Online order - laptop
I found the website easy to use and was able to see what was happening with my order. Ordered a laptop for delivery to Perth. Laptop arrived in good condition and is now in use by my son for working from home.

Slow service
I ordered a keyboard (which the website said was available at mwave) on the 11th April. My order was verified on the 14th of April. Although the website says processing could take up to 24 hours for an item that's available at mwave, given the pandemic, I did expect it to take a little longer. However, it has been 3 days now and it's still processing. I would rather have been able to use the "message/ticket" function on my account, but that doesn't work either.

a few days. I would've expected this to have applied to an item in stock at MWAVE where the processing time is 24 hours. But 5 days to dispatch an item that's in stock is a bit of a joke. I was prepared to cancelled my order, only to find that would be to MY detriment given your 20% "restocking" fee. Being charged $55 for you to restock the item? Unresponsive post sale and overpriced
I ordered a monitor on the 30th March and they sent me an invoice for the 2nd April. No.. The purchase was the 30th March not 2nd April. I emailed them to which they replied with my shipping details. No.. Answer my original question. I followed up many times since, to which they have ignored.
What a mistake buying from them. NEVER again. Be warned.

Very helpful at a busy time
I was interested in a product that was "available for pre-order". Wanted to know if I should order these (good price, but no stock) as if they took more than a month to come, I'd want to go elsewhere, even at higher price.

Wrong Product Sent, Bad online support during Covid-19 Pandemic - Issue still not resolved.
I placed an order a week ago for a 2 port sata 3 raid card, I received an Item 4 days after my order. Which is understanable since product was listed as "In stock with Vendor" and two of the days were Saturday and Sunday.
The item I received was a $15 IDE adapter, this is not the product I had ordered for my customer. As this is a build for a customer of mine, I imediately tried contact Mwave to Resolve the issue. I was sceptical about both as I had tried contacting Mwave multiple times the week before purchasing the item to make sure it was available and was compatible for my customers use case, however I never received A response. To be safe I emailed them and created a ticket asking them to contact me on my mobile number so we could get the issue resolved right away. as I suspected no one responded to the email Nor did they call my mobile number, they did however respond to the ticket asking me to do the following. "Create a return ticket for the order I had placed, to recieve a full refund" "place another order for the item on their website "ASAP" so it doesn't run out at the vendor." These are both reasonable processes for a return, however I am currently out of pocket for the first order I placed, and they are now asking me to place a second order without having refunded me first. Does not care about customer service.
During Covid, they had a large amount of orders but lifted all their prices suggesting they are profiting from the pandemic. Offered no discounts to shipping even with delays of up to 3 weeks for processing orders.
Multiple days to respond to any support tickets after shutting call centres. Messages that blamed other areas where support would blame accounts for not processing payments. Items would be allocated but stuck because support were not answering support tickets.
If you can, choose a different provider.
Used to love this company.

Fantastic Company
Fantastic service, great product range, and range options. Speedy delivery and customer service. The site is easy to search and sort, and they list what they dont have in stock, and allow you to register for a notification when it does arrive, they also list what their partnered suppliers have in stock. I have ordered about six times from them now and I will not go anywhere else. The only slight downside is the cost of freight. It should be a little more resonable, it can account for up to 10-15% of your invoice price sometimes. Perhaps better negotiations with the freight company are in order here.

Absolutely terrible service from MWave.
Absolutely terrible service from MWave. Was told I’d have to wait 24hours for my product or a response. It took them over 4 days to write a reply, and my questions weren’t even answered. Then another 2 days to get my questions answered. Finally escalated it and now making a formal complaint. DO NOT use this company if you want good service. Good service outstands any “low price” “ value” because at the end of the day, people like to feel important. MWaves customers are clearly not important to them.

Great service at this difficult times!
I had a great experience with Mwave. Their inventory is up to date at their website. I’ve placed my order and they shipped the order in 3 days at this difficult times. Packaging was great to protect all valuable items. It’s a plus for me that they’re based in Sydney. Highly recommended.

Covid-19 Delays
These guys have been pretty helpful, This is the first time I've ever ordered from them.. Originally I ordered a pre-built machine but when I was informed it was on backorder (I ordered it on my phone out in the bush) I changed the order to the parts that are in stock (so I can build it myself). Now I understand they are under the pump because lots of orders are coming through for people that will need something to do when and if Lock down happens.
It's going to be the best system I've ever purchased and I'm looking forward to building it as I haven't had to build a PC of my own for about 5 years..

very dissapointing delays
all items shown as “in stock at Mwave” when order placed.
I Noted the Covid19 warning - “there will be some delays” (so i expected a delay)
however After 7 days .. status still shown as “processing” .. after 5 working days ... items not shipped.
annoyed and disapointed.... better transparency on delays could avoid these type of issues.

Terrible Service. Don't waste your time.
I have ordered a modem on 19/03 and it is now 23/03. The order status is still "Processing" after 4 days and to be honest after 2 business days! The phone number they have provided is not working and after pushing the chat button several times, I still couldn't find anyone who can tell me why my order is still processing? And when I can pick it up? I am now waiting to chat online for an hour and a half but no one answering.
Very disappointing! DO NOT but anything from them.
I still waiting for my order to get processed.
Do NOT waste your valuable time with this crap service they are providing.

Worst Experience
Website & Store looks great! Customer service and response time are excellent... When you are making the purchase after that it quickly fell away. I would rate the customer service a 0/10. A few days in and I am wondering about an update and they reply with an excuse about COVID-19 and nothing that actually answers my question on what is happening and when should I expect the delivery. I would not use these people at all! Plenty of other more component PC sellers out there.

Disappointing
It takes 1-5 business days for a refund to process and they do it manually(not including debit card processing times). Despite being 'manual' you can't even ask to be refunded.

On 26/12/19 I bought 9 parts for a new pc build which all were in stock at mwave with the exception of 2 parts which both said it would dispatch within 24 hours at the time of when it was bought.
I would like to know when Mwave will dispatch it as I am worried that my order has been missed.

The 2 parts that needed to be dispatched from different suppliers may be from 2 seperate suppliers and the 24 hours that it states doesn’t account for the time it takes to deliver the parts to the showroom. Mwave also occasionally checks the parts as a curtesy to you too see if they are compatible or if any damage has been sustained and if there has been, they will need to order a replacement which will take longer. If you have made a big order like you said, there is no way they will “forget” about it. Hope this helps
