Excellent monitor
We bought this after having had a bad experience with a different brand. We could not be happier with the sound quality of this monitor and feel confident using it. The only thing we don't like about it is that the mute function activates automatically when the torch is turned on, but overall it has a great set of features. Baby especially loves the light show and the music and sounds are also very soothing.

Lots of features
Recently bought the Oricom Secure610 for our first baby and have been very impressed with the long list of features. My favourite feature is the nature sounds, its what I listened to as a baby as well. The nightlight has a dimmer mode and I also like the temperature alarm setting (can set upper and lower temperature limits so you don't feel as if you have to keep checking). Overall a great product.
All features, including clear sound and talkback, lullaby's and nightlight
If I'm being really fussy, would prefer the colour was more neutral (only comes in white/purple)

It's great, when it works...
We purchased this unit from baby bunting after reading lots of reviews about baby monitors. When it works it does everything as promised. However, our experience with this model is not good. We purchased the original monitor and about 3 months later the volume on the baby music lost a notch in volume and the control unit on/off button stopped working. I rang baby bunting who rang Oricom and told me to bring the unit in and they would see what is wrong. I was given a basic oricom unit as a replacement. unit as a replacement. All good until now .... The second, replacement unit, has been working fine for about 2 months until tonight when the baby monitor unit stopped working all of a sudden. We were alerted of this by the unlink alarm going off at midnight. I had to creep into the nursery and retrieve the non working monitor. I will have to get in contact with baby bunting again and see if oricom will replace their replacement unit, or perhaps we will look into a different brand. Not happy with oricom... WOW, This is Brilliant
We purchased this unit on the advice of store staff at Baby Bunting. The sales person was excited with this unit and promised us that it was full of features and would deliver the clearest of sound. Boy, she was not wrong and we were surprised and happy.
The sound quality of the monitor is superb and we can hear the slightest of noises with absolutely no static. The ceiling projector is very good quality and has workeds a treat in calming bub. The built in lullaby's and nature noises are really good quality and again have worked a treat in giving bub a bit of background noise to sleep to.
Fantastic price, unbelievable features, superb sound quality
Have not been able to fault it yet.

I have plugged it in its on and charging for the 24hrs before removing but i have a contastat shhushng noise coning throught the unit and it only stops when i press the talk button or when mute all is on how do i stop this???? I dnt want to have it on mute when im sleeping but i dnt want to be kept awake but the constant shhhushong sound

I have no one idea who your reps are over the phone but they need to be retrained, i bought a 610 through a 3rd party and they exchanged it no worries they were greay sadly the replacement is still faulty so i call oricom i was told that for my troubles they would send me out the 520 the newer model to the 610 and send a prepaid slip to send my 610 back to them i get a call yoday to tell me this camt happen and theu wont be doing what theu said the friday of last week not only is this inconsiderate but poor customer service when i asked to speak to a supervisor i was told NO call back tomorrow... to top things off i have a 18month old and im nearing then on my second pregnancy so im in need of a baby monitor...

We used our sc610 for our 1st child and were very happy with it but we have just pulled it out in preparation for our 2nd and the lcd on the handheld device is unreadable? It should still be under warranty but can't find the original receipt. What options do we have?

Hi Bob, I'm not sure. Without proof of purchase it can be hard. My advice would be to contact the customer service team at Oricom to see what they can do for you.
