All or nothing
My sonicare was just out of warranty when it stopped working. It 'buzzed' but did not vibrate enough to clean my teeth. I was happy to buy a replacement wand or pay to have it repaired but was told that was not possible by the support team. I would like to keep using but not keen on paying out $317 for all the other bits like the charging unit, spare brushes and travel case. I guess it's back to Oral B for me.

Excellent toothbrush but only lasted 18 months !!
I really like how clean my teeth felt and looked after using this toothbrush. I am however extremely disappointed in the fact that this is my second Phillips electric toothbrush (the last one was the white one and lasted 2 years) that has stopped working after only 18 months !! Surely given how much it cost, you would expect it to last longer. I am extremely frustrated and unhappy at the prospect of having to purchase another one so soon, this clearly wasn't my expectation

Short life
I had this toothbrush for 13 months. It gave a great clean but then it started turning itself on and flattening the charge. When I tried to charge it, it charged for a couple of hours the turned itself on again. I threw it away and bought a cheaper one as 360 dollars is too much if you have to replace it every year or so

Not worth the extra money
I’ve had decent electric toothbrushes in the past that were around a third of this price of this unit, but I take my oral health seriously so I thought I’d splash out to get something that’s top of the range, but I have been disappointed.
I think the cleaning is great, but not significantly different to other brushes I’ve used which were under $100, so essentially the additional cost is for all the bells and whistles that this brush comes with and that’s where I feel let down.

it worked intermittently and I often used to come back to an unusable brush. Then when I broke the glass I realised it would cost $45 to replace which isn’t going to happen! · The unit is not very good at indicating when it needs to be charged – I do get the odd double vibration, but for the most part it usually dies mid-clean. LOVe this toothbrush, BUT.......
I love this toothebrush! I am very particular about the brushes ive used in the past. This toothbrush makes my mouth feel so clean. My dentists have complemented on how clean my teeth are. Unfortunately i have had TWO of these brushes stop working. the first one was the white one, it stopped roughly after two years. The current one is the black one, and it just stopped working roughly under two years of having it. I am so bummed. For the price, i cant see myself purchasing a third one and risk having it go out also after two years or so. I may have to try another. :(

I purchased my Philips Sonicare Diamondclean toothbrush from Harvey Norman after my trusty old oral B finally stopped working. It was on sale at the time, but at $279 I believe this is still quite a lot to pay for a toothbrush.
The first time I used it I noticed how slim the head was because it was easy to get around in my mouth. My old oral B had a lot bulkier head. The philips brush head does not fill with water like the oral B head used to. My teeth feel and look cleaner.

This Cordless Toothbrush is Great BUT the Replacement Heads cost a FORTUNE!!
The unit itself operates just as described on the Philips Website. I am the only one that used it - charges well - runs well although a little noisy - it is reliable - and looks good (Not that this is really important). The MAJOR issue is the cost of replacement heads. Just as an example - at Shaver Shop it will cost you $39.95 AUS with $10 Postage for 3 x Genuine Replacement Heads - this is, in my opinion, ridiculous!!! That's nearly $17 per replacement head. Three replacement heads indeed cost around $39.95 in Australia, but please keep in mind that you can use those three heads for nine months in total before you need to replace them again. Warranty claim process is very good
My Diamond Clean toothbrush malfunctioned after about 18 months usage. I lodged a warranty claim on Monday and received a new brush on Wednesday. It's never good to have a problem but Philips acted without fuss and very quickly. Excellent!

My old electric toothbrush finally broke. I had a dental appointment for a checkup and mentioned that I was just using a manual brush until I could get another electric toothbrush.
I was going to just get the same one as I had previously as it made my teeth feel much cleaner than if I were to just use a manual brush but my dentist recommended this brand. She said the physical movement of the sonicare was much better for my teeth and gums than the electric brush I was using.

Absolutely changed my brushing experience. For something we all should do twice a day this is a must for everybody. Looking after your teeth saves big money long term. Its a small investment for a great outcome.

Fantastic for travelling
Finally I have an electric toothbrush to take away!
The travel case with especially the USB charger is awesome.
And fab design and quality, so clever. The glass cup charger is very clever too.

Magnificent little machine

Best toothbrush
Highly recommend. I have used other electric toothbrushes, but nothing cleans as well as this one. Teeth always feel great after brushing. Love the different settings. Stylish and fantastic battery life.

just arrived
Arrived today. Haven't used it though yet as giving it it's full 24 hour charge before use. Packaging, travel case and product itself look extremely slick and well made... Can't wait to use it tomorrow.

We're having a very noisy problem with our black DiamondClean. We've replaced the heads as per Philips advice online, so we know it is not that...
Unfortunately now when brushing our teeth, it's so loud it sounds as if there's a hedge trimmer being used in the ensuite!! The other morning I used it without turning on so as not to wake my sleeping husband. This is not ideal!! Any ideas?

We had the same issue. We were able to fix it temporarily using the advice in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-2QBRPq7DE&t=565s
But it appeared something was broken in our case and only extended its life by about 6 months. If you're still on your warranty I'd send it back.
Thanks Piet. My husband contacted Philips and they've resolved the issue for us by sending us a replacement handset unit. It's so nice to be back to brushing our teeth in peace & quiet!!! Philips really looked after us!

I don't think so, the vibration isn't that strong and the toothbrush is light and soft.
Not that I am aware and I certainly have had no problems with this and I have been using electric toothbrushes for many years.
