I am torn between the Compact Oval as it’s the perfect size for our narrow and long courtyard (we are in a Victorian terrace) and the medium oval as I feel it’s better suited for my two children who are 6 and nearly 3 as they can grow into it. How many years would we have with the compact Oval before my kids would grow out of it?

Hi there, the trampoline can be used for the same period as the medium oval, however they may find it harder to share if there is less space. At the moment we do not have stock of the compact oval and our medium oval stock is limited, so if you'd like to move forward, please contact our team on 1800 586 772. The Springfree Team

Hi Dee, The medium oval is a great size for two children - it measures 2.4x3.4m in size and is great if you have a narrow yard. The Springfree Team

Hi,
I am thinking of purchasing the Medium Oval or compact oval for my 7 year old son. I prefer the medium so that he has more bouncing room.
My only concern is that one side will be close to a fence. I have a long narrow courtyard. The total width is 3.2m with a fence on one side and a shallow step up on the other. I will be able to push the trampoline up close to the step as there is plenty of clearance above the step. What a pain having a stepped courtyard!
Do you think the Medium oval will fit or will I have to go for the compact oval? Is the compact oval big enough for a school aged child?
Thanks in advance for any answers.

Hi there, thank you for contacting us. The O77 medium oval trampoline is 2.4m wide, and for us to be able to install this for you we would require 3.8m in width to ensure this is a safe space for your children to jump. We do have a free yard assessment service where one of our team can come out and provide appropriate recommendations for you if you are located in one of our installation zones which may be the best option for you to ensure you select the right trampoline. Please contact our team on 1800 586 772 to discuss how we can assist you.
Thank you. A yard assessment sounds like a great idea. I will call today and see if I can book an appointment.

Our Springfree trampoline is turning into an expensive nightmare and I hope you can advise us. We bought it in April 2016 and for 2 years it was perfect. By June 2018 the mat was worn and it needed a new net--it was well used, and we were happy to replace these even though it was quite expensive. Since then, we have had nothing but trouble--rods broke and the mat needed replacing again in Nov 2018. Springfree were great in replacing these without charge. Now (Jan 2022), rods are damaged again--Springfree tells this is not a defect but a maintenance issue (the rods were replaced 2 months ago; and we were advised there was no problem with the positioning or how it was used)--and we need to pay $200 to replace the damaged rods. We are told to ideally "remove the rod from the mat and slide the Sleeve back to the top of the Rod. Then re-insert the rod in to the Frame Socket all the way down in to the base." I find removing rods hard. Does the trampoline need replacing? (only 2.5 yrs old)?

We are absolutely delighted with Springfree's Customer care and customer care manager Nikki. She was able to discuss the history of the trampoline and the troubles we have had and made some really useful suggestions about what was happening and what could be done to resolve all the issues. Thank you so much.

Do you think the medium oval is big enough for 2 10-year-old boys to jump together? I'm debating on the medium or the large. I fear the entire yard will be taken up by the larger one.

We are so excited you are interested in Springfree Trampolines! The Ovals are a great option! We would recommend looking at our Large Oval Model as you have to remember these are backed with a 10 Year Warranty on ALL components, so they are built to last! The Medium Oval may be a good size now, but you need to think about down the road, when the boys will grow :) You want them to grow into the trampoline and not out of it! We hope this information helps with your decision.
Kind Regards, Springfree Team
I would definitely go with the large oval. You will not be disappointed.
