Going on the ovation of the seas on the 5th Jan is it best to pay for my drink package before or pay on board the ship can you tell me the cost and how do I pay for it

Cost is in American Dollars mate..$15 for a can of spirits and upto $50/ bottle of substandard wine. Better to buy a drinks package but watch out for hidden costs.

If you buy it onboard on the first day they usually give you a buy one get 50% off it was costing us. The prices on board are all US$ so depending on the $ what it will cost you my cocktails were US$14 that was about AU$19. They are theives so your best bet if you like more than 5 drinks a day buy the package

The gratuities are included in there prices so a soft drink cost US$3.50, a beer US$7.50 and a cocktail or spirit between US$10 - US$14 convert that to Australian $

I sent an email to them a week ago about our dining reservation, still did not hear from them. Not impressed. Bought a 3-meal plan but cannot do reservation and Neither for My Time dining. I think it is rediculous. Try to ring but getting nowhere. Bad, bad customet service.

Real bad customer service mate. We did the eruption cruise. Buy a 3 meal plan when you get on board..dont pay more than US $109, anything else is a rip off.

So far we have found Royal Caribbean totally lacking in customer assistance - they have made major change to our itinerary from Sydney to Hawaii and offering very little by way of compensation.

can't remember what the special party night was as we didn't attend, there were a few Formal Dinner nights etc it all should be on there web site, so much to do on the cruise day and night have a good time and the food just amazing

I noticed this problem as well so I just wrote all the times on a list that I brought with me. But when we went to our stateroom, there was a document there for us that showed all our events and dining times for the whole cruise!
I suggest that you check with the reception at the dining room, they can confirm or fix it
