Mongrel slip-on boots (oil kip steel cap) are simply one of the most comfertable shoes I have owned! I work as an ecologist which involves everything from “bush bashing,” industrial sites to client meetings and these fit the bill as perfect all-rounders! Being a Tasmanian, I used to use Blundstone boots, but changed since there manufactuaring moved overseas. Great product!

Heard & read a few reviews about these boots..comfy, Made in Oz .mmhmm i thought i would try a pair on when purchasing a new pair for work. I could feel the arch support as soon as i slipped them on . The heel is low which gives even more support to my arches. It was like slipping on a an pair of my old favorite boots. Wore them around the house for a few hours.. these feel i alright i though to myself, no pain, no discomfort. Cant wait to head of to work on Monday & see how they go. Will update later . BTW was a Steel Blue wearer for years then last pair i had was Oliver ( lasted 2 years )

Mongrels are the most snug and supportive boots i have owned. have only had them for a couple of weeks so i will see how they last. so far so good.

Best safety boot I have ever owned wondering if mongrel boots used to be called victors as I have owned a few of victors boots in past and they were the best

I bought the 251020 for my husband, who hates lace up boots. He needed ankle support though, so the zip allowed the best of both worlds.

They aren't too stiff, like some new leather boots. The steel cap doesn't pinch. The boots have great bounce, like a good running shoe.

The ankle support is really good, and his feet feel stable. The laces seem quite good too.

He is rough on his shoes, so we'll see if they hold up for a few years like his elastic side Mack boots did.

Fantastic boots, I have been buying them for a few years now and find them very comfortable.
Only small issue is the stud on the flap that covers the zipper keeps opening.
Highly recommend the boots.

I brought morngrel boots for many years now my new boots R Series it about 4 months ago while I was working garden landscape but now my left boot rubber sole had been falling apart it shocked to me, never seen this before.

Great Boots but the button keeps opening. I’m constantly closing the button up. Please fix the issue with the button.

Third pair, I normally get about 2 years out of these boots and the current pair are 3 months old and very comfortable. I
My last boots, not mongrels but same price lasted 1 year so I am happy.

After seeing the reviews I thought I would try an alternative to Steel Blue - which up until today were my fave steel cap boot brand. I put 'em on in store and they fit like a glove. So comfy, they feel like they are worn in off the bat. Great strong and grippy sole and over quality looks A1.

i can not speak highly enough about Mongrel Boots . I walk and stand on a concrete floor for 8 hours a day .I tried many boots but at the end of the da my feet where killing me . Until i was told to buy Mongrel boots, best ever no pain ! My feet are in Heaven

I was determined to find a new pair of boots that I haven’t tried before chasing the ultimate in comfort. For years I’ve worn the most popular brands changing from brand to brand and wasn’t never 100% satisfied. I went into my local work clobber and told her were I was at and she suggested the mongrel pull on boot.. I hadn’t even heard of this boot so was like hmm ok just being polite really...FAR OUT they were like my slippers at home unbelievably comfortable I couldn’t believe it. I wore them straight out of the shop, and worn them everyday since, unbelievable, highly recommend these boots

My workplace has been a strict ‘Redback’ boots only company ever since I started. They have recently relaxed the rules and when it was time to get a new pair I decided to try on some others. The Mongrels felt like I was wearing slippers. They are comfy and supportive. I’ll never go back to the resbacks again. I know they’ll last too because they’re Aussie made. Thinking about getting a tan pair for personal use. I’ll be recommending to all my mates. Keep it up

being a land surveyor I can be on building sites one day and then another day walking long distances through the bush. Over the years i tried a few other well known brands but they just don't cut it. I'm coming back to Mongrel. I find Mongrel Boots the most comfortable. I give them a hard time walking in mud and water and never had a pair fall apart.

brought two pairs of the side zipper boots in the past 5 years, best boots I have ever worn. I recommend these boots to anyone who wears boots for long periods of time.

After years of swearing by my old brand of boots I changed to mongrel as I had issues with my knee and was told by a doctor to try different work boots. Well two years later and I am still convinced that these are the best brand of boots I have ever owned. The knee pain cleared up and the end of day lower back pain went as well. Best of all they are Australian made. Thank you guys.

Been in the civil construction industry for over 25 years . I have problems with my ankles from an old injury ( and I'm a big lad ) . Tried many brands . Oliver . Steel blue . Bluntstone . Would consistantly be in pain . One day a mate told me Mongrels. Best decision ever made . Like walking on a roll of ableflex all day . Superior comfort. Long life over a year in a precast yard. High quality durable scuff resistant leather . Made in Australia .

I have been working in a wholesale plant nursery for 20 years, and due to getting wet every day, have not been able to find a pair of boots that last more than 12 months. Our boss bought us all a pair of Mongrel boots for Christmas 18 months ago. My boots were comfy from day one, and still continue to be. The leather is worn, but not cracking, no water gets into them from anywhere. I love these boots, and will NEVER buy another brand again. So well made, can highly recommend.
