shocking
Called Sunco a week in advance about my broken electric window regulator and seeking a quote on repairs. Couldn't give me a quote over the phone so booked a week in advance to pop in and get it looked at (8:30am) I had already removed the door interior so should not have taken more than 15 minutes to get an estimate on repair. 2:45 pm the car was 'ready'. (over 6 hours for a 15 minute max inspection) Cost of repairs would be $450 (300$ for the part alone) Was also charged $100 for the quote and them to temporarily tape the window up!! Managed to locate TWO NEW regulators for $90 and got a private mechanic to put it in for $50. Moral of the story - I saved $400 and you should keep well away from this place!

Don’t waste anything with these guys
Went to buy a car from them. Couldn’t see it as was out on loan for the weekend as another customer had bought a car that had broken down and they needed a temporary replacement. Monday morning they dropped the price, we called to say we were still coming back as arranged later that day to buy it. Didn’t hear anything else, followed up again only to find they had decided to wholesale the car instead. I can only conclude that that car must have broken as well and didn’t want yet another warranty claim. If buying from these guys I would suggest you check the fine print of any warranty.

after care what's that ????
purchased a manufactures staff vehicle from their liquidation sale in January thinking it was a demonstrator vehicle and after purchaseing this we asked for the spare key, which we were told it was over at the jeep dealership and they would find it and pass it on to us. After going in and many phone calls and being told that the jeep came from an auction in Melbourne and it was in a plastic bag with other keys and nobody could find that bag that there was no spare key.I received a text message from the salesman stating that because it was class...Read more
ed as a second hand vehicle and we didn't have it in the contract they would not replace it. after speaking to a manager whom would not respond to my phone calls i went in to see about this and saw another manager who was as bad as the salesman. It appears that there is no aftersales service and they are only interested in the hand over of your money and their commission. There has been a lot of lies and broken promises over the last 11 months trying to sort this out and we will NEVER deal with Sunco Holden again

Dodgy Dealers
Buying a used car from them and negotiated a further discounted price and was told it was on road price.
However, on further scrutiny of paperwork found that they had charged stamp duty, etc. This conveniently (for them) added up to exactly $1000 so was less noticeable on paperwork. Also said I have to get first two services done by them to keep warranty. Shady. Keep away.

Dishonest sellers
Bought a used Landcruiser of them some years ago. Reason Im posting now is because it seems I wasnt alone in their somewhat shady dealings. Vehicle was priced at $61000 and we negotiated a cheaper price. It had originally had a tow bar which had been removed and I asked it be replaced." If we service it for you will do one for $650 fitted." Scuse me they are only $400+ from factory. Told them to stick it and we bought vehicle anyway. Did have a good run as was ex Govt vehicle However some time later was looking through some paperwork and I noticed on their bill of sale they had charged Stamp Duty on the full price which was a few thousand more than I paid. Was a bit late then but highlights things that go on if you dont watch them.

Stay away
Got a Renault traffic from them .....van took a month to get it to me and when it arrived was one of the dirtiest cars I have ever seen, there was dirt 2cm thick throughout the back of the van also rusty nails and pop rivets spread everywhere. They broke there contract and even wrote on the contract that a van came with a full tank of fuel, when the van was delivered it was empty. Now the electric window does not work. We spoke to the manager and he was so unhelpful and just said it was not the first time a complaint had been put in ......that ...Read more
was his answer for everything!!! Did not even offer anything to help the situation and the worst thing about this is I have to take the van back for a service to keep the warranty. This business is a joke and so are the people working there. Please stay clear and do not fall into the trap like I did.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Sunco servicing as good as it gets .
i recently used Sunco to service my Hyundai iLoad van for the fifth time. I have always found the service staff to be well mannered, helpful and willing to fit me in when it suits me ( sometimes at short notice ) . The capped price servicing and Hyundai Care are very much appreciated features of the service package .I will continue to use Sunco to service and maintain my vehicle .

Professional & friendly
Very well mannered via phone and in person. Capped priced for servicing and if there was anything else outside the capped price they would call to confirm if I would like to go ahead. The extra (brake fluid refilled) was overpriced but as its my second year I may look around for someone who can do that cheaper, then just saying yes to go ahead.
Custosy van man was very lovely to chat with and took ne and picked me up at allocated time but u
nfortunately my car wasnt cleaned after the service inside because of the vaccum cleaner broken.
Other than that thankyou for my car running well :).

Hyundai servicing
I have a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe - have been servicing at Sunco since new with 'capped price servicing'. For $379 a 'service' I like to know what is being serviced so I check before components before and after every service. I am a really patient person but lost my cool after the 45k service as half of the required servicing wasnt done but ticked off as being done on my invoice. Essentially it boils down to a simple oil and filter change for $379 which I could do myself for under a $100!! One thing is apparant - your servicing department is consistant at being SLACK! Pull your finger out Sunco because it is not me your ripping off, its every single person that brings a car in for a service.

Slimey car dealer AVOID
Financed $30000 used car, paid the money to the dealer so could inspect and pickup car. The car was a total lemon, dents, major scratches, full of corrosion. Didn't sign acceptance paperwork plus there is a legal cooling off period, yet they refuse to refund my $30000.

excellent customer service and grat deal
As of 14/09/2015 in my opinion- Sunco Motors, Sunshine Coast has been very professional in selling the Car to me and had given me a good deal on my Nissan X-Trail ST-L 7 Seater.
They did follow-up calls on how my new car was doing? Benjamin James - Sales Consultant, Sunco Motors, Sunshine Coast
I would give 5 Star to Benjamin James - Sales Consultant, without any hesitation

Jeep dealership not up to the marque.
Prior to buying a Jeep I read poor reviews surrounding Jeep dealers in Australia and opted to disregard them and not to be misled by the negativity of so few, or so I thought. Now I've purchased a Jeep for myself from Sunco Jeep and experienced less than poor service, I can now understand how bitter the pill is to swallow having been taken in by a hand shake and a smile. Unfortunately the salesman doesn't represent the dealership or the components of the management that can make all the difference to giving customers a level of satisfaction the...Read more
y deserve when spending their hard earnt dollars. They don't have to cold call inside doorways to get your business, your putting your $'s straight in their lap. I love the vehicle, I hate the dealership management and their inability to use common sense, compassion, with their titled positions, in order to retain a strong customer loyalty base. The consumer laws are not worth the paper they are written on, consumers need real clout, but they won't get anything done here, by way of writing on forums otherwise, the ability to hurt new car dealers would have already been achieved. The probable fact is most people don't say anything, they'll just go elsewhere which is what I'll do now, but my comments are just a reminder to those yet to buy, that they should pause and be pre-cautious in their choice of Jeep dealers in Australia. Remember the contract of sale is legally binding, so avoid signing one, at least until they have the car and any accessories you ordered are actually on site and on the shelf. This minor detail is the stumbling block between you being able to throw the order or the car itself back at the dealer, without being hurt yourself financially, or having to fork out for a solicitor. Fun, lifestyle, image. Just the Sunco dealer. They had no real customer service skills, just a superficial veneer.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
