This was brought to match toaster within a few months paint flaked a couple of years old now but I am going to throw it out. Water level corroded and lid dirty looking.most expensive and worse kettle i have ever had

Decent kettle. The water indicator ball became stuck about 1 year after purchase, so that no longer works. Also, the kettle ages poorly, with the finish on the outside picking up all grease and dirt etc. Overall, does the job and is still working, but maybe not worth the premium price tag.

I had this kettle approximately 18mths it has scratched very easily . It has apparently corroded because I live in a hard water area and so leaks .
Customer care offered reduced price for a new product ....No thank you !
I think that a kettle should be constructed in such a way that it lasts longer than 18mths . Perhaps a clear label stating not suitable for hard water areas might be helpful.

For the price it is a noisy kettle, the light doesn't work when turned onto to boil, it did at first on occasion but not any more. This kettle is a few months old. Would like a matching toaster but after reading reviews I will have to look into it more. Harris Scarfe stores must sell seconds.

The fill gauge has never worked properly since we got it, it's stuck and then will suddenly jump to full. After only 3 - 4 months of use this kettle leaks. It leaks from around the gauge and the bottom somewhere. The colouring is also coming off around joins. Really disappointing. My previous Morphy Richards Jug kettle lasted for ages, but they no longer made this model so I thought I would try this one instead. Bad move. Can't return as purchased from Commbank awards. :(

Not impressed with the quality as paint has scratched off in places and now it leaks dangerously on the base at just 1 year old. Also doesn't always turn off so have got a cheap replacement at half the price which is much better so far (not the same brand). Will contact the manufacturer to ask for money back but not holding my breath. The matching toaster isn't wonderful either as it is uneven and the spring contraption popped out which squeezes bread in. Luckily I managed to mend this.
I do not recommend this brand of kettle or toaster.

This kettle is awful!!! Not only does the paint chip of it nearly scalds me everytime I pour the water into the cup spitting out all over the place. Do not buy this kettle I am absolutely disgusted with Morphy Richards Do they not test products this kettle could not have passed health & safety.

I bought a kettle and toaster from Harvey Norman Joondalup three months ago. The kettle is so loud I can hear it like an alarm clock when my husband puts it on at 6am. The toaster does not fair any better it toasts all the edges but not the centre of the bread!!! total waste of money!!!

I purchased this graphite 102002 kettle from a Curry store about March 2015. I descale my kettle but found a lot of around the top of lid area. Where now I am unable to remove the lid at all. Also when it boils it is still boiling when pouring and it goes everywhere a couple of times burnt myself. I wouldn't recommend this kettle at all. As I have never known a kettle to do this.

This is a lovely kettle. And it looks really well in my kitchen The only thing wrong with it is it says black on the box, but it looks more like dark grey. The handle and base are black but the kettle itself is not. I would recommend it to my friends but I think you need to check the colour on the box.
