Business insurance was fast and efficient
My policy had the wrong email address attached to it hence it expired as my payment was more than 1 month late...however the team I spoke to managed to restored my policy and I didn’t have to start again.

I had NRMA business insurance for several years
I was an NRMA contractor for many years and also paid for NRMA business insurance but when my work vehicle went missing and all my tools were also taken i found out that NRMA decided to replace my tools with a cheaper product. Of course i complained and refused the replacement tools, this intern caused the insurer to CANCEL my claim. Their reason for this was they said i could not prove ownership even though they had previously approved the claim as the assesor said i could not have done the job for the past 13 years without tools also i had wr...Read more
itten stat decs from 2 NRMA managers who said they had seen and even used my tools although the insurer did agree that if i had a SELFIE with the tools they would uphold the claim? Now this claim is still being processed by the insurance OMBUDSMAN after nearly THREE years i think i wasted my time and money ever having NRMA insurance who would have thought such a big AUSTRALIAN company would be so petty.

TRY TO MAKE A CLAIM!!!!
This company have been paid $4500 every year to ensure our property, since 1993. We had an enormous break and entry, police involved, suspects imprisioned, one out on bail. A lot of our machinery recovered of which we had to transport home. However some of our items went missing. We spent money securing our property again after the break in. I have forfilled every request required by NRMA of which has almost tipped me over the edge. I am requested time and time again to submit quotes, pictures, discriptions to NRMA and the assessor whom it ...Read more
appears do not coordinate together. This break in was attended by the police whom got a search warrant on the suspects, whom they had been after for some months finding about $100.000 worth or our property. NRMA I would have thought would have been grateful for that. Our claim after this shocking experience is relatively small. My time spent speaking with NRMA claims department has been totally exhausting. They tell me everything is in order and I have supplied all the required documents, thereafter call to say they are awaiting more quotes. Every document I initially send I confirm receipt of. I speak with a different person every call, whom ask me all the same questions every time. To date this would be the worst company I have ever dealt with. I feel like a criminal, not a valued customer. Next complaint will be through Facebook, not only for our dissatisfaction but to warn others...Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Find out how NRMA Business Insurance compares to other Business Insurance
Know better, choose better.
NRMA sink to new low.
You know what, when a unscrupulous company that preys on OLD people robbed my mother for $13000 for a chair, I yelled loudly across all facets of the internet till she got a refund. When Ford service destroyed the engine in my car and tried to walk away I did the same till I got a new car. It takes a lot to rile me but I will not stand for injustice. Now NRMA I am going to make it my life's work to get justice for my boss. How dare you claim to lose our insurance policy, take our money then refuse to talk to us. Great, now it has ended up havin...Read more
g to go to court, and all I am left with now is to warn others of your disgusting business practices. For NRMA facebook to ask me for the claim number after you ignored us for 9months and in desperation I tried you on facebook to help 4months ago and nothing. That's all you ever do, nothing. Story follows- I have written on the facebook wall 4months ago and in that time absolutely nothing has changed. Our business of 20years which was still successful burnt to the ground. Police report zero suspicious circumstances. In my 55years I was always under the belief the NRMA was a decent company. To date after 9months the NRMA have simply refused to deal with our case. Instead claiming they LOST our policy and changing the person in charge of it weekly, while absolutely refusing to talk with us at any point. Some stock was paid to us but little else. Even the personal possessions of the staff has not been paid to us. WHY is this right and why are you doing this to us. I messaged the facebook timeline months ago and was told by someone who monitors it, to talk to the NRMA. This is a joke they simply refuse at any level to talk to us. I can only say this is easily the worst insurance company EVER I make no joke, what a horrifying mess they have put us through. Shame on you NRMA shame. Update, Chey from the NRMA facebook obviously under the false impression his company will respond to me if I give him a claim number, I can only say is deluding himself. This information has been given before and as usual ignored by the NRMA. I offered him to give me a name of someone in the NRMA that would TALK to their client but of cause as usual there is nobody that you can talk to in the NRMA. Update 6/8/14 letter arrives from the lawyers for the NRMA basically states- NRMA is big You are small we are happy to wait you out so, you go away. No really this is how a client is treated by the NRMA when you make a claim. Wow. So the NRMA after nine months of stalling and ignoring have chosen to tell us they are going to continue to ignore us. Sadly we have just plain tried to be nice and let them do the right thing. Time to push back, we may be a small business but we are part of a 300 plus store buying group and chain of stores, every step of the NRMA's treatment of our claim has been totally documented and now will be distributed to all in our group. Not to mention the dozens of review websites and blogs that our internet company is part of. We have played nice far too long, if you find it so hard to settle a simple fire claim, then fine it is time the way you have chosen to do business is reported across the business community and the web in general. I never imagined the NRMA was just this plain BAD. Update 7/8/14 Have got to love a boss that has kept every letter of text from the NRMA during this fiasco. What a absolute piece of work are the NRMA for 9 months they have dangled, in letters, they were sorting the claim but we had to KEEP paying the FULL insurance premium on the building that BURNED DOWN, for nine months we have been paying the FULL premium on a 2 million dollar building that does no longer exist. STILL. While the NRMA refuse to verbally talk to us, on the 6/8/14 a letter basically from the NRMA solicitors saying, tough luck take us to court. Once again I ask you Chey,of NRMA facebook give me the name and contact number of a HUMAN BEING in the NRMA who is prepared to talk to their client. DO NOT do business with these people, they are turning out to be the worst of any insurance company. nothing at all Everything, zero communication with their client, just bullyingSimilar opinion? No Phones Being Answered By Parramatta Branch, Only An Answering Mschine
I have tried to contact the NRMA Parramatta Branch a number of times in relation to my policy. All I get is an answering machine and when I do leave a message, no one gets back to me, meaning that I have to keep calling them. This, I think, is poor customer service. What are telephones for? The query I have cannot be done via email, as it takes up to 5 days to get a possible reply, and the website cannot address my query. I need to talk to somebody and all I get is a useless answering machine that takes messages and no call backs. Not good.
