I used this remover for years, its well priced and took the make up off easily. Unfortunately it slowly started to cause redness and other irritation along the ridge of the lashes. It took me a while to even associate the irritation with the product as it was so mild at first. Luckily this is improving now after weeks of not using it. So if you are very sensitive like me, I'd give this product a miss.

I use this makeup remover on a cotton pad and wipe it over my eyes and it removes my eye makeup without drying out my skin. There is a slight lemon scent which is very mild.
My eyes normally get very irritated, but this makeup remover removes even waterproof makeup without pulling my skin.

I like this product and can recommend it. I usually get very itchy around the eyes and the sides of my nose when I use makeup remover. The nivea one is expensive but I was happy to use it, and didn't suffer from it at all.

I found that this item can easily remove light makeup but when it comes to heavy applications, it has the tendency to just smudge the makeup all over your face. Also, it's not that effective in removing eye shadow and water-proof make up. But, if you're used to just wearing light makeup, this product will most likely work for you.

I use Nivea Nivea Extra Gentle Eye Make Up Remover daily to remove make-up. Sometimes I use heavy eye make up and this product works very well. It doesn't sting, it removes almost all traces of products and it doesn't irritate my eyes.

I buy many Nivea products and I've been happy with them in the past, both cost-wise & quality-wise.
However I am very disappointed in Nivea Extra gentle Eye Make-up remover. I have been buying this product for many years but NOW find it smudges both eye shadow & mascara and doesn't remove it at all! Is it a new formula? Sometimes I have to wipe my eyes 5-6 times to remove.

I had been looking for months to find a gentle eye make up remover. My eyes are very sensitive and I am generally allergic to lots of products. My previous product was a Simply Essentials Garnier remover which I had used successfully for years - recently they removed it from the Australian market. After trying many well known and some very, very, expensive products that irritated my eyes incredibly, I discovered Nivea Extra gentle Eye Make Up Remover. This product doesn't remove eye liner properly. It pretty much just smudged it all over my face and I had to scrub really hard, which in turn just hurt my eyes a lot. I still haven't been able to remove all of the eye liner off my face and now I have to make a trip to the supermarkets again.

Will never buy this again. Don't waste your money.

My daughter says this Nivea Extra Gentle Eye Make Up Remover is exactly what it says it is gentle. It doesnt make her eyes Red or Watery. She is 20yo and i offered to buy her the olay rangebut she said she liked thi range and she has stuck with it. i have told her it will soon be time to get something a bit better as to me this skincare isnt much good after you reach the age of 20/21yo.
My daughter uses this and she says it is gentle with her eyes and it doesnt make her eyes red or watery. She loves it.

Doesnt sting eyes or make the skin around the eyes feel tight or dry. great price and nivea products are a great bet to buy that they will work. Very gentle on skin and i also use it to remove lipstick and foundation. Leaves skin clean and fresh

I'm a big fan of Nivea products, they're all so affordable and they works so well. It removes all of my makeup from foundation to mascara without stinging my eyes or leaving a residue. If your face wash doesn't remove all your makeup, or you want to remove heavy makeup before you wash your face, you should definitely try this!
Really easy to use, just use a cotton pad or sponge to remove your whole face of makeup! I know it says that it's an eye-makeup remover, but I think it's suitable for face makeup as well.
No cons about this!

Very convenient to use and is dummy-proof! Unlike most eye / makeup removers, this doesn't leave the skin dry and flaky, nor does it leave an oily residue. I like the fact it does the job properly in seconds and doesn't break the budget! Though, I'm not a user of water-proof makeup so don't know how it rates in that area.

Nivea is a trusted brand and I have always found that their products seem to be gentle on the face and body, the Extra Gentle Eye Make Up Remover is a winner for me and I use it all the time.

Expecially good on waterproof mascara - if you soak a cotton pad then you just need to wipe two times and almost all of it has gone. Much easier to use than other make up removers - although there must be oil in the product - it does not leave the skin feeling greasy.
