If I steam vegetables and meat what should be time and the amount of water? Considering that for vegetables is 15 min (150ml) and meat is 20 min (200ml). Additional to this is the steamer reaches 20 min should I stop it or should I wait for the beep?
If there is water remain represents a big issue? Thank you

I forget to descale the tank after 4 weeks.I clean it around 7 weeks. Yes it was brown from inside.Can food get contaminated from it.

How do you open the steamer lid in the 4in1? We have pieces of meat inside and cant find a way to open the lid. TIA

Thanks for your question. The plastic part fitting may be tight at first usage, but rest assured. This is normal due to the material characteristics. Hello, I have 4in1 model. Everytime after steaming (no matter the time or the food), when I turn the jar upside down for the blending option, excess water leaks into the jar. Is that normal?

Thanks for your question. It is actually quite normal for a bit of water to get in the jar when turning it upside down. This is simply steam that is released from the products you're steaming, so it's perfectly safe. Hopefully this helps. :)

My rubber valve is missing. Is there a spare part for that? Or is it really necessary to put the rubber valve on the cover?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. How odd! Carrot stains can be pretty difficult to remove. The dishwasher didn't do the trick? We would recommend to let it soak for a while in hot soapy water, or in hot water with baking soda. We'll cross our fingers for you!

Hi there, i keep trying to use the steamer function and every time i flick from off to steam the orange light comes on for a second beeps and then turns off. Intermittently it will then turn on solidly then beep again and turn off. Any help?

I’ve never had this issue, wondering what this might be, is there enough water in the unit? Has the unit been decalified lately? Has it worked fine before?

Hi,
I have a Philips Steamer blender and while it’s very helpful, off late the steaming function only keeps beeping every 1 minutes. The food still gets steamed but the annoying noise comes on atleast 10-15 times during the steaming session. Is the machine trying to tell me something?

After steaming a burning smell in the water lid and brown water in the food department.
No answer was provided to noone regarding this issue except for calling the support unit.
