I have been driving Northside cars for 1/2 year never have any issues with the cars or staff at Northside
As well during COVID-19 we only payed 1/2 price for rental
Who did keep the vehicle

The car was as new, really good price and super easy hire process. The ladies at the desk were great and happy to answer all of my questions! Highly recommend!!
Amazing Cars and Service for such a small price!
I hired a vehicle from the Greenwood office and the girls there were so helpful and friendly! When I arrived I received a free upgrade and the vehicle was immaculate!

I recently had to hire a car as someone drove into the back of mine. The team at Northside were great in helping me book the right car for my family and they even upgraded me when I went to pick it up. The car was fantastic and really clean (unlike some I've hired from other places before). I'll definitely be recommending them to family and friends :)

Very reasonable price
I hire regularly from Northside Rentals in Welshpool. Great fuel economy on the little cars. The girls always offer service. No fuss hire car! I would definitely recommend using them.

Rubbish if booking for rideshare
1. Booked a outlander to use for Uber and Ola... when i arrived (which was 2hrs later and after i had paid a security deposit on the phone) = was told i could only get a Nissan xtrail.
2. The car was given to me with 128k on the odometer ans the service was due at 130k. I tried to book it in 3 times and was given q date over a week away and then the day before i would be called to hqve the service postponed. And now they are saying i am liable for being late in getting the car serviced.... even though i had tried to book it in and they the...

But they changed and ended the deal on the 1st august 2020 which is AGAINST the offers conditions on the company's website. 5. Customer service first class before & during hire.
I expected fairly high standards before I picked up the vehicle because they were brilliant to deal with on the phone, & by email. They delivered on every aspect of the deal, including price, kilometres, insurance and all other commitments. Most importantly to me was their quality staff. Many businesses have been exposed as frauds during the "pandemic" because their customer support has collapsed. Dealing with these people was first class. I trust them, and will continue to use them until that changes.

I am a regular customer of Northside Rentals in Welshpool so was pretty happy to receive an upgrade on my last hire. The Infinti q50 was a fantastic car, very luxurious yet still good with fuel economy. Staff are friendly and always get great service,plus a free shuttle ride to the airport which helps out alot.
Never replied to emails. Messed up my booking.
Booked a truck to pick up out of office hours which involves leaving a lockbox with the key on the truck. My booking was for Saturday night and they somehow left the key out on Friday night instead of Saturday night. We had driven an hour and a half on Saturday night to get the truck and was left waiting and searching for the key for two hours with no possibility of contacting the company (I had asked for an out of hours contact number and I was assured they didn’t have one because nothing could go wrong). Never got any response from emails, even after sending 2-3 follow up emails each time. Only got a response after calling their phone, with their excuse every time being ‘they were very busy’ to which I suggested each time to look into hiring more staff. Hired a car for my daughter
Great service and price! Car was an urgent request and Northside Rentals bent over backwards to get it ready and available for her fast. Can not fault the staff, they were lovely and efficient.
Good deals for customers
I m happy with Northside as they kept a good relationship and always give special rates when I ask for. Cars are in good condition and new. Very helpful staff and paper work done really quick.

Great customer service, great cars and reasonable rates.
Northside Rentals Customer service is fantastic compared to many of the other car rental companies I have dealt with over the years in Australia and overseas. Extending the rental period was simple and the staff are always very accommodating.

Perfect for mine workers
Good customer service I'm on a template so makes it much easier,cars are in ok condition sometimes get a upgrade if I'm lucky,free shuttle to airport great for mine workers

Northside Rentals has great rates
I always use Northside Rentals for hire cars. I had no issue in the past and everything was good with the cars and bonds. Staff are nice and helpful and were able to change dates and extend the rental period over the phone. Not too far from the town and convenient opening hours.

I hired a car over the Christmas period and I received excellent service. I got the free shuttle bus to the office and was in and out very quickly. Staff were friendly, and the car was great! Couldn’t recommend them enough to anyone looking to hire a car in Perth.
Cheap rental rates with new cars
I have used Northside Rentals few times as they have really low rates compared to other places. I always get their $20 rate as a long term customer. I love that they have good relationship with long term customers and give special rates. The cars are cleaned and maintained well. No issue with bond refund so far and always returned in full. Recommend them if you are looking for a reliable and low rate rentals.

I hired a vehicle over Christmas as my cousins were over from Italy. Such an easy process and the staff were very friendly! I will definitely be recommending to all my friends and family~

Great friendly service
Hired a 7 seater for Christmas holiday. After a long flight from UK got the airport shuttle us picked us from the airport. The gentle man was very nice and helped to load our luggages. There was a bit of paperwork to complete at the office, but overall the servuce was good. We enjoyed the Christmas songs they played at the reception. The car was very clean and new. We did not have any issue and the bond was refunded in full even though it took few days. Will hire from them again when we go to Perth again.

Very happy with Northside
We came over for a holiday over Christmas and still got the car we wanted. We rented the Nissan X-trail which was very roomy and clean when we picked it up. The girls in the office were very sweet and helpful with all the questions I had.
When we returned the car, as promised, we got our security deposit fully refunded. Thanks Northside! Definitely coming back to you next time round :)
Best car hire in Perth
Northside rentals is the best car hire I’ve used in Perth to date, great customer service and car was exactly what we needed for our trip with no hidden costs. Bond was refunded back to us within a few days of returning with no issues.
We will definitely be using them again, couldn’t recommend enough.

Best car rental rates in Perth during Christmas
We hired from Northside Rentals for the Christmas holidays at the best rates that was available at a last minute booking. We got the car all ready on time and I like to thank Northside for the service. Highly recommend if you looking to save and get new car.

We booked our car hire with this company 3 months in advance, sent all required paperwork to them the day prior to hire, only to arrive in the evening of the day of hire to find no vechile. We then had to book a hotel for that night.the next morning when we arrived back at the rental office there was no sign of our car or did the staff know of anything of our hire and had to start searching emails etc they them tried to give us a smaller car to what we booked.The staff were very rude and walked around in a huff.no apology for the costly mistake...

Upon return of the car and discussion regarding the hireage etc we are now told we were in breach of the hire because we left the metro area even though I had asked for unlimited kilometers and would be driving to family in the country. Staff were great, friendly & very helpful, however we will not be using Northside Rentals again. There were lots of little annoying issues as well as some potentially dangerous ones with the vehicle which made us question the calibre of the ongoing mechanical maintenance. Read moree passed it twice before finally pulling in. The admin work appears to all be done by hand & if there are a few waiting........settle in. We had booked a VW Golf for 25 days, it looked fine & was very clean. Not a great start when the side mirror adjustment was broken, luckily we hadn't left, 30 minutes later it was fixed & we were finally on our way. Unfortunately, this was just the beginning. The driver side windscreen spray didn't work (passenger side did), which we didn't discover until we needed to clean the windscreen, very dangerous, luckily we had water with us. A warning message appeared regarding low tyre pressure every time we turned the car on & the warning light stayed on permanently, even though checked multiple times & it was fine. Random warning messages would appear & disappear which was disconcerting. The radio had to be turned on & off manually, forgot to turn it off almost every time but luckily not long enough for flat battery. It would randomly turn itself off, went 3 days without a radio then equally randomly turned itself back on. Clock could not be adjusted to display the correct time. Nothing in the car to tell you about the vehicle, what any of the features were, how to adjust or use any of them. Drivers side seat belt height adjuster didn't work. Returned vehicle to Greenwood location, which was very convenient & again staff were very friendly & helpful, but it was a very slow process. Deposit return was a little slow as we returned it to a different location but within 7 working days.Best prices and helpful staff
At Northside Rentals, the customer service was fantastic and all paper work was done very quickly and the car was ready when we arrived. We got the full bond back after few days. Highly recommend this place
Unmannered, Unprofessional and Very dismissive.
These guys at the Welshpool office are so rude, unprofessional, un-mannered with no courtesy and an unbelievably mind-blowing, to say the least. I hired a car on the 4th July, returned back on the 19th and the so-called lady at the counter looked everywhere for 30 mins or more and still couldn't find my contract, and I had to give my duplicated copy, in order to assist her in finding it or whatever she needed to do to release my bond, since car has been checked, tank filled, no dent or scratches from my end. Read more In regards to the above matters: 1. The original email enquiry sent on the 11/02/2020 you requested a Nissan X-trail. You were informed at that time we did not have any Rideshare vehicles available. All our records show that you did not book in a Mitsubishi Outlander as they are were all on long term hire. We do not and have never taken deposits over the phone as we do not except over the phone payment, therefore we can confirm that there was no deposit paid over the phone before collection. 2. Northside Rentals has tried to get you into the Welshpool office to service the vehicle, we have even made available another vehicle for you to swap into (we have now had to put it back on fleet as you did not come in or contact us (we still have not heard from you) and we have lost hires). 3. Before all vehicles go out on hire they are given a 100 point mechanical check, the headlight was working at the time it went out. During you hire the head light would have gone out. Northside Rentals rectifies this asap, unfortunately over the weekends the mechanics are not in the workshop therefore you'd have to wait for the Monday. Our website does not advertise replacement vehicles, however we do endeavour to supply our customers with loan vehicles which is subjected to availability. 4. During the COVID-19 Pandemic Northside Rentals was generous enough to support the struggling drivers and offer a 50% discount of the weekly rate, until the Airport re-opened. Northside Rentals not only covers the full cost of the vehicle registration, PTV registration, annual inspections, service and maintenance as per log book, they also covered half of the struggling drivers weekly rental. As most of our very appreciative Rideshare drivers realised by Northside Rentals helping them stay in a job Northside Rentals had massive lost. As the Airport is open the price reverted back the to regular price on the 01/08/2020, all drivers were emailed and sms 2 weeks before this went into effect to enable them to return if they did not wish to keep hiring. The Rideshare demand has increased prior to 01/08/2020 as restrictions have eased, most drivers have been extremely busy and making the same if not more money in comparison to before COVID-19 hit. Adding to this fact due to the high demand of rides needed Uber has re-instated the surge prices. Therefore rideshare drivers are not struggling financially and are very busy. 5. Northside Rentals has never declined to answer any queried situation. We even re-sent through the Terms and Conditions page you signed and agreed to, to help clear up some queries you had. You did not respond to this email. Northside Rentals has gone above and beyond with your hire and to try help and keep you happy. Even after you were constantly overdue weekly in your Rental fees causing you not to have any damage cover. We value all our customers and endeavour to keep everyone happy.
