Love it
Zippy little car that responds quickly. We have the sports version so it perhaps uses a little more fuel but still great fuel economy. Love the leather trim in our version.
Only a couple things I don't like..silver plastic trim on inner door handles are very plasticy and super easy to scratch the colour off. Road noise is a little loud and being a small light car I've found it aquaplans very easily in even shallow puddles on the highway.
We absolutely will be buying Mazda 3 again after this one.

Does the job.
Lots of space in all the seats for a hatch back sedan car, and lots of space in the boot. Good features but some of the features annoy me a little for example the i-Stop function always on by default and I have to turn it off everytime i start the car. Blind spot monitoring is good but sometimes it picks up cars from 2 lanes away- not sure if this was intended. Road noise is a bit much, can feel and hear almost everything. Turning circle is a bit bad but expected for front wheel drive cars. Overall it is a good car in my opinion.

Amazing vehicle, will last the test of time
Performance and handling are excellent, as is the fuel economy. Can normally get 500km from a full tank in the suburbs, but far more on the open road (closer to 650kms)
The leather interior of the SP25 is fantastic and the chairs are comfortable for long rides.
My only criticism is the opening of the boot (in sedan). The boot is very spacious, however the opening is quite small. So you can fit lots of small items in the boot, but you wont be able to get bigger items in through the door, despite there being enough room for them inside.

Love my Astina
Love all the extra features of the Astina, sunroof, safety features like lane departure warning, heated leather seats, BOSE stereo system, easy to use GPS, great fuel economy. Smart looking sedan. Only negative is that the engine is a little noisy on start up for first couple of minutes when warming up.

I love my car
This car drives well and I still have the factory tyers on after 42000km, everything about it is easy, it's not complicated. The dashboard is a bit of a heat problem but with the mat its not as bad you just look a bit daggy.
The seats are comfortable but the material is very slippery so I had to get seat car covers.
It is economical even with aircon on. I would have liked an aircon with an extra boost for the hot days but once you get going it becomes very comfortable.
She does mark easy, the trolleys at the shops have left a couple of dents but I suppose all cars these days are easy to dent they are not made of heavy duty steel anymore.
I would recommend this car to anyone I think its value for money.

Great Reliable Car
Great Car to drive, very good on the highway and city alike, great at overtaking. Handles great whether it's Wet or Dry although the 18" wheels with Low Profile Tyres can create a bit of road noise on some road surfaces but it is not an issue for me. Very zippy motor, MZD connect GPS has had issues where I found if you turn the car off and remove and reinsert the SD card it seems to resolve the problem. Happy with the interior and exterior quality of fit and finish.
So far done over 43000 KM, get about 6.4 L per 100 KM on the Highway @ 110 KMH on E10, so far no real issues and Mazda Dealer follows up after servicing and occasionally even Mazda Australia follows up as well.
Very Happy customer, would highly recommend the car.

Love this car
I bought this car from my daughter when she went back to uni. I really enjoy driving it, its low but it's not difficult to get in or out if. It has been reliable, exceptionally fuel efficient and comfortable to drive. It's roomy in the back for passengers as well.

Love the features that comes with it.
I bought the additional safety pack and I would say without that I would have gotten into so many accidents.
The boot is a bit small, but considering it is a hatch I can live with that when i put the seats down.
Only issue is sometimes very rarely, the Navigation system will be buggy and freeze.

Great Features
I own a 2015 Mazda 3. Overall, its a nice car. Great interior. Good space with decent leg room. The Mazda interface is amazing, one of the most user friendly and easy to use systems I've come across. The only downside to this car is the amount of noise it makes compared to other cars. When you start the car, it makes a lot of noise as if I started a lawn mower or something. But then in 30 seconds the noise decreases. The Mazda service centre said this was normal but I'm not convinced. But overall, driving wise, its a great car.

Nice
Its a nice car, a lot of space for leg room.Comfy seating from cushion. Though there is limited storage space on the side door, you can only put a bottle in each.
Car is a little noiser than other car when turning on for a new car. Smooth when driving.
Good system for GPS and music (sound cant be turned off, only muted because of GPS), there is a glitch with the system where safety camera & school zone voice doesnt work and they are still creating the update.

Good Car
Currently own a 2015 Mazda 3 BM MY15 Sedan Maxx Auto.
Currently sitting on 28,000km.
Pros:
- Exterior is stylish and attractive.
- Interior is very modern and material quality is better compared to other makes in same sub-class with same price range.
- Infotainment is extremely easy to navigate and use. Big plus with Sat-Nav easy to read and visual is appealing. Safety camera & school zone warning is a winner. The centre control is a delight to use (rarely use the touch screen).
- Good fuel consumption, based on a refueling full tank of 37-38 litres 98ron, averaging approx 480-500km (70% city, 30% freeway).
- Good handling and turning circle. Smooth transmission and zippy 2.0L engine.

This is a great car
The handling of the car is really good and the control is outstanding. The fully leather interior is a plus as it is easier to clean than fabric car seats. The running costs are low as it average around 7Litres/100km for me driving mostly urban and freeway. Overall I would recommend the car.

Luxurious, stylish, cheap to run.
So far I have had this car for 18 months and I am yet to find any real issues. Mechanically the car is faultless. It drives smooth, no rattles or annoying noises.
Having only ever owned mazdas, I can see the quality of the interior is just as exceptional as previous models I have had. Very spacious inside and is getting better with fuel economy the more I use the car. This was one of the only
Negatives I had. The fuel economy was not that of what it was made to be. Initially when I purchased the car I was lucky to get 400 city driving, now i...Read more

excellent everyday driver
I drive almost 800km every week with my Mazda and I'm very happy with it.
Car handles well, has a nice torquey engine. Leather seats, heads up display, infotainment system and other nice extras on the GT model definitely makes my long distance drive more enjoyable. Issues regarding road noise I think it is way overblown. Only dislike is the relatively high servicing cost charged by mazda dealers.

My mum upgraded from her old Nissan Pulsar to this
As the title suggests, yes it eventually became a purchase for my mum. Her requirements were that the car had to be either Red or Green (huh??), and since I didn't think Green was going to be a great colour other than perhaps Lime Green / Neon Green (depends on the car)... I went with Red instead.
The budget was between $30 and $35K and it had be 5 years or newer and above all else... manual.

features on the car and that at the time the SP25 we drove was a 6spd automatic. The SP25 had a lot of bells and whistles and the price they wanted at the North Melbourne dealership was about $28K and had 5KM on the ODO... That's 5KM not 5,000KM. Then we went to another dealership, the except the SP25 was manual... a good start, but the body type was a sedan which my mum just didn't want to go with... even with 3KM on the ODO and wanted $28.75K. Eventually, after doing further research for my mother, I came across a 2015 Mazda 3 Astina with 23KM on the ODO and it was the XD model which basically retailed at about $43K new and also the top-of-the-line model. It was Red, it was manual and it was a hatch just like she wanted.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Could not love Mazda3 more
It was really difficult to make choice between Mazda3 and Corolla which are the best two popular small cars.
But I never regretted after drive my Mazda3 cause of so much benefit.
Mazda is slightly longer than Corolla so space is good, also the engine 2.0 is power than Corolla's 1.8 engine.
Only one capped service annually take much advantage of Corolla.
Lastly the 2014 Mazda3 is really a charming beauty just like my daughter.

Great little car
2015 Mazda 3 Maxx model. Very happy with the car. Drives very well and is very comfortable to drive. It has more than enough grunt to get you around town and pull into small gaps in traffic. The road noise is significant but doesn't detract too much from the driving experience. Is reasonably fuel efficient averaging about ~7.8 - 8L/100km. Love the entertainment and GPS system, much better and more intuitive than a lot I've used.

Was wondering if anyone has had issues with the MZ Connect system? I have a Mazda 3 Hatch BM MY2015 SP 25 Astina. Just under a year of getting it new, the " your over the speed limit" woman started going silent, yet you could tell that she was trying as the right ( driver) side speaker would be off, with music still coming through the left ( passenger) speaker. And this would happen more so if apps like Pandora were active. I've had one fix, that didn't fix it. There is another one due in a few weeks but there must be more than one driver having this issue!

I haven't had any major problems, I just use the music connected to an iPod & the navigation, it has crashed a few times but generally works well.
Yes I had this problem. It started when I had a service in October 2016. Just had another service and it has stopped doing it thanks to them updating softare or just reinstalling whatever version is currently out. Hope this helps :)
Thanks
