Does the 88 GQ SWB have a fuel light?

1999 Nissan Patrol 4.5 GRX. Replaced alternator at workshop now engine shuts down intermittently. Any ideas?

Hi Ive got a 2001 4.2turbo which has just clicked over 300000km its a one owner vehicle well maintained. never been off road or on the beach do i need to do the front bearings and ball joints and what else do i need to do Many thanks andy

battery went flat recarged it put back in start it on gas it clicks back to petrol will not stay on gas why

I have a Nissan patrol ZD 30, y61. It cuts off intermittently. I changed the fuel filter, cleaned the MAF and replaced the ECU relay but it still happens. Sometimes it goes without cutting off. When it does cut off, it will start but cut off again. If I keep it standing for 30 minutes, it will start again. No white smoke or black smoke Any ideas

hI my Nissan patrol Auto 4.5 petrol seems to up gear when the brake pedal is applied its very dangerous going down hill with a load on as it takes off .. any clever buggers out there that can diagnose this issue would be of great help? Cheers Steve

Just replaced alternator, (old one was near 12 yr old and quite used:) ) had battery checked and if new alternator is charging, which both are fine, but My 88 GQ Maverick SWB (Tb42 engine) is drawing power when switched off. Have checked few things, Just spent $$$ on her with all oil changes, full service. Done 3 short trips to shop, running like a dream,sat her in carport for week, now it started doing this. any suggestions and ideas to try out plz?
