NRMA road service mobile battery service

Spoke to call centre staff member Cindy. She was awesome. Effervescent. Polite and courteous, recorded my information accurately and advised wait time within the hour. Road service technician arrived within 20 minutes. Checked my battery had collapsed and checked which one I required online. He Didn’t have the battery I needed but assured me there was one at his base. He would attend the base collect the battery I required and be back to fix my issue ASAP. Within another 20 mins he returned to my location, professionally installed the new one and took my damaged battery away for disposal. High quality service for mine.

NRMA don't drive without them

I had a flat car battery, most common but very annoying. From the moment I booked the service call, I had fantastic service over the phone. Updates came quickly to my phone. Service man arrived and I was back on my way. He said if there were any further problems please call us back. Never in all my years with NRMA have I ever had a bad experience.

Where would I be?

Due to the fact that we has an unexpected shower of rain, I used my parkers....BUT forgot to turn them off. The next day, when I wanted to go out, my battery was flat. My bad! So, rang the NRMA and within the hour, my car was working again. Thanks to the nice man who came with the battery starter . If it wasn't for the NRMA I would be back to Shanks' pony, I think!

Fortunately, I have not often had to use the roadside assistance service but my battery went dead last Monday and I didn't realize my service had expired as I had paid for three years and had not seen the renewal. None of this was an issue. The operator quickly renewed me for another three years and then sent through the order. I waited less than 30-minutes for the patrolman and was able to do so comfortably in air-conditioning as I could track his whereabouts on the APP. He quickly diagnosed the issue, replaced the battery at a reasonable price of $257 and I was on my way within the hour. Excellent and friendly service and I would not even consider moving to another provider. Thank you!

Professional,knowledgeable,reassuring.

I wish the maintenance service at South Strathfield could provide the same quality and satisfaction as the roadside assistance deliver.

South Strathfield are quite pathetic and non compliant to the customers requests and also need head office to pay them a visit.

Great service

My battery went flat while out and about. Called NRMA service centre. Spoke to a lovely lady who organized a battery payrol to come to the carpark where I was stuck.
Received a text to say approx 25mins.
James turned up 20 mins later. One of the nicest men I have ever. He was "old school". Checked the battery to make sure that was the problem. Replaced the battery. Then checked everything under the bonnet to make sure no other problems.
He was so super efficient, I didnt even feel the sting when I paid for the battery haha.
Highly recommend NRMA. I don't know what I would do without them!

Very quick and reasonable quote. Arrived on time, completed very quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended. Warranty details provided immediately. Person completed multiple checks before finalising the visit. Very happy with my experience.

I contacted NRMA Road Service in relation to a battery problem. I was initially advised that it would be up to 1.5 hours before Battery Patrol would arrive. However within ten minutes, I received a text message saying wait time would be about 25 minutes. Battery Patrol arrived ten minutes later. Battery replaced. All done in about 30 - 40 minutes.

Bloody brilliant

Situation: Just got back from 2 nights in Adelaide on last plane in to Canberra to find my car wouldn't start - Skoda with pushbutton start, thus needs special battery. Should mention left leg in cast & on walking stick + 2 nights no sleep. Rang NRMA call centre, lovely lady fixed everything. Truck arrived quickly & sorted issue quickly. Even has the right battery in the truck. Brilliant service.

Every time I need the NRMA, they’re there. Their service technician are always friendly and helpful. I have absolutely no problem in recommending the NRMA to anyone with a car.

Stranded with a Flat Battery

It was raining. I stopped for a coffee on way to airport to collect a friend. Jumped back in car...wouldn't start. Called hubby who told me to call NRMA. Was distraught when told it could be up to 90 mins before a patrol could get to me. Explained my situation and was assured I would be assisted as soon as possible. 30 minutes later my NRMA Angel arrived!!! Checked the battery...all good...just needed a charge...and off I went. Serviceman was very helpful, friendly and made sure everything was good before he left. Thank you NRMA!!!

Car battery was flat, contacted NRMA and they had the battery patrol round quickly to replace the battery. No hassles, quick and value for money. There app allowed me to keep informed of the ETA of the patrol.

Thank God I’m a paying member of NRMA Roadside assist! Don’t use it often, but comforting to know you’ll get help when you need it!
Short wait time, Mechanic arrived from Tweed Heads. Fast, efficient and friendly! Re set everything.... replaced the battery.... done and dusted! Great service Thank you!

Des, the NRMA patrolman arrived precisely as predicted, got to the root of my problem immediately, then drove 15klms to get an appropriate battery and installed in no time. He then noticed the headlight lenses were badly discolored and proceeded to clean them. I could not have been more pleased by the attention to detail and his genuine desire to ensure I would enjoy happy, safe motoring. Well done Des and NRMA

The Dreaded Flat Battery

Intended to go into town - flat battery. NRMA arrived within the hour (I live in the country). They didn't have the battery in stock, however, they returned later and I was mobile again. Full marks for their service.

Hello Kareena, If your battery has gone flat, and you are an NRMA Member - we can arrange a patrol to jumpstart your vehicle. You can also purchase a battery charger to restore charge in your battery too. Keep in mind though, continual flat batteries will also reduce the lifespan of the battery too. Understanding the current crisis although my job was complete - apart from my eftpos receipt for payment I did not receive a warranty form and full report which I got last time - I actually need this for my records . I spoke to customer service and they said it would be sent via email which is understandable in the current crisis where report handling on the road will be a safety precaution to the Serviceman.
