Nice
We bought washing machines from Harvey Norman as well. We had Samsung top loaded 6.5kg. Suddenly stop working. But under warranty so. They offer us for replacement. We upgrade to 11kg. It's with sink. Different facilities. Working very well. Happy. Water saving. Easy to use and easy to clean. Smooth touch screen.

Not a good machine
This machine does not wash properly, business shirts were still not clean under the arms...
It twists your clothes as it has no middle spike to prevent tangles and you have to unravel them before you can hang them out - terrible design!!
It is quite a loud machine compared to the new frontloader I just replaced it with.
There are no favourite features on this machine I really did not like it. I sold it after just six months.

So far, so good.
Am really happy with the machine's washing capabilities and the lint filter is easy to clean. A couple of issues: I was used to a machine that automatically selected the water level and this machine does not do this on all settings. Also the "quick wash" is not quick. Shortest quick wash is 36 minutes and that is with the water level on low.

How to reduce washing time
Only had this a week and happy with it. Cleans clothes, quiet and efficient. The quickest wash I can find is 39 minutes on ‘quick wash’. I often want a quicker wash. 15 minutes for example. I can’t find out if it’s possible to get less than 39 minutes. If I can’t control the wash time I wouldn’t have bought it. Please advise if you know
Thanks
Adding to the review
On phoning the manufacturer I realised the fuzzy feature had stopped working. On their advice I phoned Harvey Norman. Between that fuzzy fault and the fact the shortest wash was 39 minutes I returned the machine and bought a different one. The new machine does 15 or 30 minute options.

Great wash
Not as quite as I expected, washes very well, not as fast as I expected, it looks small but fits a lot, easy to clean, easy to use but I wish it had more cycle options to choose from or press, I am glad I purchased it as it fits perfectly in its space and delivers great results.

Melted plastic rim, ruined linen and smoke
Beware fire hazard!
The machine did its job well enough for a few months, before on occasions I started to find dark marks from black flakes of what appears to be mould on my washing.
Nothing compared to the burning of my linen and melted inner rim of the machine today. I believe I was very fortunate to have been home as it looked like it was sure to set fire.

I am very pleased with this washing machine
I purchased this machine after plenty of research. Not only was it a great price but it’s got plenty of features such as quick wash, spin only, dark and colors, tub wash to name a few. It’s even got a glass lid so I can see what’s going on. It also is big enough for all the dirty work ware and I can wash king size sheets with room for more. It’s gentle on my clothes because it hasn’t got an agitator but cleans them very well. It’s a quiet machine and it plays a little tune when it’s finished. I am very happy with my purchase.

nice product
This washing machine is great. Large capacity so it can easily fit in two sheets and two quilt covers. also the knob designed to choose the desired program is a fun to use. I'm more into a top loader than a front loader and this one is the best top loader I've used.

I love it!
Does a great job washing my clothes. Washes nicely, effectively but gently - fresh clothes each time! It never weared out my clothes. Nice and quiet compared to the last washing machine I had. My favourite features include the lovely song to let you know your washing is done, and the easy to use interface.

Excellent product
I absolutely love my washer it cleans very well and doesn't wear out my clothes. It is very quiet and I love how you can delay washing time it even does a tub clean to keep the washer clean, it also has detachable filters inside the tube, which I love because then I know the clothes are always clean.

Thrilled with purchase, Quiet, Efficient and Easy to Use
Very happy with the no agitaor as nothing gets tangled or unbalanced
We have a family of four and I have used it non stop since we got it delivered 2 days ago as we have moved and our other machine died on arrival to our new home.
Seems to be gentler on clothes and is nice and quiet
I enjoy the little music it plays if I forget to put the see through lid down and it plays a cute little tune at the end of each cycle. You can turn the sound off if you so desire.
Great spin cycle and very happy with purchase

PERFECT!
Where we used to live (furnished rental property), we used a 6.5L Samsung top loader washing machine, similar to this one. We never had a problem in the two years we were there and vowed that when we furnished our own place, we'd get a Samsung.
We purchased the 8L as it was on sale and it's even better than the 6.5L because of a few more washing cycle choices etc.
It's very quiet and we've never had to re-wash a thing.
Having the clear lid is also handy, as it saves you having to lift the lid to see if there's enough water etc.
Would buy another one tomorrow - yep, highly recommended!!

Carpet of mould
Had Samsung top loader for 5 years. Started producing chunks of black pieces in water. Clothes would come out with black pieces of dirt ?. Samsung took forever to get back to me. As I couldn't use it I removed the bottom of the inner tub and discovered a carpet layer of mould under the bottom of the inner bowl. As they do not have an agitator water sits in there and turns to mould over the years. Lesson learned is always buy a washing machine with a centre agitator as this helps spin the water out.

NO More wrecked clothes
I chose this washing machine without the agitator, the best thing, less pilling, no twisted clothes or wrecked bra's, there is no climbing .into the washing machine to untwist clothes around an agitator. The Washing machine is very quiet and washes well, quite a few program settings to choose. The washing machine looks small but very surprised of how much it can take.

Cant fault it!
I purchased this washing machine back in November 2016 and still have no complaints at all about it. It's extremely reliable, does a great job, and uses much less water and electricity than our old washing machine. There's several settings that I use based on the load that I want to do such as bedding, normal clothes, coloured clothes etc and they all work great. I would highly recommend this washing machine..it does not disappoint!

Love it
Love the Samsung washing machine too loaders. With no agitator in the middle we have so much room inside it which is great for a large family like ours. Blankets and all have no problem being in there washed. Easy to clean and no problems to date. Love the Samsung appliances :)

This is perfect!
Does a good job of getting cloths clean. Runs pretty quietly (and there is a button which you can push to stop it beeping at you while you setup for the next load, which it remembers). No more incessant beep beep just to make selection for washing clothes, Easy to understand wash type, water levels and the amount of spinning you want it to do.

Great machine
This washes clothes excellent! The only issue was the drain wa allocated on the side of the washing machine, which meant I had to allow for more than the standard 600mm width. Easy to use and buttons up high so little ones can't fiddle! Overall a great machine and a good price

Best washing machine I've bought
Does a good job of getting cloths clean. Only a single filter to clean, rather than the 2 a lot of machines have. Runs pretty quietly (and there is a button which you can push to stop it beeping at you while you setup for the next load, which it remembers). No more incessant beep beep just to make selection for washing clothes, Easy to understand wash type, water levels and the amount of spinning you want it to do. So if its going in the dryer, just spin it longer, want it drip dry without too much crinkling, spin it less.

Questions & Answers
Antonyasked
Bought this model 3 years ago and for the last year dirt, residue and lint has been seeping onto clothes after every wash. We have cleaned magic filter after every use, completed multiple tub clean cycles and scrubbed internally to no avail. Are there any other ways to clean the machine?

Hi my machine is about 3 years old now and seems to do its own thing during the rinse and spin cycle. It literally seems to reset and start the spin cycle as often as it likes. I noticed that the washing was taking longer and took special notice and it just keeps stopping and spinning and resetting the time each time. What is going on?! Help!
