Dodgy - 2 years later they sicked dodgy debt collector on me for $20
So this morning I get a text that I only have $21.49 remaining with Ola Cabs. I ring and spoke to a rude man at eCollect who stated I owed this amount for a trip in 2018. I have heard nothing from the company this whole time. I vaguely remember stopping using them as my card was low and they then disallowed my card, instead of just waiting a day or two and trying to deduct the money again, or allowing me to pay with another card. So the app was unusable. And why wait two years to follow this up? How about you call me and resolve it immediately. What a disgusting company. Because of your crap app that doesn't work. Stick with Aussie companies. Keep your money in Australia. Def wont use Ola again now you can bet on that.

Dodgy company
They have problem with the app and useless support team. App wasn't giving me a trips for more than 1 week. I contact them so many times. At the end finally got a trip with them but in app wasn't paid. I contact support team and they told me that I didn't done that trip. After they told me that I will not be paid I stop to drive for them. What a dodgy people.

ion and swip the button that have arived and to start navigation and app didn't ask me code like usually. App show me the road where to drive and I drove. I drove the pasanger and they changed drop off for few streets when they leave the car I swipe finish trip. Then app ask me the code (what is strange) I try to call pasanger but they already go into the building. I can understand that is quite in this days but to don't get request for 10 days isn't normal.And after that get a trip and don't get paid for that . That is dodgy! you guys are a bunch of money stiller, a legal fraud, your system and management are zero, duo your low budget system i couldn't pay a ride and many months after i been charge an extra fee for this mistake you guys are a scum and a fraud.

I use Ola to get to work and back. They are fast and friendly and have water and mints. I love the fact they play the music that you like.

Ola didn’t pay my Money
I joined Ola to see if the can do the jobs properly but I find out Uber still best for technical support, Easter Saturday 2020 I pick up the customer at 2:32pm who was doing Easter delivery, the customer told me don’t complete the trip because I have a lot delivery to deliver to customers and I send yes to him, so we finish the delivery at 7:30am on Easter Sunday, about 17 hours online, more then 300 km driving, I knew Ola driver app will be accounting the distance and time we did on the app, after complete the trip, Ola app couldn’t generate t...Read more

Overcharged and poor complaint management
I went to order my Ola and it said it ranged, more or less the midpoint being $75. Logically so I chose to ride with Ola as another ridesharing app was showing $93. When my ride ended I was charged $101!!! There is no way I would have accepted if this was the case. Worst Company I have ever dealt with.
During my time driving for this company, their app has been extremely faulty, with rides randomly getting canceled and summaries are not sent out as well. Resolving issues through there driver care is/was a nightmare and wouldn't recommend anyone to drive for them or even ride with them. Their discounts are a complete waste of time as the app barely functions correctly.

gents are working from home during this Covid-19 crisis so do not have the same structure where a team leader is easily available to assist. If you change your mind please provide identifying information and I will chase up your payment summaries to the best of my ability. Bad experience
I cant recommend ola service - never more. Confused, arrogant and their car arent under controls - I think safety. One time smell cigarettes inside car. One driver called me, where I am, when I ordered and waiting on him, I dont know why - drivers are from Lebanese (not willing), my experience - old cars and dont safety - never more.

Please do not ignore warnings. Do not use.
Speaking from experience, DO NOT USE Ola, especially if you are a young woman. I made a formal complaint with the company regarding a driver TOUCHING me, and they did next to nothing. I chased them for an update on the drivers case. PLEASE do not use this service. Please do not think saving a few dollars is worth it. BE careful. AVOID Ola. Think of safety FIRST.

Over charged. Very annoyed
I was recommended to use this instead of Uber apparently it was cheaper. I was charged $52 for a 21 minute drive with no traffic. I am honestly shocked. Can’t believe it ... very upset with this. I made a complaint on the app and none contacted me.

Overcharged, no response
Final fare was more than the maximum fare quoted when booking. No response despite several attempts to contact them. Unnecessarily toll road route was also taken without consultation from the driver.

Slow and reluctant customer service
I have waited almost two weeks for a refund for a driver that dropped me home and then continued to charge me as he drove home by himself. The driver managed to tick up over $100. Customer service keep telling me they will give me a refund but I have waited weeks for it.
I am a regular user of Ola so I find it terrible that they treat me this way. I wish this was a nice review as usually they are very good, however I need this to be sorted.

Disappointing
Finally gave Ola Cab a try after hearing positive review from a workmate.
Booked my first ride tonight and my Ola driver was 5 mins away, then checked my phone again while waiting and my Driver had suddenly disappeared off the map, with no explanation.
Another driver then connected to my ride request and was 5 mins away. The driver then appeared to stall and was taking a lot longer then 5 mins, the ETA seemed very inaccurate.

Ola is a rip off! It is not the first time that I have problems with Ola. I tell myself it has been the last time I use Ola for sure. I took an Ola yesterday, they showed the fare around $53-58 and then I applied a 30% off so it was $42-48. My surprise: they charged me $59!!!! Can you explain me that??? Rip off...

Disappointed
I used Ola because it was a cheaper alternative to uber but when my friend used my referral code, once they had their first ride, I never received my $20 referral voucher that had said to be given when you refer someone. On top of that, I always made sure I had enough money in the bank account before I catch ola and the money goes out everytime but my account went negative twice after 2 ola transactions went out after being pending for a few days. I added up the total cost I took with ola and the total cost that was taken from my bank account overall and the total cost that was taken from my account was more than what it is meant to be. Very disappointed and won’t be using ola again.

Charges more that what is initially shown
Went to city from Mooroolbark, initially it was showing 54- something but when I completed, ola charge me 79. Contacted customer service and they said it was shown as minimum and maximum but I didn't notice maximum fare other than in 6... The charge me busy 1.43 for busy time but day before I took Didi, same time same route to same place and I got only charge 61. Just used Ola because you can get velocity points but no longer using it again. Thank you.

Great experience
I love knowing that when I ride with Ola my drivers gets paid more (extra bonus that I pay less!) It’s a great way to make sure we’re all helping each other out especially in these difficult times.

I was charged much more than quote
False advertising: 1-Nowhere to apply a promo code when you book the ride.
2-Fare quoted $21-$28 but driver took long route and OLA charged me $60. I disputed and final was$37.

Hi Lindsay, I believe one of these charges may be the pre-authorisation hold. A pre-authorisation hold is placed based on the fare estimate when a ride is booked. Then once the ride is completed the actual fare is charged and the pre-authorisation hold is released. Depending on your bank it can take 2-3 days to disappear from your transactions list. Please provide the CRN (Customer Reference Number) from the 'Your Rides' section of the app? This will allow us to identify your account and confirm this for you. Thanks for your patience.

It is a pathetic service. I took Ola from the airport and the fare of $58 has been deducted from my card . However i got more deduction of $76 and the transaction says Temp hold which i understand is a temporarily hold one but my question is if you have already charged me then what is the point of holding a bigger amount than the fare?

Hi Cheryl, the temporary authorisation hold is based on the fare estimate and held at the time of booking. This amount is released on Ola's end as soon as the ride is complete - when the actual fare is charged. However, depending on your bank it can take a few days for the temporary hold to be removed. The $76 should be released shortly.
