Hi Ballsy, I'm not too sure they are useless when it comes to their machines. I had a specific issue with the installation of a shower screen.

Talavou - We have had Masters do our kitchen recently - from the time we went into the store to completion I have nothing but positive feedback. We had the initial consultation instore where we chose our appliances and fittings and then paid a small deposit for the consultant to come out and do a site inspection. That deposit was taken off the final quote. She measured and we discussed exactly what we wanted and then about a week later went back into the store where we had our kitchen displayed on their computer and any adjustments were made/added. The installer then visited on site and everything was reviewed and 3 weeks later work started. The payment was progressive, as one section was finished a payment was made. It went very smoothly, we had a contact of our own for our appliances so we purchased them separately without any hassles. I've had various workmen comment that the finished products was of high quality and I have nothing but positive feedback. The area supervisor visited each stage. As I've mentioned it took 7 weeks but only through my finish choices of benchtop & splashbacks. Had I chosen laminate products & tiles it would have been completed much sooner. It worked out much smoother than I imagined and with a 20yr guarentee on the cabinetry I don't think you would get a better product for the price. I certainly wouldn't hesitate in using Masters again and when I do my bathroom I think they will be my first stop. Hope this helped you.

Well good luck. My sister in law had her bought her kitchen cupboards and her husband had installed it and it looks absolutely beautiful. But I went to Masters for a new gas hot water and paid for a quote and Reece came out to see what they had to do and was going to charge us $2,700 excluding GST and Electrician. If I added the GST and Electrician it was going to cost me $3,200.00 without the rebate from the government Ecco Green which is $750.00 rebate.

I went to a gas appliance shop and I got the rebate of $750.00. Plus their plumber and electrician it cost me $1,400.00. and we got the job done four days later.

Masters rang us 4 weeks later to find out if we were getting them to do the job.

Make sure you DONT have profile range vinyl wrap anywhere near heat, they'll tell you it's Thermally ok .then burn you when it fails . I know, as a builder I've tried the product .
Also beware of any implied WARRANTIES, These will be hand passed to any one who isn't DM of installs .
Lot cheaper to assemble / install yourself, or pay a local handy man .And use your own benchtop / SPLASHBACK people as masters have a 30 % margin, and it takes forever .
Product is fabulous, service after, DISMAL

This may help, in my oven installation manual it actually says: Where the appliance is built into a cabinet material must be able to withstand 70 degrees, installation into vinyl coated cabinetry may result in deterioration of coating by discolouring or bubbling, it recommends an installation kit available from a vinyl-wrap supplier.
