Wow!!
My daughters straightener (Cloud 9) stopped working one morning this week, she was in desperate need of a new one immediately. I started to search for a new one after contacting cloud 9 but their customer service was not the best so I decided it was time for a new one, since it coincided with my daughters birthday within that week. ours away that it was going to get there on time. To top it all off he offered a very generous discount and promise some freebies. Wow!! the freebies wasn't just a small sample he send a hair dryer!! He must've known I was in need of one....But not only that, Dave send the parcel by express post and true to his word my daughter received her (and mine) goodies on her birthday. Exceptional service is what I received I wish more businesses would do the same. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone plus you have peace of mind if your'e not happy you can return the goods within 14 days plus you have 3 years warranty totally unheard of nowadays with small appliances. So far my daughter is happy with her straightener just needs to get used to the vibration as for the hairdryer I haven't used it yet.3 comments

For my 2c worth, and I'm sure you will agree :) The support for a product shouldn't be kept separate from a product review. Years ago (and I'm talking a few decades lmao) my Gran always used to tell me, don't look at the problems a company has, but how it deals with their problems. That was back in the early 80's and I always took that seriously to heart - as it just seems like common sense. The question, therefore being, Do I trust the product that didn't ever go wrong, or the product that went wrong and the company bent over backwards to fix me up. Sadly, as a small company, we are also consumers, and we have found that over the last 10-15 years that the multi-nationals just continue to stitch us up and it's infuriating beyond any human measure. We're sick and tired of talking to overseas call centres, deciphering bad English, and being given ridiculous run-arounds for support. It could be that the days of companies such as ours are numbered, but I would like to believe that other Aussies have our back. Lots of love from us in Wamberal NSW, Dave & DalmaSimilar opinion? Exceptional Customer Service from Dave at OzHead
Outstanding customer service from Dave from OzHead. A great product that does a great job. I won an OzHead hair straightener Easter of 2015 on a FB contest. It started to have some issues a few weeks ago. I emailed customer service and asked if I could still return it for a new one seeing that I won it. Dave was very quick to reply to my email and a new straightener was in my local post office within 2 business days at no expense to myself (even shipping). Thank you Dave and OzHead! s. I've been using OzHead for nearly 5 years now. A great product and exceptional customer service. Don't complain on this site if you haven't tried to contact their customer service. Give them a chance to rectify any issues. For those that complain about it not working well and have fuzzy hair, try using the serum they sell. I've used some of the most expensive serum for my extremely frizzy and curly hair in the past, and theirs is the best and most affordable by far. Thank you again!1 comment

Excellent Customer Service
We have two hair straighteners and one decided to "pack it in" after about 15 months. When I called regarding a replacement straightener, the conversation lasted about 2 mins - I only needed to give a very brief explanation of what was wrong and the Ozhead team said, "Sorry it's not working, we'll post a new one out to you today". Fantastic and hassle free customer service. Thanks.

And they walk the talk!
After two years of being totally thrilled with my OzHead straightener, it died. I sent it back to OzHead, and with no fuss, no delay, and no arguments was sent a replacement.
I cannot recommend the product or company highly enough.
I initially purchased the goody box and the hair-dryer still makes me feel happy to use, and has not missed a beat.
The straightener works perfectly and the results stay. I love the cord length!

Great customer service
I ordered the straightener and received it the next day. she was kind enough to give me the heat mat with the little toy. waived the shipping for me, I have long thick hair. I put the straightener to 230c temp. heated up really quick. I use small portion of my hair at a time straighten. It took a good 20mins to fully straighten my hair. after finishing the hair looks nice. I did straighten my hair last evening and I woke up this morning the straighten has almost gone. I was impressed last night. but disappointed this morning.

emperature - as it took 20 minutes to straighten I'm guessing that you have very long hair or thick? The only other thing I could suggest would be to try it on freshly washed hair that is very well towel dried, perhaps with a touch of serum. If all else fails, then of course we want you to be very happy and would gladly offer you a replacement of a refund. Great products....excellent service.
I purchased a hair straightener and a hair dryer from OzHead. Both excellent products. The hair straightener had to be returned and it was replaced immediately...service was friendly and efficient. All made very easy. Thanks so much!! I highly recommend OzHead.

Fab customer service
I had my OzHead straightener for a year without any issues. It worked just as well as my GHD at a lesser cost. (GHD died just shy of 2 years without daily use)
Anyway I never previously wrote a review but now feel compelled to. On the weekend my straightener started playing up. I emailed the company and within Monday morning a new straightener was in the mail. Most companies make it so hard to claim warranty. Not OzHead. The experience was amazing.

I have had a wonderful experience with oz head! When I first ordered my straightener it was here the next morning and came with a cute bunny rabbit teddy! I did have an issue with the vibrating not working and then the straightener stopped working. As it was still in warranty, I sent an email and it was so easy they sent out a new one straight away and even with the return post bag in it so I didn't even have to pay a return post. So caring and professional. So happy with my oz head, I love that you can adjust the heat unlike ghd or diva! Wonderful Australian product. I love it!

Excellent Customer Service - Straightener not that great...
Time for an honest review. My GHD isn’t performing as well as it used to (it’s about 5 years old) and has a few chips on the plates which seem to be growing. So I thought, it’s time for a new straightener! I didn’t know if I wanted to stay with GHD (especially since they are expensive), so I did a little research and found OzHead. raightener, mascot toy, hair serum and heat mat. Express shipping was good, arrived in about 2 working days. I opened the box, took out the MKIII and observed it closely. Well, to my disappointment there were 2 chips on 1 plate - it look like a manufacturing defect, almost like a tiny bubble had popped and left a tiny crater. If I want chips on my plates, I can keep my old straightener. The plates also don’t line up very well, they have a gap at the end closer to the handle. The styler feels like cheap plastic. Let’s get on about how well it performed... I plugged the MKIII into the wall as I wanted to at least give it a try. As the plates heated up a foul smell came from it - although, come to think of it, I have experienced this with cheap curling irons and hair crimpers (like melting plastic). The plastic also felt quite hot. I ran the MKIII through a small section of hair. Result: It’s average, I wasn’t wowed. I tried it with the notorious vibrating mode on through another section. Actually startled me whilst using it, I don’t think it makes a difference during styling. Perhaps a marketing gimmick? Bitter disappointment aside, I turned the MKIII off, waited for it to cool down and put it back in it’s box as it was before. I looked at the rest of the package and scolded myself for getting the whole “Goody box”. I’ve had a bad experience with mini straighteners before - particularly with a Remington one a few years ago. They’re not good, they don’t work as they advertise to and are not supposed to replace a real full sized straightener anyway (I wouldn't recommend a mini straightener to anyone for any reason - spend the extra money and get a real straightener). I took it out of the box anyway to inspect it. It had a pretty bad paint job on the plastic near the plates, I wasn't surprised to be honest. Again, I packed it up as it was and put it back on the box. I took a few photos of the chips, wrote an email to OzHead Admin with said photos attached. Can I say, best customer service ever?! I had a quick response from [name removed], very apologetic, stating she will send me a new MKIII and include a prepaid reply satchel to send the the other one back. Very impressed. So I waited for the new one patiently, hoping I will be happy with it, hoping that the first one was a lemon. And so the new one arrived! I opened the box, inspected the plates and… wait, wait a minute. Scratches? What? I ran my finger across the plates. Yep, scratches. A nice scratch on both plates, parallel to each other. Again, I can only assume that this happened during the manufacturing process. Back to the PC to write another email. The following day I posted everything back. Including the Hair Iron Holder that came free to me with the replacement MKIII. As I was returning it back in the 14 day money back guarantee period I received a full refund including the extra postage I paid for. As far as customer service goes, these guys are great. Very helpful, going out of their way to do what they can. Their only downfall is the quality of MKIII, wherever it is made really should have a quality control check. I don’t think it’s fair to have a product whose quality doesn't reflect that of the staff and the business. I cannot criticize the people who represent this business, they do their very best - it’s just not a very good product. And so, my journey continues to find a new hair straightener.1 comment

Wonderful customer service
I could not remember when I purchased this straightener and of course could not find my receipt.
Last week it stopped working and I emailed ozhead to see if it was still under warranty. Next day I was instructed to send it back for review as it was still under warranty. Within 3 days I received brand new updated model in post.
3 year warranty. Australian company - no fuss replacement

Superb warranty!!
Hi Guys,
Just want to the thank the team at Oz Head. I had been having issues with the heating on my hairstraightener. The team at Oz Head answered my emails promptly and within less than a week (after sending my old hair straightener back to OZ Head), I had a brand new hairstraightner waiting for me at my very door step.
Despite having issues with my old straightner, I do love the product :) And I thoroughly recommend for all those considering purchasing a hairstraightner to look into buying one from OZ Head.
