Completely died after only 4 years operation
We did not research this one enough- and stupidly bought it on colour to match a new Miele oven right underneath it. It is noisy, it dries everything out, the light is useless, the door button is too stiff. The only thing I like is the timer! I haven't liked it from day one. However, I do expect a microwave that cost me over $250 to last more than 3 or 4 years whether I actually enjoy using it or not. My last microwave (a Sanyo) was still going after 20 years! I doubt this one is under warranty anymore and the store we bought it from does not exist anymore. Anyway find a

Bad microwave stay away
The interior light is a joke, can't see inside too dark and flimsy button. Buy other brand. The door is so flimsy and uneven when closed.

Give this one a miss
The microwave was the only appliance that we bought without researching heavily online first, and just asked for the sales assistance for some advice as a microwave's a microwave, right? Wrong. Whilst there is a light inside the microwave, it's basically redundant due to the "design" of the door - it's dark and you cannot see the light inside, hence cannot see if your liquid is spilling over or not. Many microwaves have dark doors and you can still see inside them fine when you are reheating food. Being able to see inside a microwave when rehea...Read more
ting food was a feature that I thought all microwaves would have, but apparently not. Tried to return it to the shop - had just asked for a normal microwave recommendation from the sales assistant when buying - store said get stuffed. Lucky are those that managed to return it! Our Samsung washing machine even has LED lights built into it, allowing you to turn on the light to observe the clothes tumbling if you so wish. Don't know if this microwave door "design" is part of their current range of microwaves, but I don't think I will ever buy another Samsung microwave. Burnt too badly with this one, will stick to their TVs and washing machines with highly unnecessary, but nifty lights. It heats food Can't see inside itSimilar opinion? Hi. Whats the point of having a globe in this unit?
Is there a higher wattage globe i can use for the interior...

My microwave was a white one but I sent it back for a refund, cannot see a thing through the darkened glass. If you cannot see your hand behind the glass with the door opened then a higher wattage globe is not going to make any difference. I am pretty sure that changing a globe in a microwave is no longer possible for the consumer. It has to go back to a service agent if it blows, so I doubt if a higher wattage replacement is possible.

Hi Brenton, we do not recommend users to replace the interior light. For more information on the interior light of your microwave:
