Worst company when it come to warranty,called my son and myself a liar to our face when they had given us parts that had been restocked from someone else.Worst customer service in the industry.john was extermly rude when we mentioned his crap service parter.Amazing that these guys haven't heard of consumer rights,but they will.

Store is uncontactable
I visited the Fyshwick store yesterday to enquire on the status of a pickup order, as they were impossible to call on the phone, claiming that their phone was broken.
Despite the website showing every item I ordered online as being in stock at the store, the customer service officer claimed that the website was broken and in fact none of the items I ordered were.
I was told I should have e-mailed first, which I did, but received no response. He then suggested that he would be in contact today, but close of business has now passed without a phone call or email.

I'll join the chorus of complaints. I bought an SanDisk SSD from which failed after a couple of weeks. They refused to exchange it insisting on 'assessing' the product by sending it to Sydney, after two weeks I wrote an email saying it was taking too long, but four weeks turned into six weeks plus (I'd nearly forgotten about it). I spoke to consumer affairs who gave me a form letter that I filled out and sent to MSY. Still no response. I ended up walking in but rather than blow my stack I waited patiently and was given my replacement drive without an argument. Sleazy behaviour though, it should have been replaced on the spot.

They have what you want but customer service it terribad!
They have a website that does NOT track stock and they do not have phones.... Use only if they are the last resort! The general knowledge of the staff member (usually only one) is typically OK but their returns/customer service is universally awful!

Re Warranty
A small percentage of products I have purchased from this store in the past appeared to be faulty.
Whenever I approached the store with the issues, they were always resolved quickly either by refund or prompt replacement.
Unfortunately this particular store is now closed. If the other MSY stores are like this one with regards to warranty, I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Bad warranty service
Laptop warranty issue - local staff accused us of lying, would not listen and were very arrogant. Forced us to sign repair form under duress ( ie held laptop until we signed with inaccurate comments).

Extremely poor customer service
I ordered a WD SSD and a enclosure from the online store for pickup from MSY Fyshwick. Both items were listed as being In Stock at both the online store and Fyshwick location. After payment had been processed I received an email asking me to wait until I received confirmation that the items were ready for pickup. After waiting for two weeks I emailed MSY and received no response. I called the Fyshwick store numerous times and the phone was never answered. The sales assistant was extremely difficult to understand and eventually I came to understand that the store did not have the enclosure I ordered in stock. I was offered a different enclosure that was $1 more expensive, and despite all the jerking around they were insistent that I paid that $1. The entire process took an incredible amount of time for what it was. There were other staff in the store and despite the phone ringing numerous times none of them answered it while I was there. I'm not sure what MSY is like with direct delivery from the online store, but I would not recommend in-store collection to anyone. The service was abysmal.Similar opinion? Best deals.
MSY have some of the best prices in Australia even compared with online stores. They are my first stop when looking for computer parts and upgrades. Pitcairn St Glenorchy is not where you would expect to find them but it's easy to find and there's no parking issues.

Poor Service. Shouldn't be in business
I purchased an SSD online on 17 Dec 19 for pickup from MSY Fyshwick. Online ordering system said it was in stock. The following day I received an email that it wasn't in stock. I contacted them and was told it would arrive on 9 Jan 20 and they would contact me. I was happy to wait. A few days after 9 Jan 20, I hadn't been contacted so I attended the store. They new nothing about my order but found it and reordered my SSD saying it would be available in three days, Thursday, when stock arrived. I have contacted MSY via their regional email address on two occasions without response. I would take a refund, however MSY need to be held to account. Great service and quick responses by email
I emailed MSY to hold the Msi 1660 super gaming x GPU and I got a quick response back in 20mins saying they would hold it for 4 days and when I got there it was still on hold for me and even tho the price was $419 when I called them it went to $429 but they still gave it to me for $419 i was really happy with that. Service was great as well! Then my brother also got GPU for $399 as well! Also had a look at the product and it’s looks completely fine to me better then expected!
The only thing I’ll say is they didn’t pick up there phone I guess the number may have been changed just not been updated but by email it was excellent!

One month of waiting, dozens of calls and several emails and I still don't have my warranty return
Disgusting service. I've waited a month for a warranty update on an item I sent back to them and have heard nothing. Have phoned them literally dozens of times but no one has EVER answered and they don't have voicemail. They also don't respond to email enquiries AT ALL. They've literally taken my money, taken my product and kept them both.
I'm filing a complaint with the ACCC for this. MSY can go screw themselves.

Great parts supplier and went above and beyond in service
I needed a decent fan solution for my CPU, which had previously burnt out two other fans, including the OEM one. The guys suggested a Coolermaster unit at $48, not only did it drop my temps by 50C, when I had some issues with it being harder to install than expected - the store manager fitted it personally.
For the other reviews on here, remember guys - they cop lots of newbs and all their questions which puts any mere mortal to the test - in my opinion they passed this time - with FLYING colours - I will be back!

Spent $1500 on a new system, the monitor purchased has a small crack in the screen, but they won't exchange - saying only that they would send away to LG to see if they accept the return, but doubted they would as I could have done the damage.
Brand new monitor and NO exchange for a damaged product. Shoddy, dishonest and rip off fools.

Don't expect good customer service just competively priced computer gear.
After purchasing $54 worth of goods from the Pascoe Vale store today, I asked for a copy of one of their NBN modems information sheet as I am upgrading my home internet service and want to purchase a good NBN compatible modem. I was told by an older Asian man serving that it was to difficult to do and told to take a pic with my phone. The reason I asked for a copy was so I don't struggle reading on my 5" phone. problems printing 2x A4 sales receipt for 2 items.maybe I was over the page limit. Btw. I purchased from the Pascoe Vale store on 10/10/19 a TP-Link $49 wifi range extender and a $5 kids Toy camera. Maybe if you check your receipts you will find out who I am as I used tap and go for payment. Like I have said people competively priced items but bad customer service. Well I miss the old staff that’s for sure!
I’ve been buying from here for some time and always found the former staff to be helpful. One of them has remained at the store and is still customer focused but the other gentlemen there just brushes me off every time and doesn’t recognize me at all even after 18 months. The sad thing was that the HDD I went to purchase was in stock and held for me, just went to collect it and it was sold, now that’s the third time this has occurred. Back to PC Case Gear for me, much better service!

SD memory cards
I purchased 2 memory cards and i am used to the way they run at this store. I have purchased many items over the years and its rare i have to take anything back to them. Its not a store to browse things physically. You do that online and then walk in. I prefer to do that anyway
