Previously with price matching the store would call the other cheaper store or check online. However now apparently due to "improved changes" staff are not allowed to do so. The staff member said she couldn't as she was being watched by a camera. What a lovely work environment!

Have been buying most of my dog's food and other things here since she was a puppy. Staff have always been helpful & friendly & genuinely care about providing you with products that suit your pet. If we are anywhere near a store my dog can't wait to say hello & have a pat & a treat at the register. Most have the diy $10 dog washes & they are very easy to use as you go through the cycle and shampoo/ condition/ rinse and dry to your liking with the one hand held shower house in the secure bay & products must be good quality because my dogs skin is a bit sensitive & she is never itchy or scratching afterwards.

Peto now sells items online, unfortunately my brand of litter is still only available for pickup, possibly because it's heavy. I've also noticed that I was unable to rate something online that I had bought in the store.

I really like Peto, they're best selling points are their staff who are helpful and friendly and their convenience. On a couple of occasions I've asked if they stocked an item and they've volunteered to get it in for me.

Their prices are not outrageous and they can sometimes be cheaper than other stores.

I’m not sure why some people have written poor reviews about their grooming, they don’t do grooming, maybe it’s a mix up.

The staff are the best, better than any store I’ve been in a long time!

The prices are better than online and a huge range of products. They must have five or six rows of just treats, my dog picked his own!

New customer to PetO, visited the Chatswood store. I went in to purchase food I was running low on (for our cats), a lovely lady served me - I think her name was Tracey – and I ended up purchasing a few extra things for our cats. So pleased with the products that Tracey recommended – as are my cats! I also signed up to the Loyalty Club, and received some vouchers which I can use towards my next purchases. Overall – great store and super friendly & helpful team.

Long time customer of PetO. It saddens me to see negative reviews as I’ve only ever had great experiences in store (shopping at both Alexandria and Annandale stores.) My dog loves his trips to PetO, the team know him by name and always have treats waiting for him! It puts a smile on my face

Found them to be very customer service focused, especially Ronnie from the Alexandria branch. dropped everything and went out of her way for me which I was really impressed by. She really knows her products well.

The Mona Vale team are great. Every time we visit the store, they go above and beyond to help and advise us on the best products for each of our pets. We always leave the store feeling happy with our purchases

We stumbled across the Annandale store and it has become our dogs new favourite place. They have all the brands and products we love to shop - including an awesome Pick n Mix treat table - which means we can buy all different treats rather then in packs. The team is also a big reason we shop there - always helpful and very knowledgeable about the products they sell. Another great thing is the onsite DIY dog wash and groomer.

PetO have removed prices from their website since my last visit on 15th Feb 2018. The only thing they had going for them at Annandale store was the friendly, helpful staff and the 10% price match guarantee. They are way more expensive than mypetwarehouse. This is such a dodgy move on the part of PetO. What reputable business does this?

Went in to Rockdale store to buy a dog collar and items for my fish tank. I chose a dog collar and a staff member came up and said did you find what you want and I said yes and held up the collar they said "I will take that and put it on the counter". I thought do they think I am going to steal it. I also wanted to get Revolution, but it was $20 more than I normally pay at a Roselands pet store. They offered to price match but it was still more, and that I was lucky they offered a discount without proof I said no, I would rather go to my local store who are courteous and do not overcharge in the first place.

I took the dog with me to shop a few things and as we were waiting at the counter a staff member offer a treat for my dog.
My dog was happy eating the treat when a small angry dog comes from behind the counter and bite my dog on the face.
The staff wasn't apologetic. I asked whether those dogs (2) are always kept behind the counter and they said yes. Very traumatic experience without provocation. I won't return to that store.

I booked my dog in for a summer clip. The cut they gave him was so funny! They charged me for a style clip but I have no idea what breed clip they gave him. He also didn't smell like they had bathed him at all so I had to do that the next day. All in all I couldn't recommend them. Cost was $85 for a small dog.

Every time I go to Pet O, I promise myself to not to return to this shop. I frequently broke my promises, but this time I will not go back. If you are prepared to get ripped off massively and not to get a reasonable customer service, then the place to shop for your pet's needs, is Pet O.
The latest example was today, 20th of November 2014.

I was greeted by a staff member without the greeting part. While part of my purchase was on the counter, she served to someone else first, not a big deal, but poor customer service goes very well with non-competitive and very expensive prices.
