I had recently started having an excess of saliva which caused severe irritation in the corners of my mouth and lips. After visiting my dentist I was advised that this could have been caused by Oral B toothpaste I had just started using. Since discontinuing the toothpaste - the problem has stopped

If I could give zero stars I would. I intend to formally write to Oral-B and lodge a complaint about the affects this toothpaste had on me. As soon as I started using it my gums and inside of my mouth began stinging. After brushing only twice I have ulcers under my top lip, under my bottom lip, and around the sides of the inside of my mouth. The salivary gland underneath my tongue is completely irritated and blocked (having formed a bubble) due to the irritation. This product should be immediately recalled. Oral B are continuing to sell a product that affects the health of consumers and this is prima facie negligent.

It’s Been a week since I have started using this toothpaste .. I have noticed that every time I brush my teeth I get white slimy thing in my mouth.. that is absolutely disgusting!!

White residue and peeling layer of skin on the inside of my mouth shortly after brushing my teeth. It’s quite off putting when you’re talking and there’s white stuff in your mouth :(

Horrible product, never had slime in my mouth from any other toothpaste, I've ditched Oral B. Possibly unsafe product, and these days not surprising, they pass poor quality for the sake of profit.

I have been using Oral-B fresh mint for about 4 years and loved it, until recently.
The recipe has been changed. The small gritty pieces that were in it and made my teeth feel clean and fresh, are gone.
WHY ? It's not the same anymore.

I have used this product for years and loved it.However out of the blue a couple of months ago,strips of skin were peeling from the inside of my mouth.it always happened for a few hours after cleaning.I knew this was not normal so sought advice from google.I was amazed when I seen some of these comments.I have now changed my toothpaste and today everything was fine.I cannot believe that there is no warning on this product.I will never use again.

I, like many others have suffered with painful gums and mouth after using this product. I have a patch of exposed root which causes extreme pain and a high flouride toothpaste helps this but after trying this product it actually inflamed the area and as soon as it touched the root it was real agony. An hour or so later, thick white shedding from the mouth appears around the gums and is absolutely disgusting. If you use it before you'll have a tickly cough all night whilst the lining of your mouth runs down your throat. Very horrible toothpaste.

Burns gums and leaves skin peeling inside mouth and stringy white substance from gums after using Oral B. I will not purchase this product again.

The toothpaste corrodes the lining of my mouth. My gums had been swollen for a week now and I'd switched to another brand of toothpaste. Brushing my teeth has never been this painful..

Although different flavours may taste weird, it does its job. Every time after I brush, i feel as thought my teeth are stronger, whiter and cleaner than they ever were before.

I used Oral-B Pro Health whitening toothpaste with really good results. A dentist recommended Oral-B 3-D white as an alternative and I find the results just as good, if not slightly better. I drink two cups of tea and two cups of coffee per day and my teeth were getting that yellowed look (at 62 years of age it's what you probably expect) but after using these toothpastes twice a day the results are markedly whiter teeth. I shall continue to use this brand of toothpaste.

This toothpaste is the best I have ever had in my entire life. I can't find anything like it and I despise other toothpaste types. I honestly considered just stopping any tooth-brushing all together when it got discontinued.

I have been using this product for 3 week now and I have been suffering with burning feeling in my mouth, and skin peeling as well as sores in mouth and tongue. I have never suffered with any of theses symptoms before. I stopped using the product for 2 days and my mouth started to heal. as soon as I started using it again all the symptoms came back.

Hard to judge how effective it is on your teeth but it definitely tastes like soap and get your mouth with a burned feeling. Maybe too effective product. That’s what it looks like according to some maybe too positive reviews...

When I first used oral b I thought I had food poisoning! Kept using it as was unaware it was the toothpaste making me feel nauseous, aching stomach. Once I realised I stopped using it, my mouth is still peeling, but stomach much better! Think I'm allergic to it. I have never had a reaction to toothpaste that bad!

I'm currently experiencing a high level of discomfort after using this product. Serious allergic reaction, burnt tongue and mouth lining, very swollen lips and extremely itchy neck. Judging by other comments I think Oral B has a problem with this toothpaste and it ought to be taken off the market. I'm leaving this review as I could not get Oral B's contact us site to work.

I started using the oral b Pro-Health toothpaste and after a few hours I had white peeling film on my lips and teeth and gums that looked like dead skin cells. Going to stop using this. Might invest in Colgate or Sensodyne

Has a gritty texture but really cleans plaque off. My teeth feel alot cleaner. Just dont mix it with mouthwash as i have and well it kinda has a burning sensation. Maybe wait half an hour then use mouthwash.

Fair enough it is more expensive, but if you wont your pearly whites to shine, buy it. It has a different taste and feels a little gritty, but its made by dentists so they should know. Less cavities means less dentist trips and no-one likes them. I use it and ive seen an improvement in whiteness and fresh breath,
