worked well for 3 weeks then just stopped
like a lot of the other reviews here, it worked well and then just stopped. I'll end it back to Phillips but it is not cheap, and wonder if Phillips need to acknowledge the product obviously has a significant fault and is hurting their reputation

Thanks I will and will post it back, I like the product and when it was working it was great, I don't want a refund I liked the product. The battery is fully charged, but when you push the top button nothing, the nozzle is not blocked or anything.

Stops working after 2 weeks
My airflosser simply stopped working after a couple of weeks. It just emits a long beep when I try to use it. This is the second one to do this in the last two months ! Am i doing something wrong ? The product is fabulous.... 5 stars when it works. So disappointed
However, I have spoken to the Phillips hotline and they were very helpful and are sending me a new one. Great customer service

Does a great job while it works
This is my 3rd Airfloss in 12 months. The first 2 lasted 8 months & 2 months individually. I purchased this one from Harvey Norman just prior to Christmas. Tonight it just "karked it" like the others did. Less than 2 weeks old. Just gives a shrill beep & no pump action. I will take it back to Harvey Norman tomorrow. Very disappointing as it is not cheap to buy.

Great product, but easy to broke, and not excellent warranty
I bought it in April 2016, now it is the 2nd time it was broken. The problem is all same, no water come out with just biiii sound. Now I have to post it back to Berowra and pay $10 postage. I am afraid if it happens again and again in the future, I would pay for more $10 postage in the 2 years warranty, making the product much more expensive and time consuming than expected.

Great Product
I decided to try this as I found the manual floss picks were becoming really expensive to buy as both my husband and I use them daily. The initial price put me off at first but I decided to try it and I really love the product. It is much quicker to use than manually flossing between each tooth and it does a much better job removing all the bits caught between your teeth. The only thing I don't like it that it tends to spray water everywhere! Other than that it does a great job.

Very useful but it brok down after 5 months.
As with the other reviews, I have to agree that this device is faulty. After a few months of good work and making my gums better, now when I press the button it makes a hiss and turns off. No way to revive it.

is for you. On the back of the handle there is a reservoir door, if you open this you will find a reservoir vent at the bottom. Could you please check if this vent is blocked? It is important to keep this clean, for example using a moist piece of paper towel or a cotton swab. Clean the vent as well as the outside of the inside edge of the reservoir door. Rinse well with cold tap water, and ensure there is no debris left. Please be careful not to allow debris into the reservoir fill opening. We hope this helps! 2 week lifespan before replacement twice
this is a brilliant product for 2 weeks until it blocks and no longer functions, the excellent people at Shaver Shop were kind enough to replace the product which then repeated to fail within 2 weeks. I was able to clear the blockage with compressed air and buy a further 2 weeks before it once again failed. This time not returning to function at all. A very disappointing history and another return to Shaver Shop for a replacement is in my future. Some serious design flaws require rectification

Wish I could give negative stars. 1 rates this too high.
We have had an Airfloss for years and loved it. Saw this one and decided to replace it with a newer version. Based on our experience with the old one we expected another great product. Such a disappointment. It failed in less than a month. Returned to store and got it replaced with a new one. It failed in less than 2 weeks. The gentleman in the store said that from what he has seen, every single one of them that has been sold in that store has been returned. Apparently, it is simply a defective design and Philips just keeps selling them. Needless to say, Philips has lost a long time (formerly) happy customer. I will not support a company like this with my money.

Having always had tartar build-up issues my dentist recommended an airflosser as I hate having him clean my teeth every six months or so. Purchased the Phillips AirFloss Ultra HX8331/01 from David Jones on 24/3/2016.
I really wanted the AirFloss to be the solution because I find daily flossing a challenge. Initially, it seemed as if it was the solution - doing a good job of cleaning between my teeth.
Within a week it was not getting around to all of my teeth before it would stop working. It would emit a high pitched sound without the pulses of water. By the end of the second week the unit was not producing any pulses of water while still emitting the sound.
I will be returning the AirFloss for a refund. I value my time. I can't risk continuing to waste time on returning products on the off chance that one of them might work.

Stopped working
I have HX8331/11 ordered online from Amazon. loved it until it stopped working after 2 weeks!!!! I was in the middle of using it when it stopped and strated making a whistling/beeping/sucking noise. Have read many reviews and it seems many others having the same problem. Don't know what to do with this product now? Can it be fixed?

Very Disappointed. Constantly faulty
Was very excited to purchase my new Philips Airfloss Ultra. First one worked for 1 day and then refused to pump.. Went back got a replacement, second unit lasted 2 days and this one wouldn't turn off. On to my 3rd unit now after purchasing new only a few weeks ago.. This third unit has failed again on first attempt after charging for 24hrs.... Going back to Harvey Norman for a refund tomorrow!! Lost all faith in this product. Will try the Panasonic instead.

Quite a Disappointment
I purchased a Sonicare AirFloss Ultra on 18 December 2015 on the advice of an endodontist. Unfortunately the unit ceased working within two weeks. When I turned it on and pressed the activation button it emitted a high-pitched sound but failed to emit the pulses of water.
