LOVE this car!
We bought a brand new 2017 X-trial ST-L because we are expecting a baby. It is spacious, very smooth and quiet to drive and seem to be very safe. There is a few extra safety features including the lights that warns you about cars being in your blind spots. We love this car!! Having said that, we both drive a car that's from 2000 and 2003...

Nissan Xtrail 2017
Recently got a new Nissan Xtrail 2017 model and it’s the bomb! Compared to Nissan Dualis 2014, my new Nissan Xtrail can pick up the speed really quick, so you don’t have to worry about that crazy roundabouts whether you will make it or not before that other car hits you, it feels light to drive and the aircon can make hot car cool down quicker than the Dualis.
My previous Dualis and Xtrail both have 7 seats, the only downside is that this Xtrail is smaller and have less space for the extra seats at the back compared to the Dualis. But overall, I am happier with the Xtrail.

Great all round daily driver
We've had this vehicle for 6 months now and it still impresses me with it's great visibility, the CVT gearbox and just how quiet it is on the road. The only thing I can fault is the lack of an overhead ligh in the cargo area. It is located on the side and is basically useless in it's current location. Fuel economy is around the 8lt/100km mark for town driving so pretty economical. Service costs are less than our previous Holden Cruze. The rear seating is great for those due it the raised position allowing passengers to see whats in front more readily

Were the design engineers drunk??
Been a Nissan man for years, loved 'em......until now!
Had a 2012 T31 X-Trail and decided to trade UP to a new 2017 T32 series 2. Well, here are my observations of the differences from the T31.
Less boot room.
Sloping roof line means the seat has to be lower than you may like to avoid cracking your scone getting in/out. Due to roof line, the front pillar obscures vision.
Door pockets are awkward to get to unless the door/s are open.
The very handy lift up storage box on the dash has been removed.
The front seats, albeit comfortable, have a rais...Read more

Forget the SUV advertising and think more of a 5 door Hatch
I got the chance to drive this vehicle for 5 days and I was looking forward to it, but what can be in perception can be quickly changed in reality.
The vehicle that i chose to drive was the 2wd version of the X Trial and the base model, even though it was the base model, the vehicle came well equiped with all the necessary bling, a 8" monitor screen this and all the electronic gadgets, bluetooth stuff and such.
In the 2wd version of the X trial, this is a misdomena, for this version of the X Trial is living of the naming rights of those mod...Read more
