Just a money hungry business
Absolutely terrible business! All they are after is money and not at all willing to help you. They were ready to repossess my fridge after 3 missed payments which totaled $105 and they added $30 in late fees. I have been with them for 3 years and have one year left on my contract. I’ve had 3 years of paying for my fridge and still after 3 missed payments they were ready to come take it from me. Your better off buying a cheap 2nd hand item until you can afford the real thing. I’ve paid 10x more for my fridge than what it’s worth. Terrible customer service and not willing to help or come to some arrangement if struggling for money. Definitely do not recommend for anyone!

Avoid this company like the plague
They did not have the bed I wanted wasn't available so they organised a different one which broke - the fridge was fine - I fell behind on some payments and organised for $100 to come out of my bank acct each week to cover the $300 in arrears - I am harassed DAILY on the phone by what sounds like an outsourced contact centre about payments - worst communication within company I have EVER seen - would do more than not recommend - would stand outside the store and stop people from going in

I had been trying for months to get a answer on the where abouts of my 300 Visa card is six months later iam told it was sent and activated and that’s that well iam taking it further because I never received card and their handling of the matter is a disgrace

my partner and i signed paperwork to buy a modular lounge and it was the only one left. Very helpful friendly staff at the Mayfield branch
I've rent buy products from radio rentals in two stores,both stores have been helpful and friendly. On time delivery with well presented staff. There products have been trouble free in both occasions.

Unprofessionals and liars
Two years ago I was approved by Radio Rentals and was able to get two of their products. Last week I moved from Sydney to Queensland and the (un)professional people from the Penrith store told me I could return my products in New South Wales and then pick them up again in any store in Queensland. So I came to the end of my contract, was never sent the offer to buy for $1. They just kept deducting fortnight amount. When I contacted them, I was advised payments will still be deducted until I return the buy it now offer. Overcharging Thugs no end to them ever billing you even after end of contract
Overcharging.. So it was the end of a 4 painful years and my contract with these thugs. I phoned and spoke with Elizabeth who advised me to sign a letter of offer to purchase for $1 at the end and my last payment including the dollar was to be $80.80 paid by 9 May. They need to shut down, biggest scammers
Waste of money, rude staff. On a payment arrangement with my arrears and they still bang on my door every week and tried to get the cops involved. 30 calls a day!!!!! Literally just got to the good guys and get 12 months interest free for whatever you need. Radio Rentals need to go, as you can see majority of customers are angry and upset with the poor service.

RIP OFF RENTALS
Rude, unfriendly and an absolute rip off. It doesn't matter how desperate you are DO NOT shop there. If you need anything AFTERPAY or ZIPPAY, you can get a 65 inch TV from BIGW for under a grand, at RR you would pay $3,500, don't be sucked in by the small amount you pay a week at RR you'll be paying it off for years. I seriously hope they go broke and by god they deserve to.

Horrible experience felt like I was being bullied
Just spoke to a customer service representative and I am applaud by the way I was spoken to. I am in arrears 300 to be exact a month or a bit more in arrears. I made an agreement and didn’t follow through fair enough but I’ve recently only gotten back to work after just having a month off unpaid due to mental health reasons. Terrible customer service
Everyone I’ve ever spoken to within this company is beyond rude with attitude. If you are one day late with a payment or if for some reason your payment bounced, they call you between 10 and 20 times a day until it’s paid. They then send someone to your house to harass you even though you’ve already advised them when payment will be received. Atrocious, expensive and they prey on people who really shouldn’t be put in this financial burden.

The customer service line will send you an email with a due date for a payment if overdue yet the store won’t give a rats and one of its staff will start sending you text messages from their own phone everyday asking “when can you make another payment. Pay now”. Then they send a guy around to your house to harass you and punch on your door like he’s the police and you’ve committed a crime. I had a visit recently. I didn’t realise my payment had bounced because up until a few days before That day I hadn’t received any communication to advise me of this. It was only a few days before this I received an email from the customer service Dept giving me a due date - great! This was on the 16th. They gave me til the 29th to pay. On the 18th, I had someone bashing on my door. I rang customer service & spoke to a lady. I questioned why, if I had received that email was someone banging on my door wanting payment by 5pm. She dodged answering like it was the plague and entered me into a payment arrangement so I would not be harassed again. She also stated she would ring my home store and advise them because I was quite shaken up and telling her I wished to make a complaint about the manner in which this man behaved at my front door. I felt afraid and intimidated over a $49 overdue payment. I made payment that night when I got paid. The next day I’m sitting at home and again, this beefcake from their local store bangs on my door demanding the item or payment. I advise him I had already paid and offered receipt number. I also advised I had called their customer service. He took a copy of the receipt and left. I then rang my home store and spoke to a girl who had attitude as soon as I challenged her. I told her I just had someone at my door and I wanted to know why when not only had I already paid but I had called and entered into a payment arrangement that covered me for a week to avoid harassment. She told me that there was no such info on here system and that if I had actually called, all of what had been told to me would be there in front of her. When I asked her how I make a complaint about this I was advised to “pay your account on time, sweetie”. I hung up on her and then rang the customer service line that I made the payment arrangement through. Got connected with some man who was more concerned that I would include him in my complaint than actually helping me and listening to me. I asked him if there was a record of my call from the other day and he said yes. He read me the notes. Long story shot I got transferred to an on duty manager and was talking with her. I asked why didn’t her staff member call the store to advise them of my payment arrangement like she told me she was going to? Especially as I had asked to escalate the situation to a complaint? The manager told me they don’t contact their stores via phone. It’s all by email! So this stupid home store probably hasn’t checked their emails and seen that I had a payment arrangement! How ridiculous hey! For a company this size, you’ve got all these morons running it and such a stupid system. The system in customer service is different to the system in store so the staff in store don’t see any of the information like payment arrangements etc, they have to enter manually when Cust service email them. Yet they don’t check it every week day! They dodged my complaint and fobbed it off by saying they will talk to the staff member involved and provide more training as she told me she was going to call the store knowing full well she couldn’t. Blah blah blah. I fully regret using this company. It’s so expensive. The harassment never stops. I live in constant panic and fear because of this company. I’ve had a few health problems over the last few months and as a result have spent a lot of time in hospital and a lot less time at work which has ended up with me being a fortnight behind here and there. I feel like I’m always having to shut my phone off because their automated system won’t stop calling me. I feel like I’m always looking out my window whenever I hear a car because I’m scared they’re going to come banging on my door even though I always ring customer service when I’m late and make an alternative payment arrangement to cover me. The Wollongong store are a joke. There’s one woman there in particular who is the reason I will not call that store for any resolutions, I just skip straight to their head office or customer service because she is rude & arrogant and speaks down to you. Won’t shop again !
Won’t purchase again,as I purchased washing machine and two days after my warranty my machine stopped working so couldn’t do much as had NO Warranty! You would think a washing machines would go longer than 2 years!

Yes, every time.. I have been with radio rentals for nearly 7 years and have never had any issues but then again, I pay on time and never miss payments. I find them great to deal with
