13 years and only just stopped

published

Been moved around a few times and such a reliable fridge. Always maintained a constant temp, seals always kept good and parts were easy to get. Will miss this fridge.

Purchased in October 2021 at Harvey Norman Retail Stores - Appliances for $700.00.

Just died after 11 years

published

This has been a very good fridge but with temps in the high 30"s to mid 40's for weeks on end and lots of storms which included many micro blackouts and despite a surge protector the circuit board finally gave up. But it put up a good fight. The only down side was the plastic door shelves which cracked easily. So instead of paying hundreds to fix it we have bought another Samsung this time a 400L top mount with glass shelves. If it is as good as this one we'll be happy. As a side story our 45year old Kelvinator upside down fridge as also just died still had the original seals. They dont make fridges like that anymore.

Excellent - the fridge to go for

published

Bought this in December 2006. Still working and never once needed fixing. My kids have literally used the door as a swing a couple of times. I now need a bigger fridge but will continue to use this as a second fridge. I was researching for a new one and came across this review page. Thought the least I owe this fridge is a good review.

Quality! Excellent little work horse.

Bought one of these from the Good guys in 2005, still working perfectly. Was worth about $1200 brand new but got mine for $800. Nice and quiet fridge, large enough for a small-medium family, functional spaces. After 10yrs, 2 moves its still going strong and i've never had to replace the seals. if you're wondering the seals still looks in very good condition. If only they still build them like this!

I have owned this fridge my hole adult life my grandad bought this for me in 2005 when I got my first place I have 3 children my eldest is 9 and my youngest is 2 those of you with children know the strain they can put on your fridge and mine still lives its Perfect I have just upgraded to a larger model Samsung due to my increasing needs, however I am so proud of my little fridge I cant let it go its now my party fridge constantly getting opened and closed on a Saturday night yet it still lives I declare that this is one of the best fridges ever!!!
energy efficient and reliable
Larger bottles can crack the plastic in door shelf if droped in rather than placed

Terrible

published

we bought this from retrvision liverpool and 6 months later it stopped working. the person they sent to fix it didn't have the part with him even though we told him what the problem was so we were without a fridge for 3 weeks with no offer of replacement. once that was fixed the seal started coming off the door and both large shelves have cracked, how who knows. it is a cheap, badly put together flimsy piece of trash and is not worth spending money on
it really is frost free
we had it for 6 months and the condenser blew up
