Permagard is a hoax, just like any other product that claims it can be applied once and stay on for life. It’s physically impossible!

Here’s 2 other facts. First, they don’t provide a warranty on the vehicle. They provide it to the owner. Go figure! They don’t match the vehicle’s vin to the treatment applied. They match it to the owner’s name and to the number plate. What if those 2 things change over time? Makes it so hard for the customer to make a claim.

I have owned 4 new cars in my life time and not once have I ever applied any paint protection to any of them. All cars have almost maintained swirl free. Spending $60000 plus on my current car was talked into investing in paint protection big mistake. 2 months old car has more swirls then any of my older cars which have been handed down to family members. Got the full permagard package done on my new baby through the dealership about 4 weeks ago, now I'm under no illusion as to what ceramic coats/paint protection coatings can and can't do, but I don't think water is suppose to stick or stay on the car like that, nor do I think watermarks are suppose to be left behind after a bit of rain i may be wrong but something ain't right here, It does look like it helps with bird and insect droppings, also cleaning is a bit easier, but still nothing to write home about and the tinting is of excellent quali...Read more

I had my used Jaguar F-Pace coated - it was 1 year and 10k km old when Permagard was applied - initially wasnt totally happy so contacted Permagard and to their credit they sent one of their techs to reapply the product ( takes about 3 hours) and the car and paint look good. Last week I purchased a new Mitsubishi Triton GLX plus from Sutton's Motor Group Arncliffe.
I discussed having permagard put on the vehicle and paid $1173 combined with window tint and car mats.
I flew to Sydney picked up the car and drove home excited about my new car.

The next day after travelling home and doing 750km I washed the car as there was a few bugs splattered on the front.

I went and purchased new low pH car wash and whilst washing the car it was plain to see the permagard had not been applied properly.

Water beeded off parts of the car and not other parts, and to say I was disappointed was an understatement.

Ok,here is my recent experience with Permagard
Went to a Medical Conference to Byron Bay resort,I was surprised there was no undercover car park, I worried as I had to leave my car under the sun unprotected from birds and weather.
The next morning I saw the car covered with birds poo, I panicked and I was worried as I know what bird poo can do to the paint.
My wife said don't worry,you have Permagard protection,I said yeah but I was still worried !!
