'.
Although some meals from MACROS are enjoyable, it falls short in every single category compared to the other two. When you get YF or MYC it's exciting! The box and packaging all look fresh and inviting, even the food in the plastic containers looks decent. When you get your MACROS box it's just this ugly brown box with a bunch of crappy orange wrapped meals...

After eating hundreds of meals from all 3 companies, if I was asked to assemble my top 20 meals across all 3, I don't think MACROS would hold a single place. I generally don't leave bad reviews, but seriously... at least hire a designer and put a bit of effort into your packaging. It's nice to see a picture of the meal on the package, but instead we have to scan the writing.Nice ready meals on the go.
I found all the meals really nice for what they are. Im on the weight loss meal plan and I think the meals are sized pretty well although sometimes I am still a bit hungry after but that's also depending on which meals I eat.
Rip Off, scamming company keep well away.
My wife placed an order 3 weeks ago food was ok but very spicy, decided not to order again. No more food came for two weeks then out of the blue $83 straight out of the account.
rang customer service was told sum crap about you have to cancel your subscription lol what subscription we never got any food sent for two weeks and then the $83 and to top it off was sent the same original food that was too spicy
keep well away they lie and steal this firm should be shut down immediately and be investigated by ICAC

Life saver!
Good sized filling portions, and a great selection no matter what your dietary requirements. Easy to heat and eat and delicious! Also love that the packing is recyclable! Highly recommend!
Scammers
I created an account to scan through the menu to find meals that I liked. It asks you to enter your credit card details prior to viewing their menu (that should have been the red flag) but of course I thought, "they wouldn't charge you until you actually place an order". That's not the case. I hadn't selected any meals, I had not submitted and order, and I found that I was charged. I cancelled it immediately and opened the Chat to confirm that my account was cancelled and I would be refunded. They explained that I would not be refunded as this ...

An initial charge is separate to your subscription cost, yet the charge was the cost of the subscription, and no where did it say 'this is your initial charge'. Their own Terms and Conditions do not state what the initial charge is. It also does not state that you will be charged before even processing an order. I've never worked with another supplier that charges you Before you even look at the menu, select the items, and submit an actual order. They offered me a store credit, which I said I did not want. I requested for my $86 to be refunded. They have said that my request is with Senior Management and I will be contacted via email. I decided to create an account with MACROS yesterday and explore the meal plan options, upon choosing a plan i thought was right for me, I found that I had immediately been charged the plan price and there was no way to change this. I have not selected any meals and requested a refund only to be told that I have to proceed with a plan now as its been charged, when I questioned this further I was disconnected from chat and can no longer log into the account I had created. I don't believe that I was told this would happen when i created the account and started reviewing the options, I also don't believe this to be ethical or even legal? Be very careful when creating an account!

False Advertising & Poor customer service
I was really excited about ordering macros because I thought the food looked delicious and with a $30 discount for the first box I thought why not. When I was selecting my meal menu (sculpt menu) I clicked next to continue to payment and after payment was made it said I had selected "plant based menu"... which I absolutely did not! I then went onto live chat and complained, where i was told "we can't change the plan so you'll have to have it this week and can change next week" which i thought was RIDICULOUS considering I did not ask nor like th...

After going back and fourth for about an hour they agreed to refund me (but within 10-14 business days) and i would have to order again. I did and ordered my ONE box correctly this time. I specially said to the customer service person on the live chat that I only wanted one week and was not subscribing however have just been charged! I have emailed and emailed and am awaiting a response but I better get a refund for this as it is absolutely false advertising claiming to be a subscription base service when it does not say that upon sign up! Used to be good, but now they don't care about the health of their customers
Prior to Macros, I had been eating MyMuscleChef meals for a year and switched due to all of the harsh preservatives, colourants and flavourants which upset my stomach.
Then I came across Macros, which initially offered an outstanding alternative for clean meals with copious protein (without the preservatives). However over time I noticed the meals started tasting differently, with my stomach reacting badly to some of the meals. I then progressively noticed that some of the meals started add flavour enhancers and preservatives (fair enough I g...
Read moreet it the company needs to make a profit). But now literally nearly every single meal on the menu has at least one preservative artificial flavours and/or non savoury food enhancers. To think the company went from nearly none of these additives, to every meal encompassing them is exceptionally discouraging, seeing that it ultimately shows that the company cares more about profit than health. If you're putting these types of ingredients into your body nearly 3 times per day (assuming you eat 3 meals a day), there honestly could be long term health consequences and the company needs to step up to make their meals clean again. I used to be a loyal customer for over a year, but until they go back to their roots and keep their meals clean and actually start caring about their customers again, I will be using other providers which keep the foods preservative and additive free. P.S. On a side note the company also needs to stop switching out meals so often. My favourite meals have gotten removed so many times - you should give the customers the option to pick which meals stay and which go (presumably the nicer meals are removed more often than not to preserve profits I would imagine).Hello Matt,

Read more I can assure you that we do very much care about our customers and their health! While we do not add preservatives or enhancers into our meals, these ingredients are often found in ingredients that we are unable to manufacture ourselves at this time such as vinegar and gluten-free soy sauce. Also, the way the meals are considered for removal is based on how they rate in popularity and/or the availability of fresh ingredients. However, we do often try to add at least 2 new meals once the meals have been removed. Great portions nutritious and no nasty additives! Keeps me in line so I don't get lazy in the kitchen and go for the wrong foods and great price! Keep it up loving your work MACROS

Disgusting meals, horrible customer service
Very watery and tasteless meals. We hate it and they deducted another $200 from our account and re ordered the same crap meals for us. 4 days before delivery day we emailed them and asked to cancel it and return our money and 2 days after they replied back that it’s too late to cancel. There is no contact number to contact and they don’t give a damn about customers.

Very happy with the overall taste of vegan meals! Filling portions, no complaints here. The tracking of the delivery could be better (I had no idea when will I receive my package) and courier left the box outside of the building without even buzzing the door. Could have more variety in choosing meal options - when you choose 10meals you are basically eating the same set over and over again.

Salty and bland
After having read the reviews I decided to try the meals since some reviews were positive. I placed the order then paused my account to avoid a second order going through before I had tried the meals.
I find the meals salty and bland and lacking vegitable variety.
Also a 10 hour delivery window, ridiculous!!

Crap customer service
Don't order from them!
I tried to cancel 2 hours after they took money out of my account, Rachel (rude customer service person) fed me nonsense about they cant refund because they order the ingredients with the chefs straight away & the will lose money.
Their delivery company cant follow instructions on where to leave the parcel, & their tracking is all over the place, example Fri 12th March delivery time is 11pm to 2am, this was updated at 10.20am on the tracking link they send you.
They refuse to give you a refund.
Do yourself a favor, don't order through them, you will have nothing but problems & get rude customer service staff.

Absolutely avoid at all costs - Be warned
As others have pointed out, this company operates almost unethically. Their process for moving through the ordering process charges your credit card almost as soon as you start the order and well before you have selected any food, if you make a mistake, there is no way back and there's very little support for dealing with any error you make (with seemingly very limited senior manager support hours and zero phone support). There are HEAPS of alternatives out there. Explore them. I have.

Great meals and good variety.
Great meals, good variety for all diet types and meals were always delicious. Only downside is you have to order meals a week in advance, once you adjust to this it isn't an issue.

We need to provide our kitchen and production team ample to order and prepare quality meals and deliver them to you on the promised day. This is why we have a week window. :)That's fine, it really isn't a dealbreaker just something that is notable when comparing to other meal delivery services.

Worst service I've ever received
I had to fly to another state for a last minute personal matter and tried to move my delivery date with 4 days notice. I was told they couldn't do anything so now I've wasted $80 and the food is going to have to sit and rot at my front door for days. Have cancelled my subscription after only a week and won't be recommending to anyone!
