Completed an online order, item was in stock. 6 days later was notified the order was cancelled as they did not have enough stock
Purchased a fabric yesterday, needed more so went back. Was charged the full price instead of the %40 off they had advertised and given me yesterday. And when I asked the worker to check if my fabric was part of the sale, she rolled her eyes and tried to call someone on the head set. I then waited 10 minutes whilst she served other people and the worker over the headset never showed up. All I wanted to know was if I was over charged, if the sale was only until yesterday that would have been fine. But the rude attitude of the cutting staff was so off putting I ended up just taking my stuff quietly and leaving.

After quite a few very unpleasant dealings at burnside store ( 0 star review for this store) ..I decided to go to spotlight Essendon instead . Worth the travel !! What a breath of fresh air,
to not only enter a store that is stocked and neat but it’s stuff is awesome and provide great customer service . Dealt with 3 staff mbrs and they were fantastic, in special Thomas the manager who was 5* !! Spotlight needs more staff mbrs like the Essendon crew !!

The fact that rarely ever is stock updated online, the min $30 order is simply ridiculous !! 3 times I have had to purchase additional items to make up the $30 limit only to find that the actual item I needed was the one cancelled and I had to go to the store pick up something I didn’t need . This policy is an inconvenience to customers and adds work to your stuff who will have to process refunds ( yes I requested refunds for the items I had to buy to make up the $30 when I picked my order, and I believe I’m not an isolated case)

That’s the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! Very unprofessional team! It was the first time I place an online order with Spotlight and will never do it again.
We’ve spent over $8,000 to dress all the windows. Some with shutters and some with curtains.
Shutters were fine and arrived at a reasonable timeframe.
The curtain arrived with 4 months delay.
Very hard to contact M2M customer services.
The curtain rods look soo cheap, ugly and out of fashion…

Spotlight Consultant in Cairns Queensland, is highly unprofessional, no service manners, and only wants your business, once the order/shutters are in, she lies about what happened, bad mouths her customer to customers husband>how can Spotlight put up with this type of Consultant? Her after sales services leave a lot to be desired>>>!!! DO NOT EVER BUY FROM SPOTLIGHT MADE TO MEASURE IN CAIRNS QLD...You will regret it. Have complained to Spotlight VIC head office about my order several times. No after sales customer care.

I would enjoy spending time browsing through Spotlight stores, they stock a large range of products, crafts and home decor products. Sadly Spotlight have instead produced stores that are void of any type of positive shopping experience. Completely understaffed, and what staff there are, they seem to have zero interest in their jobs and customers. Not sure why they bother being in business.

reported broken cord on cellular blind June 21 have rung numerous times call back doesn’t work,advised weeks ago the cord was one week away heard nothing since. blind stuck half open so have no privacy in bedroom for 5 Months. DO NOT buy from spotlight made to measure EVER. Zero Stars

Have purchased online in September 4 meters of curtain material Love from Europe marlin mono with some other ones> I like them all of them so have purchased online more -click and collect . Unfortunately on pick that extra 8 meters of Love from Europe marlin mono they did not had, received email from Online store that money will be refunded. Read morere have sent picture, it took good 4 days and numerous phonecalls and emails for issue to trying to be fixed. But it was not fixed as they Spotlight online will refund money for 8 meters but not for 4 meters (i have used 4 meters already - with some other of my material that I had - to make two tone curtain) now those 4 meters and my material of nearly 10 meters as was cus cannot be used. Supervisor from customer care advised that as material 4 meters was cut no refund, does not matter that I bought extra 8 meters in short period of time and that 8 meters was different shade so cannot be used in conjuction with 4 meters (how did I know that material will be different shade, others were not ). So my money will not be refunded for 4 meters or even store credit given I will take my case further. I am not happy as have spent more than $1000 in last 5 week with Spotlight. I have never experienced service as poor as this. Spotlight needs to have clear performance and customer service guidelines for their contractor installers. This guys should not have been employed. I found the staff member rude and condescending because I didn't know the name of the type of print on fat quarters and dared to ask if they were on sale...no prices on a lot of stock..also told me they make it easy for customers by putting prices on shelves...one pricing station not working as I didn't want to bother them. When I mentioned that she pointed out another one down other end of store...very short with patience. I apologised for being an inconvenience. Told me I wasn't but her attitude told otherwise. Won't use this store again...
I have had so much trouble trying to contact Spotlight Customer Service and when I finally have it has been a week and still no response. The online form won't work for me, I couldn't locate a contact phone number so had to ring a local store to get it and when I tried calling (several times) I couldn't get through. Finally got an email address through Facebook only to have no answer a week after lodging enquiry. I am still waiting on 3 of the 6 items I ordered in September and 2 of the 3 that have arrived were packaged very poorly and I was lucky that they don't appear to have been damaged, not that I can see anyway.
Shop for sale or clearance prices. Prices seem high if not on sale. If a clearance item you can't return, even to swap for another clearance item if you by accident take wrong size. That's bad. If its in original packing, genuine mistake, take it back straight away and just want to swap for same priced by different size, do the right thing spotlight. Just bad. Handy place, but just wish they would be kinder.

The facts-
1. I ordered 2 king sheet sets worth approx $400.
2. When ordering noticed my vip account had the wrong address- I changed the address. Email confirmation indicated changed address.
3. Australia post sent email indicating they were delivering to wrong address.
4. Spent 4.5hrs trying to get the delivery diverted. Spotlight don’t answer calls- you can only send an email. Australia post have no interest.
5. Sheets delivered to wrong address a 2 hour drive from where I live. The tenants signed for the delivery so Australia Post said it...

Online queries do not get answered. This is really unhelpful. When ordering material greater than 5m in length, the company reserves the right to despatch the ordered length in smaller lots. This could be ok but there is no facility on the online order to indicate what lengths would be ok. I needed 3m x 3 but if the 9m came in as 5m + 4m that would be disastrous. My online query was ignored and I ended up making 3 separate orders to guarantee the lengths. This meant 3 lots of postage. Pretty unhelpful. There are so many people looking for work..put more staff on to handle online queries!!.
I bought an item online from Spotlight one month ago. It was good that the item was dispatched in few days after the order was confirmed. However, it has been more than a month, I haven't received my item yet. I have contacted Spotlight at least 4-5 times. They either told me that they have lodged an enquiry and would contact me in 1-2 business days to follow up which they almost never done or asked me to hold online and then cut off my line without getting back to me. This is really the worst shopping experience that I ever had. I really hope someone from the management team can solve my problem.
I placed an online order and was charged $12.99 for delivery, this is reasonable for the total value of items I'd ordered. Unfortunately the bulk of my order (95% of the order value) is now cancelled and the only thing they're able to fulfill is a $6.30 strainer. The delivery cost is still $12.99 even though the majority of the order value is now cancelled. I'd not recommend purchasing online from them unless it's free postage do you're not penalised if they cancel your the majority of your order.
I would like to share an incident today.
My friend and I exited the Spotlight, Essendon store after my friend paid for the items she purchased. One of the employees tapped on the window to call us back. She checked my friend’s receipt to confirm the items purchased. And when she saw that everything was fine, she had the nerve to ask about the bag my friend was carrying. The irony! The bag was from cotton on!! And when she knew she was in the wrong, in a very crude tone she says “you need to show your receipt when you exit” when there was no one to show the receipts to! And no one else was doing that!
SPOTLIGHT has the worst old white people for the job. It’s DISGUSTING!!

I called customer service in regards to my online order around 12:30. The agent i spoke to said she will send me the email i needed to collect my order. 4 hours later, i still haven’t received the email. I rang again and spoke to different agent and in the almost 20 minute call she has placed me on hold for atleast half of that time just to update my details and send me the email confirmation I initially requested. Quite disappointed

I ordered a product close to one week ago and it has not been processed. I called customer care and waited on hold for approximately 20 minutes. A curt telephonist promised to follow up and after several minutes on hold she disconnected the call. The call centre has reached capacity and does not have the technical competency or human resources to continue answering calls. I would strongly recommend shopping elswhere as it is clear that the business is not complying with basic industry standards. Avoid.

Trying to get in touch with someone and get an answer to a simple question is near impossible. I placed an order online for 9 blinds and received 5 emails to say the order was being shipped in 5 different shipments. Not ideal. The first shipment arrived a few days later but of the 4 blinds that were supposed to have been in the delivery - 2 were missing. Tried to call the store where they were sent from (Ashmore Qld) less than helpful and couldn't really care less. Not their problem was the general gist. Got told to call 1300 which just sa...

I will never order anything online from Spotlight again.Bought a blind in July. No mechanism was in the box. Emailed to return it 3x . Finally got picked up a month later. Went on to Instagram and spoke to the spotlight “team” [Names Removed] and Spotlight customer Care to chase up my refund ...Automated responses. Instead I got the SAME blind Delivered BACK to me. In my packaging! I then had to organize another pick up which took another month. Called them, no answer, just the automated rubbish. It has been a month since then and NO REFUND.
