Will Never Go Back
Was hesitant about buying a bed without trying it first - but do you really TRY a mattress in a shop? You lay on it for five seconds and then throw hundreds of dollars over the counter.
Was impressed by other reviews so I threw the dice and I’m so glad I did.

Each night my back is stretched and pain free in the morning.
The mattress feels like many others. The big issue is there is no sag, just really strong support for the heavier areas. I sleep straight with suppleness. Whilst on work, away from my Sleeping Duck my back pains return.

We love the Duck
So here’s the story.
We Purchased a king size mattress with the sleeping duck base. Support from the sales dept was fantastic. No pressure and reassuring ‘get out jail’ conversations in case my decision re ‘firm’ was the correct choice but I was reassured I could switch to a medium support insert.
I like the firm, if anything it could be firmer.
Delivery was painless and I had a special request to delay delivery to a country town in northern NSW which was also professionally handled.

Best + Even BETTER aftercare 4 years later!!
We purchased a Mattress and later returned it within their 100 days, which we were offered money back or a new firmness. We were wanting a different firmness so went for the firm/firm. No hassles there, next day delivery too. That was great. unexpected offer ever, they then phoned us back, offered us something ever more mind blowing than I would ever of expected. My point of this review is not to go into details of what I was offered and then reoffered because they are a company and because they have offered us something due to our unique situation they should not have everyone asking for the same thing, but I am leaving this review because my other reviews have helped so many people over the years that I wanted anyone considering this mattress to know that not only is the 100 day sleep trial a real thing, without any hassles or guilty feeling but 4 years later they literally just gave me the best customer service I can ever recall receiving in my 40+ years on this earth. They did not just provide excellent service but after i had a million reasons to not follow up on that offer they gave me, they day I finally took them up on they offer they took all my excuses and reasons i hadn't pulled the trigger into consideration and made a very unique decision to our circumstances which is something I would never of expected, ever. 4 Years later and this level of service is just not something that happens. Their product really is a very special product, you are getting something better than 99% of mattresses I have ever seen in stores for a 1/4 of the price, but the service you get buying from them, the 100 day service you get is exceptional. Now 4 years later their aftercare service has proven to be selfless, kind, very caring and better than any level I have heard of. Carla is the rep we were dealing with and here I am feeling like she is just being polite over emails but probably just annoyed at me among her work mates and then I get a phone call that shows me how far she and her team go for their customers. You are insane if you are looking for a mattress and do not buy from Sleeping Duck. Even after 4 years the mattress has the same shape and the same support it had from day 1. The moment you have it on your bed frame and visually unzip to see all the layers they advertise, you know this is the best quality mattress you could of purchased. You will never look at those $4000 - $12,000 ones in stores the same again. It seems not only does SD offer half and half firmness but now they offer different sections for different painful joints as well. All for the same price and you can try it, change it as you need to. Right now is a very stressful time in our lives, and everyone is walking into a horrible time that is about to change the world. People compare what is happening now to a level only experienced in World War 2 and Sleeping Duck has put that to one side and opened their arms up to us and it is something we will remember for the rest of our lives. Honestly, I actually think their aftercare is so good that as I write this I am wondering if i misunderstood them. It does not matter how many stars these guys can be given, their product and their customer care is both a full 100%. Not even a tiny fraction can be reduced for them. If anyone has had a bad experience with them I would suggest you consider how you approach people in your lives because these people are only here to help you. Customer service are there to help you after you have made your purchase, not there to sell you something. So approach them with manners as everyone deserves and see how people respond.

Glad I found Sleeping Duck
Will keep this brief.. Excellent customer service and product!
After trying 3 different premium mattresses and some being more expensive than SD, we finally settled for SD. Initially we ordered the firm option which was good but not firm enough for us and SD gladly sent us the Super Firm inserts. I wonder why SD does not have the option of choosing Super Firm option while placing the order.
The process of requesting the super firm option was smooth and was delivered in a few days (3 or 4 days) couldnt ask for more.
We are now used to the mattress and look forward going to bed. Please note this has not improved my sleeping pattern or my back aches but thats just me (always had problems) but it definately is comfortable.

I understand the hype!
I guess we got dragged in with all the hype and the announcement on the radio. We we’re thinking of a new mattress because of our aches in the morning and bad sleeps. So we made the decision. Rang up and purchased over the phone. There was minimal delay in receiving the mattress. Set it up and slept on it that night. Did our pains go away? No! But after several weeks both my husband and I were finding it easier getting out of bed in the mornings. Then one day (literally) our pains were gone.
The mattress is wonderful and super comfortable we really couldn’t be happier. Oh if only they can do something about my husband’s snoring!

It can take a while for your body to get used to the different feel of a Sleeping Duck. This is why we do use a recommended 21 night adjustment period for our customers to give their initial level of firmness a try. Those early weeks can lead to significant changes in how you experience your Duck. Many customers (such as yourselves) report that as their mattress decompresses, and their bodies adjust, they've found their perfect fit. When it's not this immediate, we of course have our 100 night guarantee to fall back on. We can then change around their firmness for free within these first 100 nights after delivery in order to find that right set-up. We're sorry that we haven't quite found the solution to the noise from the other side of the bed yet! At the very least thanks to our pocket springs separate sleep zones we can help reduce any disturbance from restless tossing and turning, but we'll see how we can solve this in the future. We do provide a 10 year warranty for our mattress.
The warranty covers excessive body imprints only. In the general course of use, if you find the body imprint you have left on the mattress is larger than 30mm deep then we will assess it as a warranty case.
Please note that the warranty can be voided in the case of incorrect bed base use. You can refer to this section on our website on the 'Warranty' page.
All of our mattresses, pillows and sheets come with a 100 night guarantee. The 100 nights start once the item has been delivered. If you find that the mattress firmness isn’t right for you, we can coordinate a change of firmness free of charge. If you don’t love our mattress, pillow or sheets during the 100 nights, let us know within that period, and you can return it to receive a refund of the purchase price. We cover any expenses involved in the return.
