Terrible customer service
Everyone I’ve ever spoken to within this company is beyond rude with attitude. If you are one day late with a payment or if for some reason your payment bounced, they call you between 10 and 20 times a day until it’s paid. They then send someone to your house to harass you even though you’ve already advised them when payment will be received. Atrocious, expensive and they prey on people who really shouldn’t be put in this financial burden.

The customer service line will send you an email with a due date for a payment if overdue yet the store won’t give a rats and one of its staff will start sending you text messages from their own phone everyday asking “when can you make another payment. Pay now”. Then they send a guy around to your house to harass you and punch on your door like he’s the police and you’ve committed a crime. I had a visit recently. I didn’t realise my payment had bounced because up until a few days before That day I hadn’t received any communication to advise me of this. It was only a few days before this I received an email from the customer service Dept giving me a due date - great! This was on the 16th. They gave me til the 29th to pay. On the 18th, I had someone bashing on my door. I rang customer service & spoke to a lady. I questioned why, if I had received that email was someone banging on my door wanting payment by 5pm. She dodged answering like it was the plague and entered me into a payment arrangement so I would not be harassed again. She also stated she would ring my home store and advise them because I was quite shaken up and telling her I wished to make a complaint about the manner in which this man behaved at my front door. I felt afraid and intimidated over a $49 overdue payment. I made payment that night when I got paid. The next day I’m sitting at home and again, this beefcake from their local store bangs on my door demanding the item or payment. I advise him I had already paid and offered receipt number. I also advised I had called their customer service. He took a copy of the receipt and left. I then rang my home store and spoke to a girl who had attitude as soon as I challenged her. I told her I just had someone at my door and I wanted to know why when not only had I already paid but I had called and entered into a payment arrangement that covered me for a week to avoid harassment. She told me that there was no such info on here system and that if I had actually called, all of what had been told to me would be there in front of her. When I asked her how I make a complaint about this I was advised to “pay your account on time, sweetie”. I hung up on her and then rang the customer service line that I made the payment arrangement through. Got connected with some man who was more concerned that I would include him in my complaint than actually helping me and listening to me. I asked him if there was a record of my call from the other day and he said yes. He read me the notes. Long story shot I got transferred to an on duty manager and was talking with her. I asked why didn’t her staff member call the store to advise them of my payment arrangement like she told me she was going to? Especially as I had asked to escalate the situation to a complaint? The manager told me they don’t contact their stores via phone. It’s all by email! So this stupid home store probably hasn’t checked their emails and seen that I had a payment arrangement! How ridiculous hey! For a company this size, you’ve got all these morons running it and such a stupid system. The system in customer service is different to the system in store so the staff in store don’t see any of the information like payment arrangements etc, they have to enter manually when Cust service email them. Yet they don’t check it every week day! They dodged my complaint and fobbed it off by saying they will talk to the staff member involved and provide more training as she told me she was going to call the store knowing full well she couldn’t. Blah blah blah. I fully regret using this company. It’s so expensive. The harassment never stops. I live in constant panic and fear because of this company. I’ve had a few health problems over the last few months and as a result have spent a lot of time in hospital and a lot less time at work which has ended up with me being a fortnight behind here and there. I feel like I’m always having to shut my phone off because their automated system won’t stop calling me. I feel like I’m always looking out my window whenever I hear a car because I’m scared they’re going to come banging on my door even though I always ring customer service when I’m late and make an alternative payment arrangement to cover me. The Wollongong store are a joke. There’s one woman there in particular who is the reason I will not call that store for any resolutions, I just skip straight to their head office or customer service because she is rude & arrogant and speaks down to you. Avoid avoid avoid. Unless you want to be treated like an irrelevant criminal because you miss a payment.

Won’t shop again !
Won’t purchase again,as I purchased washing machine and two days after my warranty my machine stopped working so couldn’t do much as had NO Warranty! You would think a washing machines would go longer than 2 years!

All good until now

Absolutely horrible service, poorly treated by them
Decided to go back to radio rentals after been with them for years paid off everything 2 years ago done application in my husband name as he earns good money also excellent credit history they came back saying he did not earn enough to pay $15 a week off ! WORST POSSIBLE SERVICE!
i have had to wait 2 days at home for a fridge, today they went to the wrong house, now I am now being expected to wait at home yet another day! I spent the last 2 days cleaning out my fridge ready for my rental item! such poor service!!! I have put everything on hold for the past 2 days, should have been here today! I cant put almost half a week on hold for a stupid mess around from so called professionals.

The products are good I have bought a few things over the years, if there is a problem with them they replace then, the staff at lake haven are amazing girls who are helpful and friendly, I recommend radio rentals, I've gotten phones for Christmas for my daughters and just furnished my house with beautiful good quality white good a bed and TV and were all delivered at the time I moved into my house, I've been a customer of radio rentals for over 6 years and I think there great!

Harassing calls about payment that comes out of my Centrepay deductions every fortnight
Sick and tired of weekly phone calls concerning fortnightly payments that regularly come from my fortnightly payment of Newstart . Tell them the same thing and get the same answer every week . Sorry we will get the manager to fix this up and yet still no resolution . I’m sorry I pay my fortnightly amount every two weeks the exact same way since beginning the contract, so why in the hell is this still continuing .

Rip offs
U pay well above what product is worth i get 2 payments behind and start to pay double
But got 1 payment behind again due to energy bills speak to them who say they will send through info to drop payments due to hardship but never did. Next thing they r asking for more than required apologize but monthly payment not accepted they sent sheriff who heard our offer and couldn't believe the refusal. So they took mattresd fridge lounge which had been in for repairs 3 times and lounge still returned on a lean

I have an Xbox with these guys the controller broke the first weekend of me having it they told me I have to fix it myself very bad customer service if you're renting products out at least have the decency to replace broken products

Thorn 65 inch tv

Stay Away from these guys.
We hired a Thorn fridge that has issues since day one and we have had 3 service calls with still the same problem having a water leak all over our floor and the fridge not cooling as it should be.
We emailed ( they never replied - Good Management...NOT) and contacted the Cranbourne store to either upgrade or replace, they - the Manager Edmund offered us a fridge that is not even on their website and is discontinued item ..Ohh yes please send us crap and keep deducting money...
