WANT THE BEST; forget the rest!!
My car was involved in accident on a busy freeway and taken to "MSR Heavy." From the get-go, Janine (reception) communicated with myself via constant text messages keeping me abreast in what was happening with my car; any updates were reported immediately. Completely a joke
The Springwood office is useless no contact unless you call them and even then you get next to no information
They have had our car for over 4 weeks and then tried to give us back the car not finished and wanted us to bring it back in 2 weeks to finish repairs. After we told them we didn’t want the car back till it was properly finished. Looks like it’s going to be at least another 3-4 weeks till we get it back.
Worst thing is racq took the car there and they won’t move it.

Worst communication ever!
What a freakin joke of a company. My car has been in for repair for 3 weeks now at the Springwood location. Their communication is absolutely disgraceful, I am constantly chasing them to see when my car is ready as they don’t give you any updates whatsoever. I call then before I attend, it’s still not ready. You cannot trust a thing that they say and I’m pretty sure they are told to say that their staff are in a production meeting about your vehicle just because it sounds good. I spoke to two different people today who told me four different things, that they were currently in a production meeting about my vehicle, that it was having a complementary clean, that the vehicle was having it’s final inspection and then that the car badges were meant to arrive today, however they got held up and will be arriving tomorrow (the badges weren’t even damaged to begin with). I asked to speak with a supervisor and the reception lady put me on to another female who pretended to be the supervisor, when I asked for her name and email address, she advised me that she was an estimator and the email address started with estimator which I questioned and she stated that if she gave me the supervisors email address that he would not read it for another day but he will read the estimators email address that same day. For all I know, the staff could be using my car for their personal use, they could have further damaged it or it could have been stolen. I cannot believe they are RACQ’s repairer when I’ve read so many reviews like the experience I am currently having with them and I am yet to pick up my car. They obviously don’t care because they are given a certain amount of work from insurance companies. You can tell the staff don’t care and are obviously use to dealing with unhappy customers because they are not understanding at all. I am so nervous to see the work done on my vehicle as they seem like an untrustworthy company. I have a one year old and other commitments but they obviously don’t take that into consideration. I don’t know how many times I’ve emptied my hire vehicle and taken our pram out and other items as I’ve been about to collect my vehicle and I’m told again that it is not ready. I’ve also canceled appointments to go and pick it up. The service or lack of is beyond a joke. I’ve never dealt with such an unprofessional company such as these guys. My insurance company RACQ choose this repairer and this is the worst repairer I have come through. I am going to make a complaint to RACQ how unprofessional people they are and not suitable for insurance company. I request please don’t leave your vehicle here.

My insurance company RACQ choose this repairer and this is the worst repairer, the most dishonest, and the worst customer service. They have given due date 1 week when first given, when asked on due date to pick up they further increased 1 more week without any notice and didn’t get any respond . And they are asking for 1 more week when I went there to pick my vehicle. They lie that they will call you and inform about progress which they never did. Worst staff talking in phone very rudely and lie through their teeth. As I used my vehicle for uber and it was just the scratch needed paint job only for that I lost my job for 3 weeks now. Still not sure when will I get my vehicle back

Terrible
Car still not fixed, after returning it twice. Receptionist cranky when asking for progress. RACQ didnt help at all. Terrible terrible terrible operation. If you can see the clear dint still in bonnet, you shouldnt be working on cars. Mechanic also not on site, no mechanical work was completed.

Bad workmanship
My car was put back 4 times of date of collection. When I went to pick up the car the girl said their is still a small touch of buffering to do I can bring the car back to have this done. Sorry was the car not supposed to be ready to pick up? Had two more scratches on the door and two marks on a bumper that was supposed to be repaired. I will never again put my car into this place to be repaired.

RACQ recommended
After three weeks of no communication, our customer finally got her car back and the panel that was repaired, the paintwork is terrible. Her spare tyre has been replaced with a dummy and her car is filthy. The passenger mirror looks secondhand.

NOT SO BAD AFTER ALL
After some bad reviews, I'll add some good ones. It may have taken 3 weeks instead of 1 but when I got my car back today after having the bonnet and front guard etc replaced, I couldn't be more happy. My car was actually shining. Well done guys at Mansfield. The girls in the office are lovely as well. Thank you. RACQ provided me with a loan car for the full time it took to repair. I'm very grateful.

Great 'after sales' service
After a satisfactory repair of my side mirror, I later scratched my paint when I used a squeegee to wash my car.
I took my car back and, for no fee, they took about 15 minutes to remove four scratches. When I offered to pay or get them a gift, they said ‘not necessary’ !

Avoid if you can
Took 2.5 weeks to repair & if I didn't call them I wouldn't of known my car was ready. When I picked up my vehicle the guy doing the handover mentioned I have some fresh bird poo on my bonnet (which I later found out was white paint, which was very noticeable on my car). I had to go back the next day & wait for it to be buffed off. I thought it was the last time I was going to be at this place but one month later they called to advise they have a part to be fitted for my car. 4 weeks later!! I was not told there was a part they were still waiting on when I picked up my car. I also moved and do not live close to Mansfield anymore. Very frustrating!

Worst place to get your car repaired
It took them 4 weeks to repair a dent on my Honda Civic. First they told us it would take 10days to fix the car. We were told to bring in the car in January since the part wont arrive by December. Handed in the car on the 2nd of January 2022 and they have rescheduled the pick up time FIVE TIMES without informing us. We had to call them on the day to make sure if we could pick up the car or not but SOMEHOW there was always something wrong with the car or they haven't received a part or they have completed things. Absolutely appalling slow service. Don't leave things in the car too. My car was returned with things taken from it from my car that was in the boot. Disgusting & low. Do not get your car repaired here.

Terrible communication!!!!
Don’t go with this company! Took over 7 weeks to get my car fixed and every time it was even close to done they had to order and fix something else! If I didn’t call them I wouldn’t have known that my car was ready. They even left a cup of coffee in my car after the accident that had a lovely family of maggots for me to clean when I got it back.

If your insurance is with RACQ this is where your car goes...well to one of their centers. Springwood in our case.
The most incompetent repairer we have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
Charge the insurance company for parts they don't provide. Most of the phone calls have been met with utter rudeness!

Had my IX 35 Hyundai put in for a repair job, from damage caused by an inconsiderate person who left their trade mark on my car whilst parking next to me.
MSR did an amazing job, and the car looks brand new. They even washed and polished it on completion of the job. I would recommend them to future clients.

FJ damaged by RACQ autofast windscreen repairs and MSR
10 weeks and counting for damage that RACQ and MSR continue to do. Stone hit windscreen, RACQ damaged paint, panels and removed select rubbers to replace windscreen. FJ went to MSR, appalling customer service and appalling finish on fixing panels around the windscreen. Expected me to take the FJ with missing rubbers!! The panels were still damaged, not repainted well, interior of my FJ paint dust everywhere and just a total mess inside. Still waiting and we get promised every fortnight it will be completed. We have nothing back prior to delivery date on the 9th Feb. if there was a mins 10 on this review rating I would gladly give it.

Not happy with them add racq
Hello, msr collision centre, pick up my ute, after 9weeks in your workshop, it was cover in sanding dust, in add out, if you call detailing blowing the inside out and missing half of it, then gernie the outside add, doing poor job, what about the sanding dust, after 8weeks plus in your workshop, Not Happy, so a 2week, repair that takes 9 weeks. No message left on phone, till final calls, l've been done over buy you and racq. l'm not happy at all.

Painted my car the wrong colour
MSR Colision Underwood painted my car Maroon on the rear panels which they know is not the same colour as Cherry Red of the original paint. This makes our car look like it has had a major rear collision instead of a minor kiss with a low bollard. They don't care and say RACQ has approved their work. Even though we talked to the manager and friends they tried to treat my daughter and I like mugs. I am a chemist and my daughter is a materials and mechanical engineer. They said that the paint looks different on plastic and metal panels however the hatch(metal) and rear bumper (plastic) are the same Maroon but not the same as the Cherry Red the rest of the car is painted in particular the panel that is closest to their paintwork.

Had the car for 3 weeks and Completion date delayed 4 times!!!
My vehicle was sent to underwood center by RACQ for repairs. I was given a completion date of 2 weeks later on a Tuesday which was then was changed to Wednesday then to Friday then to Monday, after not hearing anything by 2pm on Monday i called only to be told it still hadn't reached quality control and still needed to be cleaned so it would be the following day!!! Oh thanks for letting me know! After all the delays it should have been made PRIORITY! Same old excuse "we don't want to rush your job we want to make sure it's done right" sorry you've had it for long enough to not have to rush it. Very bad experience!!!
