I purchased Ypres for my Mum for Christmas, received an email immediately saying it was out of stock. I have been trying to get a refund as it is now 18/04/2020, no one answers my emails anymore.

My daughter put in an order March last year for Kate Moss perfume for her Nanna.... they've taken $49 an told her it wasn't in stock would you like to wait...she said yes.
I've been trying to get in touch with emails to get her money back an they're completely ignoring me,they have no right to keep a child's money.
How else can I get on top of this to get her money back ...if anyone can help.

I ordered a perfume on the 7th of a March from perfumecompany.com.au only to receive an email informing me of out of stock and it will be months or not sure when it will be in stock again after it was advertised in stock when i bought it, as soon as i read the email i thought this email sounds very familiar,
in august of 2022 i purchased the same perfume from a company called fincheapperfume.com.au, the exact same email the same wording.
They're obviously the same company using a different name.
last year i reported them to fair trading nsw, i got my money back,
i will be doing the same with this company.
They have to be stopped, ripping people off is an offence and NOT allowed.
I advice everyone to do the same.

Sadly, I'm having a similar experience to many other reviewers of perfumeshops.com.au with perfumecompany.com.au and wondered if they are one and the same as modus operandi is almost identical. Ordered a rare perfume (YSL Yvresse) on 20 January 2020, advised it was out of stock, offered option to wait for restock or buy a similar product, then subsequently advised there was no guarantee of supply date, so cancelled the order on 27 February 2020 and still waiting for refund to credit card. Never had an issue purchasing anything online, so hope this isn't the first. Will be contacting my bank, Fair Trading NSW and media if refund not sorted by COB 6 March 2020. First world problem, but a frustrating experience all the same.

If only I had read these reviews before I purchased and paid for yvresse perfume, which was supposedly out of stock. They advised that they were waiting for stock which was not true, as this perfume is not being made anymore. Unfortunately waited for stock to arrive before realising something was wrong.
Requested refund in October then November then December19 to no avail.
They have now stopped communicating.
I will use all of my resources to locate these scammers and send people to collect.

I have had the exact same experience as all the ladies below! DO NOT buy from these low lives! I would also give zero stars as it is purely a scam.

I would give zero if I could. I ordered a perfume in Dec 18. They came back saying it's not in stock and are you happy to wait. I said yes as it was a rare perfume. Followed up late in Oct19. Emailed back saying delivered in Jan19. I asked for shipping info as I never received it. No response since then even after multiple emails. Paypal can't do anything as more than 3 months old. I have lodge the complaint through Fair Trading and about to do so with my bank as well. If you have ordered a perfume through them, make sure you ask for refund straight away and get Paypal and your bank involved straight away! Will be interested to know how other buyers got their money back.

Waited over 3 weeks for perfume before I followed up. They said it was currently sold out and were waiting for more product form supplier. After a further 3 week follow up I still heard nothing. When I emailed they mentioned their supplier could not give them a definite date. They had no idea when they would receive stock. I asked for a refund at this point which I had to follow up on at least 2 occasions before they finally did it.

ALSO I would like to point out, the whole time they still had this product advertised on their website as "IN STOCK"!! Knowing full well people would purchase but they did not have stock. They basically had my money in their account for a minimum of 4 weeks....DO NOT GO THROUGH THESE GUYS!!!

Do not purchase from this site. Will not supply goods and then will not refund money.

Sent various emails to seller requesting refund and no response

My story is exactly the same as the other reviews. I waited a month and then asked for refund. Waited a week and then followed up. They asked me for my bank details. When I complained they said they were having IT issues. I have complained to Fair Trading NSW.

Ordered a perfume that said available, 4 days later, I got the same email as everyone else in the comments below RE not having it in stock / reordering or potential refund. Opting the refund, it took more than a month of nonsense correspondence via seemingly polite emails but I eventually got my refund after applying pressure. I just wish I’d read these reviews before the purchase!! What a RAW DEAL!!

Never buy from this company! Full of crap. Distrustful! Many times tried to buy and always after I pay they send the message that my item is out of stock. Luckily I always pay by PayPal, so they can't scams me. Straight away offered return.

Don't ever shop here!! These guys have no intention of supplying any product you purchase online - they're just out to steal your dollars!!
The only thing you'll ever receive from them is a string of seemingly polite emails which are, in reality, total crap...

Similar to other posts they took my money, sent me the out of stock email and offered a refund. After some polite but constant pressure I received my refund 5 days later. Relieved to get the refund and honestly not sure what the deal is. Just a poorly run business or something a bit more suss? If you want to give them the benefit of the doubt strongly suggest making contact first to ensure items are in stock because the website is obviously not updated.
